MASH Movers are the best. Very accommodating and reasonably priced. I felt like I had asked some friends to rent a moving van and help me move some of my furniture. It didn't feel like a business transaction at all, which was so nice and comforting after a stressful two weeks of moving. Regardless, they still did a very professional and efficient job. These guys are moving wizards! Or maybe warlocks. Whatever the case, they are amazing. Super friendly, very fast, and completely accommodating and patient during the chaos of the move. They even played awesome music in the truck while they were loading/unloading it, which was a nice bonus. When it came time for payment, they were very fair...the whole move took 3 1/2 hours and they charged me for exactly that (didn't round up to 4 hours, in other words). This review is long overdue. I highly recommend this 3-man crew! They are super efficient, quick, and friendly! They maintained excellent communication and made my move the easiest I've had. They didn't waste any time once they arrived. While 2 of the men moved smaller/medium items into the truck, the other disassembled furniture (i.e. bed, couch). Unlike previous experiences I've had with other companies, I wholeheartedly appreciated how they listened to where I wanted my furniture in my new place instead of placing them in the general area and me having to move them later. Mashmovers are awesome! We have used them three times, once to move from an apartment to a house, once to unload a storage garage, and finally to pick up two chairs and a wardrobe at two different furniture stores. They have been great each time! They are reliable, communicative, efficient, fast, and friendly. They make moving really easy, and their prices are very competitive for house/apartment moves. They also seem to charge less or certainly on par with the online only companies in picking up and moving single or a few pieces of items as well. I highly highly recommend them! They are not expensive, and using them is so much easier than renting your own van and moving boxes and boxes of your own stuff. read more

family of 5 here, just moved from one house to another in austin and MASH movers not only took on the job, but totally crushed it. and i mean that in the best way possible - no crushed, broken, lost, or damaged belongings here! this awesome team moved about a zillion boxes, plus all of our furniture, including our huge chest freezer (still full of food!), all to our new place in barely 6 hours. ALSO, they somehow managed to get our massive sleeper sofa up a narrow/twisting flight of stairs. all 4 movers were courteous and friendly, as well as careful with our belongings. they were gracious with our boys (2 and 4) running around under foot for a while, too. highly recommend! hopefully we won't be moving again anytime soon, but if we do, they're the first people i'm calling. the workers + the super reasonable rate = amazing value and deserving of your business! read more

What a great bunch of guys! They all had really positive attitudes especially for being first thing in the morning. The team was more than willing to go the extra mile: helped take the old furniture to the curb that was being replaced by furniture from the move and even helped disconnect the old washer and dryer so the newer ones could replace. Just beyond willing to help and so cheerful about the whole process. On top of that they even offered to draw up a free sign for the couch (wish I got a pic because it didn't stay long after the sign went up). Just so much to say about how friendly, courteous, and personable these guys were. The coup de gras was that Seth was very patient in trying to find a time that would work around my schedule. Not that I enjoy moving and hope it doesn't happen for a long time, but with guys like this I would have no doubt in reaching out to them again. Super cool dudes and very great at what they do. I was satisfied with the work that MASH did and would use them again. They provided the lowest cost out of the group of movers who responded quickly to my quote requests. A couple of other movers got back to me the next day with slightly lower quotes, but their delay cost them my business. I had a fairly simple move with only bedroom furniture and a desk. MASH arrived about five minutes after the scheduled time (fine by me) and completed the job in about an hour and a half. I paid the minimum two hour rate, which is standard for movers. They seemed careful with my furniture, although the back bottom corners of my dresser did get slightly crushed inward. I imagine this was hard to avoid, as I have a heavy IKEA dresser constructed of particleboard, not real wood. The back corners are hidden from view, so this was not a concern for me. Overall, the move was quick and painless, so MASH gets my recommendation. Plus, they are all musicians, so you can't help but feel like you are supporting the Austin music scene by giving them your business. read more

You're looking for trouble if you hire these jokers. I'd give them NO stars if I could Shame I can't upload a photo of the Ethan Allen dabybed loveseat whose fabric they destroyed or the BRAND NEW leather couch whose arm they damaged AND REFUSED TO REPAIR (Seth, the owner, offered just $150 for the loveseat, which is an insult (Seth said that's all it's worth) and denied his movers damaged the leather couch (although he wasn't there to see).) In addition -- they give you NO paperwork when youi hire them, and they are apparently uninsured (hence their refusal to fix what they broke). (0ne mover picked up the loveseat BY THE FABRIC -- which is why he TORE IT IRREPARABLY; my family was in the Ethan Allen business and I worked in the warehouse as a kid so I know YOU DON'T PICK UP A COUCH BY ITS FABRIC. (I saw him do it.)) In addition -- they brought a small 20' truck to move me, so they inevitably told me they HAD TO MAKE TWO TRIPS, WHICH ADDED GREAT EXPENSE (AND TIME) TO THE MOVE, BECAUSE THEY CHARGE FOR TRAVELING TIME. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS!!! read more
