We visit often and always ask for Izzy as our waitress. She is the best and always takes good care of us!

I have returned, another glorious Tuesday. Famous dollar tacos and white queso. Food is amazing as always. Service is so fast and always packed on Tuesdays. Come in for good food and even better service. read more

MasFajitas Mexican Restaurant 03-06-26 Heard a lot about this restaurant. Large dining area and Bar. The building is shared with a Seafood Restaurant! Separate dining areas with a common foyer and shared restrooms. Staff are very friendly. Our server was Jammie and she was fantastic. She explained the menu and answered our questions. We started off with a small order of guacamole which was awesome. We then tried their White Queso and Traditional Yellow Queso. They were both really good and I couldn't choose which one I liked best! You'll have to try them for yourself! We also had; The Road Kill - Grilled Chicken Breast topped with Queso Sauce, served with one Cheese and Onion Enchilada, Grilled Zucchini, and Pico de Gallo. Very flavorful. The chicken was moist and tender. The Cheese Enchilada was awesome with its chili sauce. Stuffed Fried Avocado - Hand battered fresh Avocado, stuffed with Spinach & Mushrooms. Served with a Cheese Enchilada, Rice, Beans and a side of Queso Sauce. The stuffed Avocado was totally awesome. Wrapped in cheese, then battered and deep fried. Gotta give it a try! The Beans and Rice were really good. We decided we need to go back and try more dishes! Yummy. Oh, The Chips and Salsa are great. Chips are Thin and Crispy and the salsa isn't too hot to eat! Give them a try and see what you think. read more

Stopped in bc of a wrong turn & not disappointed!! Brisket enchiladas are great so were the charro beans!! My server was very nice, helped me make up my mind, not overly attentive but perfect!! read more

Seriously, how about some mas tortillas??? We got a fijata plate for 2 and they gave us 3 tortillas. Never mind that the chicken was dry, and there was no sizzle at all. But they expected 2 people to be happy with 3 tortillas. I thought it was a mistake, but when I asked the server about it, she acted like I committed some horrible crime against humanity. The food was bla. The server was weird. I had high hopes for this place. read more

Enjoyed our Wednesday dinner. We both ordered the $2.99 margaritas. Added on the queso blanco for appetizer. Our waitress Izzy did a great job! She made sure everything was exactly to our order and kept the drinks refilled. Good service! read more

First, the things that helped them get two stars instead of one: 1) the staff members were all excellent. 2) the zesty lime seasoning sprinkle on the tostadas was an appreciated touch. However, nothing else measured up. The beef and chicken fajitas were incredibly dry and uninspired. In a desperate attempt to add moisture, we poured some of the unappealing salsa over them, but what they needed--besides being cooked more carefully--was perhaps a small serving of melted garlic butter. We turned to the Mexican shrimp cocktail, and it was equally disenchanting. The sauce was not sufficiently sweet and tangy and was served warm! Some of the tasteless shrimps were grilled and some weren't, which was also strange. We were so confused how the place could be so busy with the food being so substandard. Then we observed the big-screen TVs and the appealing bar; that's where all the action was. Well, we don't review bars, just food. And it was what it was. read more

Their food is "VERY" tasty. BUT the only problem is their refried beans have "p o r k" in them. 99% of Mexican food restaurants serve vegan (plant based) refried beans, which is ""awesome"". But for some "reason", they have chosen to put "pork" in their refried beans. Which is "fine". But it w/b "g r e a t " if they cooked their refried beans w/ out pork. Their service is excellent. The ambience is fun & energetic. If they would Just remove the p o r k from their refried beans, "more" people w/b able to enjoy their food ;--). read more

Big fan of the restaurant overall as they have a lot of great dishes. Today I had the carne asada fajitas and would never recommend them! An abundance of sizzling great tasting veggies, perfectly cooked tortillas and the worst carne asada I have ever eaten. It tasted like it was boiled for hours and the texture of baby food. I've had all four fajitas offerings and the other three options on the menu are great. The jalapeno enchiladas are next level good. Great restaurant and highly recommend everything else! read more

Went for the first time, for a late lunch. Ordered the birria (beef) tacos, and the HQ had the chicken/avocado enchiladas. Everything came out nice, fresh, and tasty, the sides were also stand out over the usual taqueria fare. Our server was fast, efficient, and friendly. Dining area was well kept, and plenty of seating. Menu had a wide variety of dishes, all looked worth a return visit. read more

Always little wait to be seated, very friendly staff and clean restaurant. Not loud and boisterous like most restaurants. We have eaten here many times. Service 9/10 Atmosphere 9/10 Food 7/10 - we had beef fajitas. Flavor was good but the steak was cut with the grain so it was very chewy. This is a very basic concept when preparing/serving skirt steak/fajitas. Salsa could use a level up- not very flavorful, more fresco flavored, no heat at all. Vegetables served on the side is great, but the lettuce is brown and covered with sour cream and shredded cheese was covered with sour cream and guacamole. read more

Food and service were top notch. Jessica is very attentive and very prompt to take care of us.

So good I don't even know why this has even 4 stars everything good super cheap and great service definitely recommend 100/10

Food was fresh-ordered the taco Al pastor plate, corn tortillas were fresh-got double rice-no issue and service was great. Server was attentive and helpful. Came with green salad that had a little heat and was good. Huge space, and good ambiance read more

Food was just ok. We will give it to them as service was solid and attentive, ambiance was loud (one particular server was practically yelling the order back to patrons), place quite honestly looked dirty. Floors, booths, just needed a good cleaning. Overpriced menu in our opinion. Guac was not fresh, clearly already made and had no flavor whatsoever. read more

The food was okay. Not the best or the worst. We went for lunch and ordered off of the lunch menu. Good price for the portion. The rice had hard rice mixed in with the cooked rice like it was "old" from the day before. The establishment was great. Spacious, clean and kind of festive! The hostess was welcoming and the waiter, Yehir, was awesome! read more

Mas Fajitas has a convenient location off the freeway and a large parking lot with an attractive restaurant front. They advertise seafood in the front part with a tall attractive restaurant sign. At first it appears like two different restaurants in one. The lobby is spacious with a cool interior mural. That's great for busy days and large groups. Table seating and bar seating are available. Entertainment includes TV and music. Excellent happy hour menu and drinks can help get your chill mode started. A nice menu with great options offer some satisfying appetizers and meals. Hopefully your hot meals are truly hot (as in temperature-wise). Good food nonetheless! Sauces galore - just ask... Friendly attentive service is always a plus. It was our first visit so I hope it's just as courteous next time. Keep up the good work! Welcome to town! read more

Host and wait staff very pleasant. bathrooms were clean aa well as the restaurant smelt and looked clean. Ordered 2 teas and margarita along with ground beef nachos. Teas came out right away but margarita didn't come out till we were finished with nachos. It was Sunday evening and not busy. When asked she said it was ready she just had to get it. Salsa and chips were fine. Nachos looked good but very uneventful. waitstaff did not offer any appetizer plates so we made a mess on the table and when the meal was set down they did not bother to wipe away. We got a burrito and the "road kill" which included a grilled chicken breast, sliced grilled zucchini (both were good) but the 2 cheese enchiladas appeared to be cooked in the morning and then they put the gravy and grated cheese on top and in the oven for a couple of minutes before bringing out so the sauce was warm on the outside but previously melted cheese was flat log shape and peeled apart from each other when cut and barely warm. probably would not have gone due to reading reviews but there wasn't much open on a Sunday evening. we were just passing through town. I didn't ask for a tea to go even though we are traveling because it was not that good. sorry to leave this unfavorable review but it not that hard to make good cheese enchiladas at a minimum. over all it wasn't bad but isn't a place i'd return to unless nothing else was open and desperate for a Mexican food quick fix. read more

We came here for the eclipse and then enjoyed some fajitas before returning home. The beef fajitas were very tender and flavorful! The rice and the charro beans were also excellent. Our waitress brought generous amounts of chips, refilled our salsa bowls and kept our ice tea glasses full. The place is very clean. And there are big screen televisions airing sports programs above the bar. We enjoyed our time there. read more

Apparently I am one of the few that just did not care for the food or the drinks.... Been 3 or 4 times and it's not the best experience. The biggest problem is the margaritas. I asked about the house and it's made with a mix, so I ordered a regular margaritas on the rocks. Still came with a terrible mix... sweet and sour mix. Went to the bar and ordered a ranch water thinking you can't mess that up.... It also had sweet and sour mix...... I know I'am picky but when you go to a Mexican restaurant the margarita should be on point.... The music was good but loud. I couldn't hear my kid talking on the other side of table. I am not saying do not go, but be aware not everyone agrees with the good reviews. read more

The chips and salsa was great. Quesadillas were okay. Will need to go back and try something else.

I have been here for take out only about 4 times prior to tonight. I'm so glad we decided to eat in and get a margarita. Not only are the carnitas the best and closest to my California favs, I officially have my new favorite and only server! Cici was amazing. Easy, funny, on top of it! She really made our first night out in awhile relaxed but fun. Good to know there's still awesome people out there! read more

0 out of 10. 1:30 pm lunch, the restaurant is empty. The hostess is sitting on the floor behind the counter. I was sat at a table & waited 10 minutes for someone to come, nothing. There were 3 employees within eyesight that didn't care. I got up & left. MasFajitas took away 10 minutes of my life that I'll never get back. read more

Might be my favorite spot in Temple. Definitely on the TexMex side of Mexican food, but the roots and foundations are solid. They have spicy, more traditional sauce available on request, the regular salsa is a little sweet. A lot of great dishes. Sol De Jalisco might have more authentic Mexican, but nowhere near the quality of service and experience. You ask for anything and it is out of the kitchen in minutes. They keep the things people order all the time on demand, what a concept that is so simple, but you never wait. You ask for salsa, a side of rice, beans, or something like that it's like they walk in the kitchen and right out. Compared to so many other places, it feels astronomical. I start to get frustrated going other places in town, that's how good it is. read more

We had a family and friends get-together there on 3/22/25 after a funeral. We didn't know exactly how many people were going to be there for this celebration of the afterlife. Chris, the manager, said earlier in the week to come on, and they would take care of our needs. Take care of our needs they did. The food was great, and the service was top-notch. Our server, sorry for all that is going on I forgot her name. She was one of the best servers I have seen in decades. So, MasFajitas, we as a family and friends, thank you for your outstanding food and service. Please support this place and keep them around as long as we can in our community. read more

It was amazing the first few times that we went. Last time the quesadillas were soaking in grease. Meat didn't taste very fresh.
