In town for a cookoff and needed some Cold LIbations! We walked in on a busy Friday night and got seated pretty quickly. After looking at their menu their prices seemed too good to be true! We got a large Queso, Beef Enchiladas and a Ceviche Tostada. Everything was wonderful and tasted delicious what we loved was how fresh the food was! A must try for sure! They had live entertainment & a great family atmosphere! We will definitely be back!!

Had dinner with the family tonight. This restaurant was recommended by my contractor. Well it was a very good recommendation for sure. This place is newly opened and the parking lot was full at 5 PM on a Saturday. There is parking across the street. Nice place inside and greeters are very helpful and friendly. I had the #12 Crispy Taco Plate, comes with three tacos, and refried beans. The family had two orders of #27 Enchilada Plate it comes with Three enchiladas and beans, option of green or red sauce. One Crispy taco is 2.99. Not bad. Will be back finally found a good Mexican restaurant in the area highly recommend trying this place out.

Outdoor seating was fresh and cute

New to the area and this spot made a strong first impression. Quick seating, really nice decor, and the outdoor seating was a great vibe. Drinks were solid, and the mixed fajitas came out quickly hot with juicy, well-seasoned meat. Portions are generous and the salsa was soooooo good and fresh. We will be back for sure!!

This is by far our favorite Mexican restaurant in Belton! We go t least once a week. The food and service is always spot on. They prices are really great too. The new updates to the building make it look so much nicer!

Well this time around it's the service that get them less then 5 stars again. The food was amazing as usual. The remodeling was very nice, but I was sliding all around on the floor. Idk what they use to clean it but I felt like if I wasn't careful at any moment I could slip and fall. The service was bad we waited for 20 minutes just for our soda and complimentary chips. And for get about asking for a refill I had to asked 4 different times for my 1 refill. If their food wasn't so good here I would not come back.

Longtime Belton resident here. TMG has been the go-to Mexican for late-night, fast great service &…read morefood over the years. They've even expanded their parking lot over the past few years to accommodate their popularity, including a second drive-through lane. But for the past several weeks, it's had a cone blocking the second lane rendering it unusable. Why have it if it's not going to be utilized? Here's why they're getting a 2 star from me tonight. See, I hit them up for take-home a lot using their drive-through including tonight. The service is kind, usually speedy & the food is consistently great quality - absolutely not mediocre Mexican. However, tonight was the FIRST time I've seen a major change for take-out & it's not good. This is why even after all the good times & food, I'm submitting a review & a less-than par one at that. I did voice my concern with the drive-through facilitator who confirmed this was a brand new adjustment they've made & offered to change it to the same old. But I refused to waste more time & resources. Let me elaborate specifically on the major issue of change here: First & case in point, look at the picture of my order & ask yourself, where are the beans?? They have always used the typical dinner plate styrofoam box. Tonight I got, for the first time, a round aluminum plate instead. You typically get these at Italian restaurants where there is one take-home entree. So now, you CANNOT get your food separated/quarantined. YES, this keeps the order hot, much appreciated. But when you have an entree, and what should be distinguishable sides such as refried beans, rice & salad, WHO wants it all congealed together as if it's one entree? Additionally, I know that many people would have a problem with their food being basically mixed together without diner choice control. Not only that, to prove the point, I opened mine to basically not even SEE the beans. Yes, they're UNDER all that....somewhere! What really irked me too is that with the change, though, not by much, the receiver is presented with seemingly smaller portion sizes for obviously the same price. What gives TMG? Keeping it hot sacrifices some common sense eater preferences/ mix rights & makes me feel like you want to cheat the customer a little bit to save costs too. I'm all for GOOD & REASONABLE changes, but I think this is a bad move.

It lived up to that comment. The cheese was so awful I had to peel it off in clumps off the chips. The meat was overdone and had way too much nasty spice on it. Very, very unpleasant and totally unlike the beautiful picture on line. Seating was very overcrowded, cheap paper napkins rolled around a cheap knife and fork at the table. The only good thing was the marguerita. My gosh Temple and Belton people, upgrade your food! There is so much good food out in the world and I don't understand why anyone would eat this crap.

Service was pretty questionable. It was too way noisy inside so we had to practically yell at one another sitting across the table. We were a party of 6, and 3 of our orders got wrong. 2 of the orders were wrong because of miscommunication, which is fine, wish the waitress would have clarified the food before putting it in. Biggest problem is that when we asked the waitress about the food, she started arguing with us. Not okay with an argument from the staff, which is too bad because this was a first time experience for part of our party, and they won't be coming back. Not sure we'd be going back, and we've come here a handful of times. Food was good. Flautas, steak ranchero, trio enchiladas, and chicken enchilada verdes. Also got uncharged for meat that we didn't ask for, wanted regular shredded chicken not chicken fajita, this was also told to the waitress when ordering and cooked wrong. Also make sure if you're paying with a credit card, have them take off the non-cash adjustment. They automatically put it on the checks, and unless you know about it, they will still charge you it.

I ordered a regular shrimp cocktail and seafood tacos. Food came quickly, the shrimp cocktail was insanely sweet and I cannot even begin to explain why, I ate 4 bites and had to leave it alone. The shrimp tacos were okay. Nothing special. Over all, I did not clear any one item from my plate. They did voluntarily take 25% off both items which I was grateful for. I did however extend it back in a tip. Not sure I would go back but there is a first time for everything. I'd say the best thing about the meal was it was raining on the tin roof I was sitting under and watching the creek free flow in front of it.

Well it did and the waitress did not let me know that and so I got charged for an extra sour cream. Not a big fan of refried beans, however that was what they had.
