“I would recommend the #8 Carne Asada plate (with enough grilled beef to make about 5 tacos) and Jessie's Special with beef, chicken, pork, and shrimp.”

The server whose nickname is "T" is the best server in the whole joint meaning that it'll be hard to get her. We ordered the mango ceviche and Guac which were delicious as always.

The margaritas (mine were on the rocks) made to perfection. Finally a place that has "Hot" salsa. Great taste, great amount of heat. Only miss with all of this are the chips. My personal preference is for a thinner chip. Some like the thicker ones and try this place regardless of my chip preferences. I ordered the Steak Fajitas with Corn tortillas. Great portion size. The sides were portioned to complete the meal. I did ask for sour cream since the menu did not say it came with it. Well it did and the waitress did not let me know that and so I got charged for an extra sour cream. Not a big fan of refried beans, however that was what they had. They tasted good and I believe if you are a refried beans type, they would be considered great! The restaurant itself is modern meets industrial vibe. Cozy but not tiny. The staff could be a little more attentive or at least more personable. All in all, I would eat here anytime I am visiting the area and wanting Mexican.

After the lunch rush there were only two occupied tables so I was seated immediately. The server led me to my seat, handed me a menu, and asked me what I wanted to drink. I chose water with lemon which was quickly brought along with chips and salsa. The salsa was flavorful and not too spicy. I ordered TexMex Enchiladas from the lunch section of the menu. My food was brought to the table surprisingly fast! The beans and enchiladas were hot. The rice was a little on the room temperature side but still warm enough not to complain. I finished my food pretty quickly and lingered a bit munching on chips and salsa. No complaints from the staff. I asked if they happened to have churros and they do! The server said that they come four churros to an order so I asked for an order for dessert. The churros took about 7 minutes or so to cook. They were served extremely hot since they just came out of the fryer. They were served on a plate arranged like a hashtag with five dollops of whipped cream. The plate was sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and drizzled with honey. Each churro was filled with a cream custard. They were very tasty! Total came to $22 with tip. Not too bad these days!

You can always tell you are at the right place when everyone's head is down focusing on their meal. I am not sure anyone noticed we walked in except the lady at the counter, and she let us know we could seat ourselves and someone would be with us shortly. We quickly took our seats. My favorite Mexican dish is cheese enchiladas and that is exactly what we got! We shared them along with the barbacoa. I am not sure which one I liked best, but I really enjoyed sharing them both... so that is what I would suggest. And of course, I had to order one of my very favorite drinks, a strawberry Jarritos! So good! It is not a full meal without a dessert, right? Welp, we ordered the Tres Leches Cake, and it was fabulous. There was not a clean plate left on the table. We even made burritos out of the homemade tortillas, rice and beans. I had to waddle on out of this fine establishment, ha! You can bet I will waddle back in the next time I visit too! Below are the menu items we enjoyed... ENCHILADA PLATE Three Enchiladas with your choice of Beef, Chicken, or Cheese. Served with rice & beans. BARBACOA & EGGS Mexican BBQ & (2) Eggs, beans & potatoes TRES LECHES CAKE
