Very large menu. Something for everyone. A good go to when you have people with different tastes.

Nolan Creek Brewery - One of many craft beers we brew

Belton Texas treated me pretty well when I visited. Mostly because Nolan Creek Brewery served up a…read moregood time with their pints and fun stuff for my toddler to play with. You'll see a buncha wooden tables that gives this place an "off pub" look but still very nice and warm. Friendly staff recommended a few brews for me to try and the pricing was great. I got 2 beers, an IPA and a blonde to taste. Both were refreshing and delicious and I ordered a side of dill dip and pretzels (which i didn't really care for). Beers tasty, snacks are good, stuff for my toddler to do. I had a good time there. Thanks Nolan Creek Brewery!

You take a flight! Small towns make walking around easy. My family went antiquing, and I waltzed on over to the local brewery. Walking in, it was still early afternoon. There is a massive parking lot for retail outside. The brewery has a patio out front, and ample seating inside. I chatted up a local fella at the bar for a bit. He put me onto the Pioneer Porter, which was very tasty. My favorite was the Creekside Warmer, an 8.3% Winter brew. Very tasty. The ramblers Amber and the Coyotes Call were very good too. The place is very clean, the staff is friendly and chatty. They have events throughout the week, and Mimosas for those so inclined! There is a food menu, but I did not partake in the chewables. Pricing was good too, can't complain. If I find myself out in those parts again, I'd be back!

We told our waitress and her response was "oh no! I'm sorry, let me get the manager because she'll want to talk to you. She's just downstairs." The manager showed up and after a brief description of the issue, apologized and took that food off our bill. We felt sincerely cared. To add to their sweetness, we always forget to take pictures. A separate waitress took great photos for us....and happily greeted us when my cousin returned to grab her purse she left behind 15 minutes later. The pizza was good...very good, but the people make it taste the best! We're coming back! Thank you Oak Fire!

The vibes were great, and even though we came on a busy Saturday night, we didn't have to wait for a table. It's a nice romantic atmosphere, but there were also plenty of families with kids there as well. We got the OakFire Street Taco pizza, and it was amazing. I love trying unique pizzas, and this was one of the very few that stood out to us on the menu. The two of us shared a 20 inch pizza and finished it all. This was with a man who eats a lot, so I would probably normally get the smaller pizza. They have a selection of beer and wine as well as a few prosecco beverages, mimosas, and wine spritzers on a back page of the menu. I got the strawberry fields prosecco, and it was a tasty and sweet drink. My date got the Creek Don't Rise Lager and Lagersaurus Tex, which he enjoyed as a beer drinker.

We picked up some information about them that day. A few weeks later we decided to go check it out. When we got there, we were helped immediately. Even though we were complete newbies, they explained everything to us, answered all of our questions, and really made us feel welcome. We bought a startup kit, some bottles, and a beer kit. Since then my girlfriend and I have been in there a quite a few times. Every time, our questions are answered and we are helped with what we need. They even have their own recipes for beer that they will give you. They will even help you figure out what grains you need depending on the method of brewing you will be doing and the recipe. The owners run the shop and they are extremely knowledgeable. Their prices are reasonable and they even have wine making supplies. We haven't delved into that realm yet though. Maybe eventually, but for now, just beer. They even have these cool little cheese making kits there if you want to do that. Last weekend we went in and decided we wanted to do a partial mash based on a recipe they had. We were helped all the way through from having the grains ground and put together for us, to the kind of malt extract, hops, and yeast we were supposed to use. It was all explained to us too so that we would understand it. We went that night and brewed our beer. It is now fermenting successfully. Looks like so far we did it right! This is actually the very first time that I have written a review on a company because I was so happy with it. If you are looking into getting into home brewing, check these guys out. It's a small shop but they will have what you need. Very honest people too. I have actually been talked out of buying some things I didn't need. They don't pressure you into buying anything, which is one thing I dislike about going into some businesses.
