Food was excellent, quantities were generous and we got several meals out of our order. Loved the chicken korma.

Food is excellent. Flavors are authentic and the amount is very generous. Prices are normal high but one dish can easily serve two people.

La Pasta - Fresh Pasta Sign!

Best Fresh Pasta…read more This review is based on the products-- we've been going to the farmer's market and always find ourselves visiting the La Pasta stand every time. The ladies at the stand are always very friendly and helpful in their suggestions (such as which type of sauce to pair with the pasta, or the flavor of the pasta or ravioli filling). Thus far, we've gotten the egg bucatini, the red pepper bucatini, the seasonal gnocchi, and the dreamy garlic spread. Generally, I'm not a big fan of fresh pasta, because many times, I feel it gets too mushy (or perhaps it is the quality of the pasta). La Pasta fresh pasta has never been mushy; it has that imperative al dente bite-- a clear sign of good quality pasta. The gnocchi is flavorful and pairs well with the dreamy garlic spread. Looking forward to trying the pumpkin ravioli later in the week. The price is comparable to the fresh pasta you would find at a specialty store, like Whole Foods, Metropolitan Market, or PCC Markets-- however, La Pasta's quality is far superior. La Pasta products are worth the price. We look forward to trying any new products, as well as upcoming seasonals. We also hope that they may have a brick and mortar store in the future on the Eastside for the farmer's market offseason.

O what a wonderful place and people! I have been going for 5 decades!…read more It is nothing like a corporate store. It is so fragrant now in August: every 2' is another delectable item wafting its unique perfumes. Right now the fruit is a symphony! Mmmm! day So much of their stock is very local and you can sure taste the difference! Voluptuous tomatoes from Yakima. YUM! Oregon melons. Local and very fresh herb cuttings. UW Huskies™ russet potatoes. Go Dogs! Bake some! Make steak fries! Fantastic people; very friendly and so helpful too. It's on the Fresh Bucks program now, so that's great in an ever-increasingly expensive neighborhood. So glad they are resilient and were able to restart after the fire. I got so inspired in there, I made cookies for the first time in a few years; rhubarb/strawberry/white chocolate. Rhubarb $2#. When was the last time a market inspired you? Go there.

Knowing that they had just reopened after closing for a month, it was heart-wrenching watching the firefighters drill through the front door because I knew this would be a catastrophic loss. (The firemen responded within minutes and the fire was only on the porch as far as I could see.) This was a small business with affordable produce and snacks. It was a good grab-and-go store that served the neighborhood for over 30 years. I would swing by 2-3 times a week because it's a much better alternative to pricey Whole Foods down the street. The staff were always kind and helpful. I wish I had seen or heard something that night. I don't even want to believe it. Why even do this? Now the last best thing in Roosevelt is gone. Where do we go now for groceries? How many more businesses do we need to lose in this neighborhood?

We always get the large sized order of nachos, a perfect meal for two people. Every element of these are perfect, though their ratios do vary order to order. The Al Paskor is always moist and flavorful pork, the gochujang crema is rich but not spicy and adds so much dimension to the dish. The chips are crispy, the cheese gooey, and the pico refreshing. They have a whole setup of korean style add-ons. My wife loves to add the pickled daikon to her half. The service is always fast, so easy to order on their kiosk, and they just text you when it's ready so you don't have to wait out in the cold. You won't regret stopping by!

I ordered two sides and a rice bowl with carne asada with a Korean twist, and after tip it was $35 and change. I'm so pleased with the easy ordering at Project 9 Brewing. They have tablets to order from, QR codes, and of course you can order straight from the food truck. I really liked how the tablets also offered common modifications, so the egg on mine was easy to order fully cooked through. I didn't love how buttery the caramelized kimchi was. It completely takes away from the flavor, so all I really could taste was butter. Kimchi aside, there are so many generous toppings and it really compliments the salty meat and seasoned rice. They also have a big condiment tray so you can even top your food with extra pickled veggies, sauces, and the like. My kids devoured the rice. Their packaging is fully compostable or recyclable. Wonderful addition to a fun, family friendly brewery!
