Chef Michael then organize the menu with my son and his fiancé. Chef Michael showed up and started his prep, he was very professional and approachable. His organization in the kitchen was amazing. We had 10 adults and three grandchildren at the tables. Chef Michael treated the kids with respect and described each dish as it came out. We had five appetizers, a couple salads, and the main with two sides. Everything was exceptional, we are still talking about it. We will remember this meal forever. Chef Michael packed up leftovers, and clean the kitchen immaculately. We couldn't be any happier with the service and the food that we received. The grandkids favorite course was the grilled octopus, amazing! We would definitely recommend and would do this again in a heartbeat. Thanks to Laura and Chef Michael

The menu selection/communication beforehand was great and I made last minute changes to plans that were easily accommodated. Setup and cleanup were fully taken care of and it was a seamless process that made my wife and I's wedding that much better. Finally, the food was incredible and there were plenty of leftovers. I'd recommend Honest to Goodness and Chef Laura to anyone.

What a culinary delight! We were treated to the most tender lemon chicken, creamiest herb-baked risotto, succulent marinated veggies, and al dente vegetarian raviolis. I was lucky (and hungry!) enough to make it back for a second plate of everything. Our party was unique in the sense that we had a relaxing family dinner before the kids all arrived for their activities and fun. The kids were also treated to appetizers of a beautifully arranged veggie plate and cheese plate, smoked Gouda mac n cheese bites, and veggie pot stickers. Of course I sampled all this despite my already expanding belt line. Everything put out was simply fabulous. The other key driver to this five-star experience: H-I-H comes prepared with to-go boxes. Nothing goes to waste in this operation. Either the guests/booker take the food home or it gets sent to a shelter. Waste not, want not. Thus, don't waste your time looking at other caterers because Honey I'm Home is the one that will have your guests wanting more.

Rated at 3.5-stars (not a full 4.0*)…read more This restaurant is one shop in a string of shops on Greenwood Avenue. It's a little dark (window only on the street side), and it's seen better days. The staff seems friendly enough, but they are stretched thin, and it took a while for the server to take my order, then a while for the kitchen to actually produce it. The food was adequate, but nothing special: I had the Big Dipper breakfast & tea - in my case scrambled eggs, blueberry pancakes, hash browns, and a sausage patty. The hash browns were pretty standard, the scrambled eggs pretty standard, the sausage patty huge and greasy, and the two blueberry pancakes huge and very thick (a little heavy). It was a lot of food, more than I wanted to eat. They had a good variety of teas, but not the one I wanted (Earl Grey) so I settled for English Breakfast. There was nothing wrong with breakfast or the restaurant, but not much to get excited about either. I probably won't go back, but if I do, I'd expect the food to be adequate but not worth a special trip. Going out for breakfast is a pleasure, but when I pay restaurant prices for breakfast, I expect it to be a little more enjoyable than this was.

VISIT HISTORY: 4.5/5…read more - Last visit: This past Friday (prime date night chaos hour). they only do pizza Tues-Friday (?? gatekeeping carbs but okay), and sandwiches are a weekend-only personality - Frequency: First time, will plot plotting return - Visit again? Yes, but only when emotionally prepared to wait and physically prepared to eat like a linebacker FOO(D)RINK: 4.5/5 - Overall: If you are in the mood for Detroit-style pizza, this is a mostly hard yes. Not a casual yes but not a "cancel your other plans" yes. - Chicago pizza: came with 6 slices for 2 people. Tapped out at 4.5 and entered a mild food coma so we went for a walk afterwards. I was starving going in (like thinking-about-food-for-2-hours starving) and still got humbled. This pizza is THICCKK. Chicago with green pepper = elite decision, an unexpected vegetable moment that felt almost...responsible. Mid-slice meh. Corner slice = main character energy, crispy edges, structurally superior, spiritually fulfilling. - The "green on green on green" salad surprisingly huge portion - chips and dip: literally chips. lots of chips. dip was fine. idk if i would order again. VIB(E)XPERIENCE: 4/5 - Design: Casual, lots of wood, indoor and outdoor seating, slightly "we care but not too much" aesthetic. Bonus: saw a dog outside - Staff: Friendly, t-shirt casual, zero pretense. exactly the energy you want when being served brick-sized pizza slices. - Noise level: Medium. Seinfeld playing in the background which somehow became the main character. Music? Unclear. Don't remember. - Wait time for foo(d)rink arrival: less than 15 minutes - Wait time for our check: staff and i immediately made eye contact. You pay at the front where everyone is also waiting, so less "wait time" but I felt squished due to limited space

On a Friday at 6p , my friends and I waited about 45 minutes for a table. Limited amount of seating indoors and outdoor seating is available. Its warm and cozy inside with a bustling kitchen and unique staff with other bars nearby to wait and grab drinks. I've never had a Caesar salad with goldfish on it and full anchovy pieces. It's great if you like an full-flavored Caesar dressing. It's also made with kale, giving it a chewier bite. The pizza was saucy and garlicky. Personally I wanted it to be cheesier. The hot honey was my preferred sauce. The ranch has LOTS of dill so tastes like pickles but somehow isn't sour... Overall, I recommend coming early or on a weekend if you aren't down to wait.
