We reached out to Laura for a private chef for our son's wedding dinner. We had a zoom meeting with…read moreLaura to go over some of the details and start a menu, that went very well. Chef Michael then organize the menu with my son and his fiancé. Chef Michael showed up and started his prep, he was very professional and approachable. His organization in the kitchen was amazing. We had 10 adults and three grandchildren at the tables. Chef Michael treated the kids with respect and described each dish as it came out. We had five appetizers, a couple salads, and the main with two sides. Everything was exceptional, we are still talking about it. We will remember this meal forever. Chef Michael packed up leftovers, and clean the kitchen immaculately. We couldn't be any happier with the service and the food that we received. The grandkids favorite course was the grilled octopus, amazing! We would definitely recommend and would do this again in a heartbeat. Thanks to Laura and Chef Michael

The menu selection/communication beforehand was great and I made last minute changes to plans that were easily accommodated. Setup and cleanup were fully taken care of and it was a seamless process that made my wife and I's wedding that much better. Finally, the food was incredible and there were plenty of leftovers. I'd recommend Honest to Goodness and Chef Laura to anyone.

Game changing. 100% game changing. I have no idea why we waited so long to try this... and if you…read moretold me that a business existed like this a few years ago, I wouldn't have believed you. Saves us a ton of time with two kids, the food is always anywhere between 8/10, 9/10, or 10/10. And we're pretty discerning in our household for Indian food (blame my mom's cooking reputation). While we absolutely love using T+More and were happy to write this review... there are three small pieces of feedback that I think would make this business indispensable to us no matter what: 1) Switch to using more reusable containers. The bag and frozen ice is a good start, but I'd love to see less reliance on plastic containers, esp. when those plastic containers aren't specified to be BPA free. What about Pyrex containers? There's a $20 onboarding fee for a crappy refrigerated bag. I think we'd have been willing to pay a higher onboarding fee if the containers were reusable and the bag being higher quality and insulated. 2) Just send the rotis that they have at the Indian store with some minimal markup. As Turmeric has made it so that we don't really need to go to the east side to get ingredients for curries anymore, might as well just add the rotis in as well so that we don't have to go to the east side to pick those up. 3) I know this is asking too much, but it's worth a shot. Indian food is great (and realistically, we love getting it week). However, we frequently talk about how this could get 'boring' after a little while, and we wish there were was at least one non-desi option in the rotation on a weekly basis. Maybe even Indo-chinese. If Turmeric 'n More really had "More", I think we'd just stick to this and not need anything else. These are small nits and we're more than happy with the service.

If you are looking for home cooked Indian meals, I highly recommend that you give Turmeric 'n more…read morea try! I have been getting weekly deliveries for a month now - every delivery has been without any issue and has been very tasty! The food is tasty, does not have a lot of oil, has home cooked taste. With weeklychange to the menu, you don't get bored. Delivery is timely. Due to some issue at my end, they had difficulty delivering one week. They called me up and ensured I get my food delivered to the new address. I was so impressed. All in all, 5-stars!!

It's taken me a little while to get to this review, but the short version is: 5 stars for food…read morequality and customer service. First, let's talk about the food. I mean, that's the point of a food prep service, right? It's excellent. I've done business with other local food prep shops, and the product from FitTrax is simply better. You can tell that a chef is behind these recipes because the flavors are present and complex and well put together, and you just find yourself enjoying every bite. The fact that they target the calories and macros to a couple of different fitness groups is great. The selection is broad and you get a good choice of proteins (beef, pork, chicken, salmon), carbs (potatoes, rice, sweet potatoes) and veggies. You just won't get bored of this food. In addition to à la carte ordering, FitTrax offers a variety of weekly plans (with delivery or local pickup) of 7, 10, 14 or 21 meals and even have a vegan option. They offer regular and "large" sized meals, and the large meals are LARGE. At up to 760 (healthy) calories and sometimes 1.5 lbs of food per meal, they are definitely intended for the body-building set. I figured I could handle them, but even at my 200 lbs and daily 1-hour HIIT routine, I'm switching back to the regular sized meals. The large meals are as delicious as the regular, they're just too big for me! In terms of practicality, these meals can't be beat. They come in sealed packaging that keeps them fresh for a week, and the packaging is robust enough to toss them in the freezer and thaw them at a later date (with little to no degradation of taste.) They're easy to heat in a microwave and the packaging is recyclable. Now let's talk about customer service. Their website can be a little confusing and has had some real glitches. Not to worry, their customer service is top notch and every one of my concerns has been addressed quickly, efficiently and to my total satisfaction, all by e-mail (which is my preferred medium.) I'm currently buying meals from FitTrax as I'm on a fitness challenge at my gym. Truth is, their meals are tasty and healthy enough, and frankly economical enough that I may just stick with them.

This service is a life saver for me! I get to handpick my meals every week and the meals have been…read moredelicious. Consider grabbing some meals if you find yourself succumbing to a quick (less than healthy) meal options due to time/ work restraints. Support local now more than ever!
