As a girl who loves to secondhand and vintage shop, getting them altered makes the biggest difference. On my first trip here about a year ago I brought in a few items and left with a perfectly fitting pair of linen trousers (second hand find that were a little too big) and another pair of pants that also needed to be taken in. It was perfect! On this last visit I brought in a few items that needed tweaks and I worked with Jimmy. He helped me bring all 3 pieces to life and I can't wait to pick them up. I love that they don't pressure you to go through with an alteration if it's not what you imagined or maybe expensive. The space is also beautiful and calm and here's plenty of room to move around. Highly recommend!

They also stapled tags to my clothing, which is not a good way to treat delicate fabrics. I accepted the pants at the store because the flaws didn't really bother me until I had to wear the pants for a day. It wasn't a good value, given the uncomfortable result.

Alterations can be tricky…read more If they charge a lot you may assume it's great (and it might not be.) If they don't charge enough you assume it's bad (and it might not be.) Alterations to go is a nice balance. I recently got a new pair of Paige jeans hemmed and it only set me back $15. Both sides even, nice cuff - not much more you could ask for. Looks like the store did it themselves. I have a jacket that needs some zipper work and another pair of dress pants for work (that I might need sometime in 2022 at this point) so I'll be come here for both of those. The staff is generally fine, although there is one woman who tends to be curt. Most recently, I went and the 3 staff started laughing when I came out of the fitting room. They asked if I spoke Spanish. When I replied no, they proceeded to speak in Spanish. It was strange to ask and the rest of the interaction was uncomfortable. When I asked for clarity on a price the attitude I got back was enough to walk away. $60 for any dress that has a lining; even if it's a simple cotton sundress. I've been here before, back in February 2026 to have a bridesmaid dress altered and they did a…read morewonderful job, so I didn't hesitate to return. Unfortunately, my experience this time was completely different. I brought in a simple double layered dress that only needed to be hemmed and was quoted $140, more than the dress itself! I was told that because it had two layers, it was essentially like "hemming two dresses." At $70 a layer, I guess every layer counts. I then asked about simply taking in the waist of a pair of jeans. I was initially quoted $25, but after looking at them again, I was told there was suddenly "a lot more work" involved and that I had been quoted incorrectly. At that point, I took both items and left. I went to another alterations shop and was quoted under $100 for BOTH the dress and the jeans. It seems management may have changed since my last visit, which is unfortunate because I was previously very happy with their work. Hopefully the pricing doesn't continue in this direction, because $140 to hem a simple dress is pretty hard to justify.
