First we got a $25,000 estimate from a contractor who was going to use the cheapest windows on the market. Then a $46,000 estimate from Renewal by Anderson, which we almost got sucked into. Finally after much research of window brands and companies we contacted AGM Windows for an estimate. Paul contacted us quickly and came out to show us the window he uses and give us an estimate. He was so pleasant and professional to work with and quickly responded to all our questions. We got an estimate for 20 Okna 600 windows, highly rated, for a substantial amount less than the cheap windows the contractor was trying to stick us with. In addition, Paul worked with the HOA for the approval, so helpful! The installation crew was AMAZING...organized, clean, and communicative. The only reason I waited to write this review is because I wanted to see and compare our electricity bill from last year to this year and boy were these windows and company we choose a great decision. Our bill last June was $228 this June $86...now that's awesome and so is AGM Windows ;)

The first time I interacted with AGM Windows was a bit weird, since AGM Windows' website was hacked in 2016. But since that time, there have been no problems getting to his website or contacting the owner, Paul. Paul is still the owner and still personally shows up to examine the windows and to take final measurements. After paying a deposit and signing the contract, Paul orders the windows form his supplier, and when the windows are ready, he sends 1 to 3 people to install the windows, depending on the size of the order and availability of his crew. It should be noted that these crew members have been working with AGM Windows since my first window order. It is good that Paul is able to retain the crew, since they are very experienced and can install the windows quickly and accurately. The pandemic caused supply issues for AGM Windows, so it might take longer to have your windows ready and window prices have gone up (Paul showed me an email by his supplier announcing price increases). However, Paul and his crew still work consistently and expediently to install the windows once they have them from their supplier. Despite the price increases on the windows, AGM Windows' overall project quotes are still lower than those of other window installers (i.e. the ones that advertise on TV, radio, and your local coupon mailer), and AGM Windows does not do sales gimmicks or sales pressures. AGM Windows is a "no frills" and to-the-point window installer. I still highly recommend them.

It's rare to see a 5 star business receive a low rating review like this, but unfortunately I had an incredibly disappointing experience, which I feel compelled to share with other homeowners to prevent anyone else from falling victim to their unprofessional behavior and lack of accountability. One of our large casement windows was factory damaged and no one noticed till it started to fog up over the past year. I requested a replacement as it was well within the 20 year warranty period. They asked for picture proof and I provided. I had to keep following up for 2 months because they couldn't provide a timeline for installation. When we finally aligned on a date they notified me within 1 hour of the appointment that they can't come because they had a situation. It's okay, things come up but you're suppose to provide a solution with next steps and not keep your clients waiting for an answer. What's truly disappointing is how Ken handled the situation. No one came to supervise the installation so that is a mistake on their part. Instead of acknowledging their workers' errors, they pointed fingers at me, accusing me of tampering with the frame & caulk. Mind you, none of my windows have caulk between the glass and frame. I'm so confused where that came from. I had photographic proof of the window's condition before and after installation, as well as security camera footage of their technicians using boxcutter and hammer to remove the frame (which I assume is what caused the damage). As a homeowner who had placed trust in American Windows Plus expertise, I was shocked by their lack of integrity and commitment to quality workmanship. A company that truly values its customers would have promptly addressed the issue, taken accountability for their errors, and worked towards a solution. Instead, they chose to evade responsibility and, quite frankly, tarnished their own reputation. Now, I have to live with the unsightly scars of their negligence - visible scratches and awkward caulk on the exterior window frame. Despite providing all the evidence necessary to prove their mistakes, Ken continued to deny their wrongdoing and refused to provide any solution or replacement. They even went throughout the apartment, checking all of the other windows to make sure there were no other issues. Altin and Egli were kind, respectful, professional and efficient. We ordered and paid for several pet-safe screens for our windows and sliding doors. They cancelled…read morethe first appointment. We rescheduled, and then they didn't show up for the next one, nor the next one, an so on. This happened around 12 times over a period of two months! Eventually, the office administrator gave me the direct phone number for her boss, Reggie, because even she couldn't get hold of him anymore. Every time there was a different excuse: he was "driving back from Florida," dealing with "an emergency with an employee in Florida," had to leave "for Florida," and so on. There was always another excuse. One day, his crew finally showed up and installed some of the window screens. However, they had to wait six hours for him to arrive to bring the material. Then we discovered that several of the screens didn't fit because he had measured them incorrectly. None of the large sliding door screens were even ready. Eventually, I'd had enough and demanded a refund for the unfinished work and the screens we never received. He promised again that he would come and complete the installation, even confirming it by email, but he never showed up. He repeated this two more times. Finally, I told him I was done and wanted our money back. His response was to hang up on me! And now, it shows that their business is "permanently closed" and I'm left to figure out how I'll get a refund from them!
