Back on August 10th, we had our windows replaced after a long time wanting to do this for our house. The 22 windows and our balcony door back on August 10th. The extra window we accidentally forgot and it was completed this week, 23 windows all together was done very well. Between the friendliness, cleanliness and consideration to using shoe covers, covering their work with cloths, using a shop vac to clean up the residue, and more. I had 19 of the windows in my house here in Jersey City replaced 2 months ago by the team at Deluxe Windows & Doors. From the very first discussion, Dmitry was always thoughtful and descriptive about my options and what the process would be like. And after comparing with 2 other companies, I was surprised at how competitive the pricing was, even considering that Deluxe was offering a better service. (Another company was saying they'd need to remove all of the internal window trim - yikes!) On the installation day, everything went smoothly, and the entire crew was polite and accommodating (since I had to move my cats to different rooms throughout he day). I was impressed at how cleanly and quickly the old widows were removed and the new windows were installed. All seams were sealed smoothly, the windows were all tested, and everything was cleaned up inside and outside when they were finished. I ordered 16 windows. Installation went smoothly but they replaced a window in the wrong location. I had 4-100 year old windows in a bedroom to be replaced but they installed one window in a bathroom instead of the bedroom. The bathroom window was not very old so I don't understand how the mistake was made. So now I have 3 new windows and one old drafty window in my bedroom. Dmitri is a nice guy but he is not doing anything to make this customer happy. I am a businessman and if a mistake like this was made I would have made good on it immediately, no questions asked. He's fair, straightforward and honest during the sales process and his team works efficiently, are respectful of the space, clean up after themselves, and do an amazing job. He was also very patient in answering all of my questions. Lastly, he charges a price that is fair for the marketplace. We moved into a 100 year old house with 52 windows, at the time, only 4 of them opened (and were new), otherwise the rest were original single pane with half the sash weights and ropes missing and completely painted shut. This was terrible for energy efficiency and keeping heat in (or staying warm during the winter). Over a period of a year, I reached out to several different contractors, in which I was literally quoted the cost of a down payment for a house in order to get the job done. Dmitry provided one of the best prices for double pane vinyl replacement windows. When we finally locked the job in, we waited 4 - 5 weeks for the custom window orders to come through, we scheduled a date, and his team came in 3 days and replaced all 48 windows and inserted aluminum capping. The windows are absolutely perfect for the house, we feel much safer knowing that we can now open all of our windows, know that we'll be saving a lot of money on energy bills in the long term, and are so thrilled with the final result. read more

A neighbor recently had new windows installed. I took a look at the windows and asked for the vendor. He gave me the info for Deluxe Windows. Dimitri, the owner, stopped at our home in Holmdel, NJ. After looking at the windows, he gave us a quote. A few days later a Crew leader, Oscar, stopped by to take measurements. The windows came in a few weeks later and Oscar and his crew came to install them. They used tarps indoors as needed and removed all old windows and any debris. The new trim on the exterior of the windows really dressed up the house. Even 2 hours of rain didn't slow them down. read more

Dmtry's crew replaced old, paint chipping wooden windows which date back to the year the house was build (aka lead). I mentioned this concern to Dmtry-- I wanted to know what precautions will be taken. He assured me they do a clean job, and that everything will be protected. Day of install came: crew arrived almost on time (I counted at least 4-5 different men on site), the lead, George was very quick to jump in and began removing old windows right away. I had to stay on top of him to make sure he knew to cover exposed areas with tarp whenever something was left out. This apparently was too much of an ask. Towards the end of the work, I surveyed the apartment and found that a tall rack which I used to keep my kids snacks and other food was left completely exposed. As were the countertops, stove and just about everything else. The dust scattered over an entire apartment. For the 5-10 minutes it would take the crew to drape a tarp over the remaining furniture, it will take me hours to clean after them. If I have the courtesy to do what you've asked (and took a day off so I could fulfill) to move the furniture so the workers have a clear and efficient access, I expected reciprocation. I can't get over the carelessness of the crew and disregard of my concern and need for safety. Unsure if this is a payback for the rejection the owner felt when I didn't reciprocate his unnecessary, unwanted flirtatious advances via texts. The service is unacceptable. Cannot recommend this business. Do better Dmtry. Edit: absolute kicker, the crew installed a window 10 inches shorter to the original one. lol what?? read more
