We will not use anyone else but John because you can tell he learned how to do this very early and very well. He takes pride in his work and it shows. Thanks John!

The rep I spoke to explained the different types of doors they offer, without pressuring me at all, and offered to send someone out to give me a free estimate. In the meantime, I priced a seemingly comparable door at Home Depot, and found out that with installation, it would be about the same as one from Verona. I decided to purchase from Verona, and several weeks went by after I sent them my deposit check. I called them today to find out the status, and they said "are you going to be home this afternoon?" and were at my house in an hour. The service tech was friendly and professional, and my new door is looking great. From what the tech tells me, I made the right choice. Apparently Home Depot calls them all the time to replace the low-end doors they've installed!

Our realtor recommended Skillman, so we gave them a call, got an answering service, and then a callback a few hours later. Scheduled an appointment for the next day. I got a text when they were on their way and they showed up around 30 minutes later. After looking at the door, part of the problem was that there was some trim in the garage that should have been moved out a little bit, and it was interfering with the door. It was bad enough that you could see the wear on the paint and wood. They removed the trim, put it a little bit farther out, and then re-nailed it so that it was in the right place. We also got the tracks and springs oiled, new weatherstripping, the chain tension adjusted, the limits adjusted, and the safety sensor located to the right place. It was fantastic work and now the door movement is quiet and smooth. Will definitely call them again if and when it wears out or needs more service.
