Couldn't ask for more. I've been a client here for about 10 years. The things I like about the salon are the quality work, the friendliness of the staff, and the reasonable prices. It's also very clean and easy to schedule appointments at the day and time you want them. I can get an acrylic fill and a deluxe pedicure for $90. The leg and foot massage included in the pedicure is amazing. I see Lina for my nails and one of the other girls for my pedicures. They are all very good! Check them out!

One of the best mani-pedis I have had in Pleasanton. Technicians are so kind. I came in to get Oregon colors painted on my toes and finger nails for my son's graduation. I asked if they could try to paint an "O" on my nails. They were totally willing to do it and did a great job drawing it freehand just looking at the logo online. I will definitely be back!

It does last for over two weeks and then started chipping off. Their service is pretty good and they are friendly.

I had a manicure and full set done today after having my nails completely botched by another shop. Leena and my other tech (who's name I did not catch) did an excellent job not only in fixing my nails and giving me the birthday nails I wanted but also made my day better through conversation and their kindness. Clean spa and amazing massages. Thank you again girls for giving me the best birthday nails ever!!

Excellent service! Lina was able to squeeze me in. I called at 3ish and was able to get a same day 4:30 appointment. Showed Lina one of the sets I liked from the pictures on yelp and she gave me exactly what I wanted. In and out in an hour with gorgeous and smooth feeling nails. Lina was very patient with me and answered all my questions and told me price up front so no surprises for me. Salon is small and cozy and I was pleased that there wasn't that weird chemically smell lingering like many other salons I've been to have. Other customers are very nice as well. I'm very satisfied with my visit. I only got my nails done because I'm on winter/Christmas break from work. If I was able to get my nails done more often, I would definitely come here more often.

I began coming here because the locations I visited in Dublin were overpriced and the quality was lacking... in other words, I was overpaying for nails that were not lasting. I am so happy I found this nail salon. The nails last me a month at a time. As a single mom of two young kids, I am active and finding the time isn't always easy. Not only do they last, but the designs I ask for I get EXACTLY! I am so happy!

My friend knew about this salon and said I should try it out. I went with her and got the basic pedicure. The price is really good for what you get, you get massage with hot stone and scrub which I've seen other places charge more for. The nail polish smell is a bit strong though because the store is small and the doors weren't propped open or had good ventilation. Also not sure if they open new tools that were sanitized.

The first time I came here was with a coworker who loves this place. While they did an amazing job, they used a new cuticle cutter and cut me. They did take care of it but it was quite painful and irritating. However, my second visit was absolutely perfect. The ladies working on me chose the colors for the design I wanted and I was absolutely pleased!! The photo attached is what I just did, and the lady doing my toe nails even suggested snowflake for my big toe and hand drew them beautifully. Overall, this is definitely a great nail place, especially with how attentive they are and the amazing selection of gel colors - they have tons!! Not to mention they seem to take you right away or within 10 minutes when you walk in. And their services are quick. Even doing a shellac manicure with a design on all ten fingernails, they finished my toes and hands within an hour. read more

I have been getting pedicures for 20 years and have been searching around for the perfect spot for years. I happened to be in Pleasanton today and tried it out. My nails were a mess and I had only an hour window, but they graciously had me come in right away when I called and took care of me. The massaging pedicure chairs are awesome, the ladies completely pampered my legs and feet, and my gel manicure is perfect. The price was exceptional too! Love this place. This was my first time there. I had a 5:30 appointment but wasn't seen until about 5:45. The employees were apologetic and informed me that they were short staffed. Great friendly service walked in with my daughter end of day no appointment. They treated us like royalty. Pedicure isn't your normal pedicure. It came with the basic plus hot rocks massage. Plus a good massage. For $23 it is well worth every penny. You will not find a salon that does all this for the cost. I will come back. My new place. Thank you Tiffany. read more

I went in for a pedicure, and selected the delux one for more massage. Once my pedicure started they received more people, but they told all to wait for 10 mins. They did not have enough people to attend to the new customers and thus my pedicure for which I paid in full, was cut short not done properly. They were in a rush to finish. read more

I wanted to like this place so bad because everyone there is so friendly. Unfortunately, my nails weren't up to par. The first time I went, I got chrome nails which the girl was having difficulty doing. By the next day, the chrome had rubbed off of 7 nails. The second time, I decided to get a full set of acrylics which were beautiful and made me change my mind about this place. Until the third time when I went in for a fill. The next day, 3 of my nails broke without any aggressive movement of my hands on my part. The day after, another one broke. I decided to take off the rest (which came off way easier than they should have) and have not been back since. Very nice people, but not a nice nail job. read more

OMG!! So i've always gone to my regular nail salon and I haven't always been satisfied. I looked online at salons near me and I came across Marvelous Nails... BEST DISCOVERY EVER!! Lina is the sweetest person ever and she did a PHENOMENAL job.. I wish I could post videos of my nails. They are shaped perfectly, literally. They are all even and just how I wanted them. Definitely will be coming back to her!! She took her time and made sure every nail was perfect. They also have new nail colors and so many beautiful iridescent colors to choose from read more

Wish I could give a better review- I got the $35 pedi. The massage was ok, the work on my feet was ok- nails not shaped well. Enjoyed the wax and scrub. Toe nails chipped in less than a week. After about 8 days, looked like I needed a pedicure again. I noticed that she didn't use a lot of top coat- and it became very obvious. Everyone was nice and I was hoping to find a nice place close to my house. Wouldn't return. read more

I had bad experience yesterday and my nails turned out terribly. I was so upset and had no idea who could fix them. I saw the reviews on here and decided to take a chance since mine were so awful. I knew it would be a long shot because it was a Saturday. They actually got me in and I was so thankful for that. Anyhow, Lina did my nails and OMG the result was amazing. She knew exactly what I wanted and did a great job. She was very gentle and extremely sweet. Everyone I'm there was very friendly. The price is perfect and I can't say enough about Lina. I found this place on yelp a few months ago and they had great reviews. It's been so hard to find a decent nail tech that won't cut you, answer 101 phone calls while you're on your appointment, do shitty job and expect you to pay full price. I saw a nail design done by who is now my new nail tech Brian. I live in Oakland in 30 minutes is not too far to drive I've traveled farther (LA). I scheduled an appointment for 4 PM. I was seen at 4 PM Brian was super attentive to me listened to everything I wanted and gave me exactly what I wanted. I will be coming back to marvelous nails everyone in the shop was super sweet paid me so much attention and actually greeted me when I walked in the door. It's a cute little shop not noisy at all I've barely heard the phone ring. I highly recommend this place I had a wonderful experience I don't know what the other ladies are capable of but Brian is my go to. read more

I just came here today. The place is kind of small and simple. It wasn't the best pedicure but not the worst. The ladies there are very sweet and kind. I was offered water when i first sat down. It was for a quick pedicure and thats what i got. My pedicure was $23 total. I think it is reasonably priced. I don't think this will be my go to place, but I would come back :) Jessica did my nails! This place is amazing! I called this morning hoping to get in and they were able to accommodate me immediately! The staff is extremely service oriented and offer you a beverage as soon as you enter. My service, an acrylic fill with shellac and a color change on the toes, was done impeccably by Lina in a perfectionist manner. They have tons of colors to select from, all high quality O.P.I. And Essie brands, and they even have a huge selection of shellac color options. With a great location off Hopyard road just minutes away from my house, I have definitely found my new go-to nail salon. Highly recommended! read more

I have been serviced by Marvelous Nails for probably going on 6 years!! Jenny was amazing, and when she suddenly left, what was I to do? Well - Howie is even MORE AMAZING!!!! Yep, he is a guy, and I was skeptical, but he is the BEST!!! He is fast, and painless (I've been to some where it can hurt!) and I am so happy he is at Marvelous Nails - only on Wednesdays. The rest of the week he is in San Francisco where he works at a local salon. I think the pricing is moderate for me. It would be hard to go cheaper, and find the same satisfaction with my "pink and white". read more

They were extremely RUSHY and kept asking me every minute to pick a color, I told them please don't rush me. I then sat in the pedicure chair to start my pedicure and I also went in for gel fill. The man doing my fill came over with a wooden board and place it on my lap to start my fill, he then inclined my chair all the way up and so I could not be relaxed during my pedicure. He kept twisting my hand and telling me to relax, I told him I am and THAT HURTS, he then proceeded to ask me again to pick a color. I was over it, if they hadn't already stated my pedicure I would have walked out!!! I have never felt SO rushed, plus it wasn't like they were busy and had customers wait. I also thought the point of getting your nails done was to relax and enjoy it. I know for me it is, this is my mommy time while the hubs watches our kiddos. I also really wanted to try the chrome polish and it was an $10 and I decided to try it! Well I got my nails done on Saturday afternoon and not even 5 days later the chrome gel polish is chipping away and also my pedicure polish!! If you feel like being rushed and having your nails like the gel and polish chip away, then this is the salon for you!! read more

I came to Pleasanton to visit my mom and broke a nail during my travels and was overdue for a fill as well. I decided to try out marvelous nails after doing my usual yelp research and I was impressed! I walked in and was treated by everybody. Even though they were busy the nail tech still took her time to show me where the gel nail colors were so I could choose while I waited. They got to me within 5-10 minutes. The service was great and so was the finish product. Will definitely be coming back! read more

There is an extensive questionnaire on first visit but it's to help both you and the waxer. I generally get my brows threaded but she used soft wax and there was no skin reaction that I tend to have. My visit was near closing, so there seemed to only be 2 staff there waxing.

I came in for the first time after seeing the numerous great reviews on Yelp. My callouses have been bothering me for years and Van is the best! I highly recommend the callous treatment even if it is a few dollars extra. Van is very meticulous about her work and is very friendly. She actually makes an effort to make small talk which in my book is a plus. The shop is roomy and clean, they are located in the same plaza as Mr. Pickles. This little gem is tucked away in the corner which makes it kind of difficult to find, but trust me, it's worth looking for. I also like the fact that they sterilize all their tools in a sterilization bag instead of using a UV light like other salons. They also have Netflix streaming on their large TV and were so kind to ask me what I wanted to watch. In my opinion, you're getting a bargain for what you receive at this salon; free massage chair, entertainment, great service, free scrub treatment, and most importantly, the results are fantastic. I had a disappointing experience at Marvelous Nails during a business trip. After calling ahead and being told there were no available slots, I was surprised when they called me back just five minutes later to say they could fit me in. However, the service that followed was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I noticed I was the only one waiting despite other customers already being attended to. The older technician who helped me seemed rushed and inattentive. She didn't even ask if I wanted my nails clipped until I brought it up myself. To make matters worse, as she worked on my nails, she made a rude comment in Vietnamese about how she had to prioritize a full set for two customers who arrived after me. It was clear that she viewed my service as less important, which made me feel undervalued. The atmosphere felt unprofessional, and I left feeling like I was just another number rather than a valued customer. I will definitely not be returning to Marvelous Nails again. read more

Extremely Disappointing Nail Service. I'm very disappointed with the nail services my daughter and I received. We both got pedicures, and I also had gel polish and acrylic nails done. Unfortunately, the gel polish started chipping and peeling off within just two days, which is incredibly embarrassing as I'm attending a marriage function. I paid a significant amount for these services, including a 15% tip. The owner seemed very busy, so her assistant applied the gel polish on both of us. She only applied two coats and neglected to cover the borders of our nails, which likely contributed to the poor quality and premature chipping. read more
