I spent all of 2019 going to specialist for this and specialist for that, and I actually tried a new PCP but didn't really like him. Recently I had a knee problem and after an MRI and seeing a knee specialist it's been determined I'll need surgery to repair a detached meniscus. As a requirement to that surgery I was told I'll need a pre-op evaluation from my PCP. I have none. We'll they referred me to Dr. Paz and after a breif time spent with this guy I knew right away I had found my new PCP. Dr. Paz took time to listen to me about several issues I was having medically having nothing to do with the pre-op surgery exam I was there for and he really seemed genuine. Gave some great advice and even called me later that day asking some addditional question and giving some additional advice. Dr. Paz has a great personality and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great Dr. who actually cares about your well being. All the best, Don Clarke

I'm a new patient and he asked me my view on a topic that is best not discussed, much less with a doctor! So basically, he will decide whether or not he will care for you based on that? I have been going to Dr Franco for over a year now, and as someone with predisposition to chronic…read moreillness, I have seen many doctors and specialists in my day, and Dr Franco is the best doctor I have ever had the absolute pleasure of seeing. He is everything a doctor should be. He is well-informed on many subjects. I would know, as he and I have ran the gambit on diagnoses from autoimmune disease, STDs and STIs, cancer, mental illness, hormonal and thyroid dysfunction, virus and bacterial infections and communicable disease, and through all of it, he has shown a great understanding on these subjects. He is also not hard to get ahold of which to me is huge. While many doctors treat their practice solely as a business, I know Dr a Franco sees his practice as much more. He truly cares about his patients and their well-being, and as such, he has on multiple occasions made himself available on short notice, even with me barging into his practice once (I'm not the easiest patient in the world to deal with) and every time he has been kind, courteous, understanding and patient. I don't want to sound cheesy or like I am exaggerating, but I really feel blessed to have found Dr Franco. To me, not only has he become a doctor, but also a confidante and someone I can look up to and trust. Dr Franco, if you are reading this, thank you. You have made a very positive impact on my life. Don't ever change.

I Do Not recommend Dr. Meyerhoff! Due to his horrible diagnosis of my best friend, she has died!…read moreIt's been 3 weeks since my dearest friend has passed away and I miss her so much! My friend had been telling him for at least a year that she was in pain and that her legs felt like mush. He ordered x-rays and blood tests. After getting the results back, Dr. Meyerhoff, if you can call him a doctor, sent my friend home with a diagnosis of vitamin A deficiency. When she went in to see him, she could hardly breath and could barely walk, and he still sent her home. She had to call 911 two days after her office visit with him and she never came home again. She entered the hospital on 9/11/24 and passed away 11/5/24. She was full of cancer!!!! He even had the nerve to say her lungs were clear, her lungs were full of cancer along with her liver!!!! I wish I could give him zero stars, he doesn't deserve any! I Do Not recommend Dr. Meyerhoff!

1 Star -- Extremely Disappointing and Heartless Experience…read more My 90-year-old wheelchair-bound mother, my husband, and I have all been patients of Perlman Clinic. After what happened today, all three of us will be leaving the practice. I had an 11:00 AM appointment for my mother, but the office called and changed it to 10:40 AM, insisting she needed a 40-minute appointment. I explained that we did not need 40 minutes, but they insisted. Getting my 90-year-old mother out of the house is extremely difficult. I drove 30 minutes to pick her up, helped get her into the car, and then drove another 25 minutes to the clinic. Knowing I would be late, I called the office ahead of time to let them know. I arrived approximately 15 minutes late. My mother was still sitting in the car while I went inside to get help transferring her into a wheelchair. I explained the situation, that she was in pain and needed to see a doctor, and pleaded with them to please see her. They refused. What was most upsetting was the complete lack of compassion toward a 90-year-old, wheelchair-bound patient. The staff's response felt cold, dismissive, and aggressive. There was no attempt to accommodate the situation or show understanding of what it took to get my elderly mother to that appointment. My mother had been a patient of the medical practice Perlman took over for approximately 50 years. After decades as a patient, this is how she was treated. This is also not my first frustrating experience. I have personally waited 20-30 minutes beyond my scheduled appointment time at this practice, yet there was no flexibility when an elderly patient arrived 15 minutes late after her appointment had been changed by the office. I have also been disappointed by what I perceive as a lack of continuity and experience among some of the providers I've encountered, as well as frequent referrals to outside specialists rather than having concerns addressed directly. The front-office experience has been particularly disappointing. I have witnessed behavior that I consider unprofessional, including staff chatting about personal matters in the waiting area. Two employees, Gavin and Cezon, were particularly rude and aggressive during today's interaction. Healthcare should involve more than policies and appointment times. It should involve compassion, especially when dealing with elderly and vulnerable patients. Perlman Clinic failed my mother today. After this experience, I no longer have confidence in this practice. All three of us will be finding healthcare elsewhere.
