If we do not see a significant improvement to Graybill facilities, Sharp / Rees-Steely will be a much better option for folks needing medical services. Graybill feels like a cattle farm and IMO do not feel patients are getting the proper attention. The group needs the proper training on how to run a business. Stay away from Graybill. They do not deserve your business, and they certainly do not care if you move to a different provider. With that said, I will give Graybill 1 or 2 months to get their act together. I am not hopeful.

He was given a lot of tests which proved that he had a light case of pneumonia, low blood oxygen level, labored breathing because of fluid build-up and HEART FAILURE! He was kept in the hospital for three days. My dad was given six medications, including a diuretic for the fluid build up. He was supposed to go to his primary doctor the next day, however, that was Saturday. So he called Monday, and the doctor's office finally got him in on Wednesday! Supposedly, the hospital sent Dr. Chiang the information about the hospitalization. Dr. Chiang wouldn't look at the papers from the hospital that my dad had. After the visit, my dad was only supposed to finish his antibiotic and take one baby aspirin a day!! This is after a diagnosis of heart failure which causes fluid build up!! My dad wants a new doctor and I want a new doctor for him!!!!

They did a full work-up, but the ER Dr. said nothing was wrong with his heart and said it was indigestion, and sent him home. He continued to have chest pain throughout weekend and finally on Monday, my mother in law called the Dr. Chiang to explain his condidtion has worsened. Dr. Chiang said just take acid reducer and if gets even worse - take Tumms! He never even asked to see him in his office to evaluate him again. His pain got worse on Monday night and ended up at Palomar ER again, then on Tuesday he had 2 stents put in. While all this was happening, Dr. Chiang was unaware of his condition. He demonstrated "no follow-up" and lack of adequate care. My mother in law had to call him to tell him he had surgery! We highly discourage anyone from seeing this Dr!!

My husband and I (he only sees patients 18+) are relatively healthy people who only need a doctor for the occasional cough or flu and Dr. Lilley's office is always able to get us in quickly and takes good care of us. When I started to have more chronic issues after the birth of my son, Dr. Lilley has helped me compile the information from the specialists I've seen. And you have to love how he pulls out his iPhone to look up a particular medication that he has a question about! UPDATE: Dr. Lilley is now retired.

1 Star -- Extremely Disappointing and Heartless Experience…read more My 90-year-old wheelchair-bound mother, my husband, and I have all been patients of Perlman Clinic. After what happened today, all three of us will be leaving the practice. I had an 11:00 AM appointment for my mother, but the office called and changed it to 10:40 AM, insisting she needed a 40-minute appointment. I explained that we did not need 40 minutes, but they insisted. Getting my 90-year-old mother out of the house is extremely difficult. I drove 30 minutes to pick her up, helped get her into the car, and then drove another 25 minutes to the clinic. Knowing I would be late, I called the office ahead of time to let them know. I arrived approximately 15 minutes late. My mother was still sitting in the car while I went inside to get help transferring her into a wheelchair. I explained the situation, that she was in pain and needed to see a doctor, and pleaded with them to please see her. They refused. What was most upsetting was the complete lack of compassion toward a 90-year-old, wheelchair-bound patient. The staff's response felt cold, dismissive, and aggressive. There was no attempt to accommodate the situation or show understanding of what it took to get my elderly mother to that appointment. My mother had been a patient of the medical practice Perlman took over for approximately 50 years. After decades as a patient, this is how she was treated. This is also not my first frustrating experience. I have personally waited 20-30 minutes beyond my scheduled appointment time at this practice, yet there was no flexibility when an elderly patient arrived 15 minutes late after her appointment had been changed by the office. I have also been disappointed by what I perceive as a lack of continuity and experience among some of the providers I've encountered, as well as frequent referrals to outside specialists rather than having concerns addressed directly. The front-office experience has been particularly disappointing. I have witnessed behavior that I consider unprofessional, including staff chatting about personal matters in the waiting area. Two employees, Gavin and Cezon, were particularly rude and aggressive during today's interaction. Healthcare should involve more than policies and appointment times. It should involve compassion, especially when dealing with elderly and vulnerable patients. Perlman Clinic failed my mother today. After this experience, I no longer have confidence in this practice. All three of us will be finding healthcare elsewhere.
