I recently switched to this dentist office and I have zero regrets! All of the staff in the front are super friendly and professional they always explain the cost before proceeding with the work. I've been going with Dr.Lee and his assistant Yareli, they both are great at what they do, very gentle and friendly. I've never had an issue with waiting for my appointment like in other dental offices. Highly recommended to ask for Dr.Lee and his assistant for a good experience. read more

Made an appointment at this practice, and all of the communication up to the day of the appointment was that I had an appointment at "Dr. Wong's office". Then well into the appointment, once the dental hygienist was done cleaning, the dental hygienist announced to me that my examination would be done "by Dr. Lee", a dentist of whom I had never heard up until that moment. This unknown Dr. Lee recommended I extract a mobile tooth; when I tried to inquire what the advantages were of extracting the tooth rather than just waiting for it to come out by itself, he brushed off my questions and walked away. I waited for the tooth to come out, which it did painlessly ten months later, and saved myself the pain and expense of extraction. read more

I went here today for an exam, took in copies of my exrays and the dentist seemed to be very confused I told him I wanted another opinion because previous dentist have not done my dental work correctly, resulting in me losing teeth. The dr didn't finish the exam and said he's going to pass on working on my mouth. A complete waste of time, I told him I'd pay to get exrays at his office if that would help, he still passed on me. Don't waste your time here if you need work done that's not simple read more

Everyone of the Wong team is just great. I have been going there since 2015. I've referred a lot of people. Recently ,one of the 'family' dentists retired. Today, the team they hired temporarily to fill in, was excellent..very thorough cleaning, etc. and exam. read more

We've had our dental work for our family here for over two decades Marty Wong, and Stephen Wong are probably two of the best dentists in Northern California they are very friendly and treat you like family. Dr. Martin Wong and Wong Family Dentistry are fantastic! I needed a dentist badly and suffered in need of a tooth extraction and with gum disease for 2 weeks as I looked for someone I could trust. I recently lost my job and really needed help. Fortunately, I found great dentists in "Wong Family Dentistry" and know I have to keep them. He booked me as an emergency appointment and I needed it. The dentist (Martin) was outstanding. His demeanor was calm and comforting allowing me to relax a bit. He was detailed as he explained everything I needed to know up front. He was patient and answered all of my fearful and curious questions. I felt zero pain and was very impressed that he clearly kept an eye on my reactions to avoided any discomfort. He took his time and was kind. As I sat in his chair I no longer worried and fell into a state of comfort and trust. I felt respected and was given outstanding care. His hands were gentle and the procedure was easy. He was nice enough to take an extra step and cleaned teeth in need. The entire staff was friendly and professional. Trust is so important in a dentist and this office has mine. I was so pleased that I actually tipped him! "Wong Family Dentistry" has my full and enthusiastic praise. I highly recommend them. They are all good people and marvelous professionals. They have my gratitude and thanks! read more

I have always been scared to go to the dentist. Going to Dr Martin has really helped me get over my fears. I have know him for years and he is kind and gentle. He doesn't make you feel bad about your teeth. He's gentle. I highly recommend him and everyone at Wong dentistry. read more

This is a very personable, professional office. They took me as a dental emergency patient and handled my situation (rotted, exposed wisdom tooth) promptly. The whole process took less than an hour and the extraction happened in 90 seconds! The office is modern, clean and as you sit in the dental chair, you have a wonderful, wide-open view of the trees and sky outside. Don't hesitate to give this office your trust. read more

I have patronized Martin D Wong, since the mid-nineties. Super excellent. My main reason, pain, of which I haven't had to concern myself with, since then. Super nice! read more

Love love love the Wong brothers dentistry. They are the best dentists I've ever had! I love that Dr. Wong remembers me when I come in and asks for updates about my life, and even though my life isn't very interesting he always loves hearing about it. He's so caring and detail-oriented. And always so friendly! Truly a family dentistry that makes me feel right at home. Fair and honest with prices. I've had both doctors and they're both awesome. Easy to get appointments too. Front desk staff is kind and helpful as well. They have a parking lot, which is always a win in the Bay Area. read more

this is an update to my last review: i want to thank dr. marty's/dr. stephen's staff: alyssa, linda, kannalin and carmen. these women are so supportive and make my visits to a dental office easier and more comfortable. and.....that's a big comfort to scaredy cat me. thank you all for being there for your patients. read more

From beginning to end the experience was great. Dr. Marty and all the office staff are incredibly friendly and easy to work with. They take their time listening to your concerns and are always accommodating of any fears. I look forward to my next visit. read more

I love these dentists! Maybe I am a little biased because I grew up with their kids, and I know their family... but I highly recommend them. They are so friendly and very kind when it comes to my pearly whites. This dentistry is definitely a family business and considers their customers to be a part of that family. Whenever I call in to schedule an appointment, the receptionist never has to ask me to spell my last name. That is a plus in my book! And that is because my last name is a little annoying to spell. They also ask which dentist I prefer, which is nice, but I honestly don't mind either. They are both great. I usually pick the one that is available the day I am free. I am one of those people that like to come early when it comes to appointments. There was one time I came at least thirty minutes early and Dr. Wong brought me in and updated my x-rays to kill some time. I personally hate cleanings because flossing is something I definitely need to do more often, but after that horrible part, I feel a lot better when they tell me I don't have any cavities. After your appointment, they send you off with a little goodie bag filled with a toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash and of course... floss. Just a heads up! Their office is located on the second or third floor -- I can't quite remember. But I definitely recommend to take the stairs. The elevator in that building is not trustworthy and it is very, very, very slow. Oh! And parking can be a bit of a hassle sometimes. So be prepared! read more

We live in Antioch. We drive all the way to San Pablo to see Dr. S. Wong. My spouse sees Dr. Marty Wong. Both Dentists and their Staff are professional and personable. I look at how the clean and sterile areas look when I walk in. Sterility of dental instruments is of prime importance to me! Their work area is clean and I see that the staff sanitizes equipment after every use. We promise Doc.. to floss.. regularly. See you in 6 months! :-D read more

My family have been going to Dr. Martin Wong for over 20 years. He is extremely accommodating and the best dentist. I recommend him to anyone who needs a dentist. After breaking a crown and getting an infection, I was desperately looking for a dentist in my area to help alleviate the pain. I found Dr. Wong on Yelp and after calling several other dentists, he was the only one that was available the same day and was affordable for me as I currently do not have dental insurance. They were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly through the whole process. They took x-rays, recommended extracting the tooth and set up an appointment for the next day. The extraction went by smoothly and even though Dr. Wong had to do a bit of surgery to get it all out, he only charged me for a simple extraction. It was probably the best dentist experience I have ever had. I highly recommend Dr. Wong for anyone who is looking for great services at competitive prices. I am definitely returning here for all my dental needs in the future! read more

I've been a patient since the early 90s (maybe at 6 years old?). I'm 36 years old now and still go to this dentist. Fantastic service. No aggressive upsell. Clean my teeth twice a year and I'm good. Several years ago, I moved to Sacramento and tried a new dentist. That was a mistake. I vowed never to do that again and always travel the 70+ miles to get my dental cleaning from Dr. Martin Wong (or his brother). Even when my (old) work dental insurance didn't cover Dr. Wong's service, I opted to pay the cleaning fee out-of-pocket, instead of using the insurance to go to another dentist. My current workplace has insurance that covers Dr. Wong's place, so I'm all good now. Long story short - highly recommended. read more

Dr. Martin is the best dentist I have ever had. Every time I visit, he always makes sure to take his time and explain what is going on with my teeth. It is obvious that he genuinely cares about the wellbeing of his patients and I feel very well taken care of. His office is a little out of the way for me but I trust Dr. Martin and his staff so much, I am willing to travel the extra miles to visit him. Dr. Martin and his staff are so wonderful and I highly recommend Dr. Martin for any dental needs. read more

Even though my daughter has Denti-cal and can be seen at many other dentist offices for free, we found there is no comparison to the care and superb treatment she receives from Dr. Wong. The facility is state-of-the-art, clean and serene. The staff is friendly, supportive, professional and thoughtful and the wait time has never been more than TWO minutes. Best of all is Dr. Wong himself. He is patient, kind, professional and sincere and his rates are more than competitive. My wife and I highly and wholeheartedly endorse Dr. Wong, by far, the best dentist we have ever been too! read more

Dr. Martin Wong has been my dentist for the past 10 years. I went to his office after seeing another dentist who advised me that I needed a root canal and crown on my tooth. The other dentist gave me 2 options, either do the root canal and crown or have the tooth pulled!! Not very good options. I went in to see Dr Martin for a second opinion. He said that he would try to save my tooth from the root canal or removal. He said that he couldn't guarantee that I wouldn't need a root canal in the future, but he would try his best. It's been 10 years and I still have my tooth and it's doing fine!! I am so happy to have Dr Martin as my dentist and would recommend him to anyone. read more

I have been coming to Dr. Martin Wong/Steve since I was 12. He is very patient and does great work. I have tried other covered dentist and nobody else is as good as him. They are also super clean. read more

Dr Marty Wong deserves way more than 5 stars. A zillion stars. He has been my dentist for more than a decade. I'm sorry I didn't write a Yelp review sooner! He's the type of dentist who truly cares about his patients. He's "old school" where he takes time to ask how you're doing, how's your family. Not like today's factory-run dentist. Only interested in inflating your treatment plan to use every cent before next years "refill." When Dr Marty discusses treatment plans, it's not about the cost. Like you have to get this done now, or you'll regret-it-scare-tactic. Although, I've moved further inland. He's still worth the drive. In the end, you're getting quality, first class patient care experience and the staff are exceptionally wonderful. read more

Dr.wong has always given me great care when I come in. He always tries to save me time and money. His staff is always friendly and even my children enjoy going here! I started seeing Dr.wong after needing an extraction that most dentists wouldn't touch. I was referred to oral surgery twice. Dr.wong extracted the tooth for half the price and even personally called me twice to see how it was healing. This is the best Dentist around! read more

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Steve and Dr. Martin Wong for over 20 years. We retired and in 2001 we moved to Redding Ca. One thing we did not leave behind was our dentist.. Although the trip to the office is 3 hours away we won't go anywhere else for our dental needs. They are kind, caring and in tune to all our needs. They are also affordable. In my younger years I had terrible experiences with the dentists which caused a life long fear of dentists. That changed when we started with the Wong brothers. I no longer have the white knuckle reaction to the dentist chair. Another plus I have noticed is the reaction of the children who come for appointments. I have never heard one of them upset and they always seem to walk out happy with their new balloon. Both Dr's are younger than me so they have my husband and myself as patients forever. Our daughter moved to San Francisco from socal and she is now happily seeing the Dr's. Three hours drive is worth it for the piece of mind and care we receive. read more

My old dentist retired and it's been about 4 years since my last visit. I have total dentistphobia and I tend to really stress when it comes to going to the dentist so the task of finding a new one was huge. I tried two other highly recommended dentists on Yelp but we just didn't hit it off. Then I called Dr Wong's office and it was the first place that did not ask me about the money nor the insurance. I told them my case and they were so nice that I made a consultation with Dr Wong. Dr Wong is amazing, he's so calm that he emits this tranquility and I immediately felt calm and not so stressed. I have a small mouth and he's very gentile, thoughtful and informative. Every one of his staff is sweet, very nice and supportive! I liked them so much I made an appointment that afternoon (I was lucky there was a cancellation) to get my teeth cleaned with Connie. These people are so nice, she never made me feel bad that I didn't floss my teeth very much nor that I waited so long... Dr Wong gave me his treatment plan and even though one of my tooth is loose, he thinks we can save it and not pull it like the others thought. Honestly I like that idea much better! I don't have insurance and I pay for all of my dental work. Dr Wong's office is very affordable and offer several options, they are more than willing to work with you. I was so impressed that I just had a root canal done this morning, I did the nitrous and it was pretty much a breeze! For me Dr Wong will be my dentist forever, I actually asked him if he had plans on retiring any time soon since I don't want to have to do this again!! I don't think I'll ever be that stressed out about going to the dentist ever again with Dr Wong and his staff! read more

Everyone is always so nice and pleasant. Very professional and at the same time you feel that you are more than a customer to everyone.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Martin Wong for about 15 years. We love him so much , that even though we moved to Clovis Ca (31/2 hours away ) we continue to go to the Bay Area for our dental needs. Dr. Martin even does his own teeth cleaning which I like. He is very gentle and his costs are very reasonable. He gave me a novacane shot and it was over before I knew I had it. I didn't even feel it. He does not press you to have unnecessary treatments as some dentists do either. The office is pristine and the office staff are very friendly too. read more
