My dad needed three root canal treatments and was in a tremendous amount of pain, but thanks to Dr. Yeh and her staffs, he's pain-free and good as new. My dad doesn't speak English very well (just some basic words), and I wasn't there to help with the translation, but Dr. Yeh and her staffs were incredible in treating him despite the language barrier. My dad is very happy and grateful for Dr. Yeh's work. He didn't need to take the prescribed pain medication after the first procedure (2 root canals) because, according to him, he didn't even feel much and was surprised when she was done - so just normal Advil did the work. That's how highly skilled she is in providing efficient work and painless procedures to her clients. Next is the cost. Despite how highly skilled she is, her fees are reasonable compared to professionals at her level. Dr. Yeh will always be our first choice when it comes to this type of work in the future. When I agreed to a hybridge procedure - replacing all top teeth with an implant - I did not know that - the permanent hybridge is weaker than my natural teeth, 2- that I can't to eat all the foods that I could eat with dentures, 3- that the permanent hybridge is more uncomfortable than dentures, 4- that it's extremely difficult to clean the space between the permanent appliance and my mouth, 5- that I now need to wear a mouthguard at night, 6-that my mouth is still sore after three months 7- that my speech is affected. In addition, during the surgery, I told Dr. Yeh four times that my lip was caught under the appliance. She did not believe me. I finally freed most of my lip, and she got the last bit out the next day. The roof of my mouth was swollen when she removed the sutures, so she poked my with the tips of her clippers as she removed the stitches. This hurt a lot. After she was done, I hurt so much I was woozy, so she had me walk out the back door instead of through the waiting area. I made my way back into the waiting area and sat for a half hour until I felt I could drive safely. I don't trust what she says. For a starter, her telephone greeting always tells you that you are first in line in a queue. Her information was different from the online info on the hybridge site. read more

Let me start off this review and let you know that I am the last person who wants to go to the dentist. Every time I go I always have major issues with my teeth. I will say in my 55 years I have met one of the most gentle and professional dentist I have ever seen today. For the first time of my 55 years one of the worst things that I hate when I go to a dentist office is feeling the needle poke. That is when they numb my mouth I just cannot stand it might as well scratch my fingers on the chalkboard. For the first time I've never even felt the need of both my gums. This dentist is very professional. This office is very professional and very clean and this dentis is very good at what she does the least intrusive root canal I have ever had and it was done in a very reasonable time. I've never had a root canal and was not happy about needing one. I was referred to Dr. Yeh and she was amazing. She made sure I wasn't in pain and was comfortable during the entire procedure. She and her staff were ultra friendly. I needed to have my tooth looked at a few days later and they had me come in immediately without waiting. See x-ray I added to this review of teeth 14 and 15. This doctor did two root canals for me in the last three years. Neither tooth was in bad shape. They both hurt now. Professional opinions (including Dr. Yeh's) is that I am likely to lose tooth 15, the first tooth she worked on, due to a bacterial infection coming from a supposedly cleaned and sealed area of the root. It's costing a small fortune next week to have Dr. Yeh's work on that tooth redone by another specialist (edit: I am now in month four of my new endodontist trying to save this tooth). Prospects for the second tooth are not good either. Just look at the xray I posted. That tooth's root canal is a MESS. There is an overfill blob which I can feel. The root filling is broken and jagged. There is extrusion of filling through the teeth into the gums. A remark made by another endodontist was "if my students saw this work, they would lose their minds." See attached xray. Tooth 14 holds on a new bridge. If I lose the tooth, I lose the bridge, and I'll need implants, Dr. Yeh's specialty. Probably FOUR very expensive implants, which insurance doesn't cover. Dr. Yeh offered to re-do her work on tooth 15 (originally done a couple years ago) but I was not sure that was a good or smart idea, as the other tooth she worked on more recently was hurting as well. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. She refuses to pay the insurance company or my new endodontist (who does NOT do implants after screwing up root canals) for the repair of her work. So now my insurance is maxed out and I can't get the two crowns I really need until next year. AAAARRRGGGHHHH. What a racket. Her chair-manner is brusque and impatient. These root canals have caused nothing but trouble. The office was pretty. Staff was nice. I recommend going to an endodontist that does NOT do implants. read more

We had a wonderful experience here with an emergency extraction. The receptionist, Daisy, was friendly and funny and really put my partner at ease. Dr. Yeh was also awesome. She was clear and supportive as she shared the options for how to move forward, and the whole team helped us understand how our different options would work out with our insurance. My front tooth started getting sensitive to hot and cold so my dentist, Dr. Nuttle, recommended Dr. Yeh for an evaluation of a possible root canal. Turned out that the root was dying even though the tooth itself had no cavity. She recommended a root canal soon before the canal becomes fully calcified making it harder to perform a root canal in the future. Dr. Yeh's office is computerized including all x-rays so she was able to display the problem tooth and is able to map out a plan for her work prior to actually performing the operation. She made sure that I fully understand the work required prior to starting the work. The front office also called my dental insurance to ensure that I will not be surprised with my out-of-pocket cost later on. More on this later. The procedure itself was uneventful. Dr. Yeh was quick and methodical, always checking up on my comfort level. She prescribed antibiotics and painkillers but I was instructed to only take antibiotics if there is pain after 24 hours. All in all, it went as well as any root canal would. I have not had a lot of root canals but compared to my prior procedures, Dr. Yeh's procedure had the least amount of discomfort, the most methodical and quickest by far. Since the root canal, I've had ZERO pain. The tooth is saved which is good because it is a front tooth. Hot/cold sensitivity is gone as well. After a few weeks I received a bill from the office stating that my insurance did not cover as much as they originally said they would. What that means is my out-of-pocket has more than doubled from the original estimate. I called Dr. Yeh's front desk and voiced my concern regarding not just the discrepancy with the original estimate but the fact that I will now pay greater than twice the originally discussed out of pocket cost. Front desk was sympathetic and they did explain that they did call the insurance prior to the procedure but unfortunately, an estimate is not a guarantee of what the insurance will actually pay. I then discussed the possibility of sharing the out-of-pocket cost so that I will pay 50% of the remaining amount and that their office will write-off the remaining 50%. Dr. Yeh agreed and they ended up sending me an updated bill. I'm sure other dental offices would have worked out the same write-off. Certainly offices where I have built a relationship over several years would have done so for me. But I've one procedure done by Dr. Yeh. And yet they were able to work with me to drop the bill so that it is closer to the original work estimate. I hope no one has to go through a root canal. But if there is a need, I highly recommend Dr. Yeh. read more

I went to Yehs office 15 -20 years ago... I try to forget... by a referal by my dentist of a bone infection that she filled above my front tooth. Should have been a clue to her wierdness that she brought in me in to chastise me in a board room days before the treatment with her assistant sitting beside me like my lawyer for not finishing all the antibiotics she gave me...4 left in bottle....made me sign papers to that extent. Rude nasty and agressive woman grabbed my face and pulled it toward her and screamed at me to not move during the procedure...did this 2 times because I did the horrible...swallowed. She's lucky I didn't punch her...and I'm a woman. Went to work and talked to a customer for a second about her conduct...he came back in with his wife who's crying over her treatment and disgusting behavior of Dr Yeh towards her..had to comfort her and told her to do what she had to to get out of the rest of her treatment and that there's more Drs out there that could finish up on her....made her feel better knowing she didnt have to go back to that insulting degrading behavior of a so called professional ... my dentist that recommended her...only cuz she was close... was outraged that she would touch me and berate me like that and was glad to hear me tell her what had gone on because she would never refer her patients to her again. In response to the doctor's reply: Shame on you! I am offended that you would speak such an untruth. I have never reviewed anyone before because who has the time? I felt so passionate about how poorly you and your office handled me that I was compelled to share the information. In no uncertain terms did your office manager try to contact me or discuss this issue in any way. I wrote a letter stating my concern and I received a letter back, PROMPTLY. In the letter, your office took no responsibility for your office's error. It placed blame elsewhere and demanded payment and suggested installments if I had problems paying the lump sum. Again, this was a terrible business practice over a few hundred dollars. My current dentist office manager is competent enough to contact my insurance to ensure I have no out of payment expense. If I do, they let me know. This is a commmon practice. Again, your office assured me TWICE, that I was fully covered as I was that concerned. Please do not try to say your office made an attempt to make this right. That is a lie. You wanted your money. That is the truth! Awful place! The woman who started my emergency exam did not read the 20 pages i had to fill out and re asked tons of stupid questions. No way does she have any credentials for working in an Endodontics office. The Doctor herself was a JOKE! Didn't speak one word to me. When i asked a question it went like this "So you are saying i have to suffer" Doctor-"Please advise that patient asked doctor if she has to suffer. Advise the patient, no she does not have to suffer." Then the lady typed it and i had to read it off the screen. Her bedside manner is HORRIBLE. She speaks to people like they are 5 years old. In fact, since she went poking and prodding, she made my issue worse and offered no help! DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! It is not only torture, but you will leave suffering worse than when you walked in! After having a second opinion, it turns out Dr. Yeh was very very wrong and was willing to charge me for a full root canal when that isn't even what was happening with the tooth! read more

Dr. Yeh and her staff were amazing thru my treatment. My anchor tooth to my bridge had fractured. It had a root canal by Dr. Yeh five years prior. At that time it was explained to me that future fractures could happen to root canal treated teeth. I am a very bad grinder and do not follow thru with wearing my night guard and watching what I eat. Anyway needless to say Dr, Yeh explained my treatment options in detail, I chose to go with an extraction and a sinus lift to prepare my mouth for two implants. I am a very nervous dental patient. I have to say Dr. Yeh is absolutely amazing & a life saver! My son is 11yrs old, never had a cavity or any dental work besides cleaning in his life. She took pictures before and after the procedures and they were beautifully done. She called me at home to check in. I did not need to take pain killers after the procedure. I though Dr. Yeh very professional and care about her patients very much. The office staff were friendly and helpful. I have no problem with my insurance at all. I have had quite a bit of work done by Dr. Yeh, from root canals to several dental implants (some of which were somewhat complicated, needing more than one surgery) and found her to be very gentle and explaining each step she is about to take making you feel very comfortable. I am a patient that really needs to be told what is coming next, no surprises, and Dr. Yeh respects this need. I was also impressed by the lack of pain during and post surgery, some swelling and tiny bit of bruising - but I had a lot done and did not even need a pain pill, just a tylenol a couple of times. I must also add that Dr. Yeh's staff is excellent. First I'll admit not the best bedside manner but who cares if you get through a fractured, abscessed tooth extraction, bone graft and stitches and literally didn't feel a moment of pain. I have a very small mouth and after a two hour appoinment no corner mouth sores, no aching jaw. I am giving the highest-possible rating because they delivered top notch root canal treatment for my 10-year old daughter who is extremely anxious regarding any medical and dental procedure (she has required sedation in the past). First. Claudia at the front desk is fantastic. From my first referral call to encouragement in the office to the follow up call the day after the procedure, she was very thorough and clear in providing information and was nice. It goes a long way and set a great tone for the root canal appointment. When we first arrived, Dr. Yeh's assistant Daisy took my daughter back for X-rays and my daughter got upset. When Dr. Yeh realized how incredibly anxious my daughter was, she stopped doing the prep/xray review, called me into a separate room and reviewed options to proceed with me in a calm and caring manner. At no time did I feel rushed to move forward quickly to accommodate other appointments - the entire staff took the time to make sure that my daughter and I were comfortable moving forward which we did. Dr. Yeh and Daisy prepped my daughter and chatted with her both about the upcoming procedure and summer vacation schedules. I sat in during most of the actual procedure. I was super impressed to see Dr. Yeh handle not only the complex dental procedure (at least it looked complex to me) but also continually manage my daughter's pain and comfort level. My daughter had no pain or anxiety following the root canal procedure - once the anesthesia wore off, she was fine which I can't say after my own root canal a few years ago.
