From my first phone call to Crystal explaining why I was…read morelooking for a new dentist, to the efficiency of new patients forms emailed (less direct contact during COVID-19), to discussions of wether or not I should get prior records to my first visit, I could not have felt more positive about being a person that was cared for and not a faceless number. Welcoming, professional and compassionate at every encounter. A day before my appointment I was emailed a Covid questionnaire, and my temperature was taken upon arrival. Staff wearing masks and face shields. A very efficiency run practice. Crystal who answered the phone also did my x-rays, the doctor also took photos of my teeth, did a full examination, went over my hot spots with suggestions and treatment plans, and he did my cleaning. The dental assistant was in there assisting with water and suction while the doctor used the ultrasound to clean, picks for under the gums and polished. Quick, painless (always checked to see if I was comfortable and could raise my hand to indicate sensitivity) and professional. Dr. Tsang and I had a frank discussion about my gums and overall teeth health and I left with a plan, follow up visit and equipment to better care for my oral health. Your parting gift bag does not include a .50 generic toothbrush and floss, but a spin brush for better gum health, floss and toothpaste. He also suggested using an air floss which I purchased from him for less than Target prices (I checked). Dr. Tsang and his office are true professionals who care for your health and treat you as a person and not a wallet. Their cash client discounts are significant and much better than my prior who only gave me 10% discount. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Thank you Dr. Tsang, Crystal and staff!

My bad I didn't ask enough on my first two visits but the concerns have been resolved in today's visit. Receptionists and dental assistants are still very nice, helpful & thoughtful. Dr. Tsang tried his very best and did a great job on fixing the diastema and reshape without numbing. This time I asked lot of questions, make sure there was no miscommunication and on the same page before the fixing processes. Dr. was willing to explain and communicate, which ended up I am satisfied with the results, no pain, that matters the most in a dental visit - GENTLE WITH NO PAIN!

In fact, due to the recent shake up of so many dentists not taking Delta Dental, we moved our kids there too. So now the whole family goes. I basically just go for cleanings... twice a year despite the recommended 3 times.. (the third one would not be covered. Penny-wise and pound foolish, perhaps, but two times in a year has done me well so far.) My only gripe is a minor one. I like continuity and having the same person do my cleanings. I had Tui at first and then it was another one whose name I forget but she did it perhaps twice so I was growing accustomed to her. Last time I went, they had a person who was, per what she told me, a temporary person. She kinda rushed it, with no nice comments or feedback regarding my flossing. About which.. I can't remember if I mentioned it but their previous comments gave me a complex about my flossing. So I switched to that Oral-B charcoal and mint where the floss is black. And it is so satisfying to floss with it and actually see the plaque that is scraped away. It shows up against the black thread of the floss. To be candid, I was waiting for some props on results of the improved flossing and felt a bit deflated when they never came. Oh well... first world problems as they say. Of course, nothing is perfect and the best evidence of my satisfaction level is my continued and expanding business with the doctor. Recently, I thought I might need a root canal. He was extra careful and referred me to a specialist to be extra sure that I didn't need it at this time. I found his office on Yelp and I can say I have no complaints about the dental work. In the beginning, the front desk staff seemed to have a lot of turnover but recently it runs like a well oiled machine. They're popular so I suggest you make appointments in advance unless you have an emergency.

My son recognized him as a dentist who made a visit to his school to talk about teeth and it's very easy to see why he's so popular with the little ones. But I've never had such a difficult time to schedule/reschedule an appointment before. I always feel like I have to take time off work or pull my son out of school or wait another month or more. Their hours are terrible. The 7am Fridays would be great if we lived closer but we'd have to leave even earlier to get through traffic and then there's no guarantee we'd be finished in an hour to get to school on time. 2pm closure on Fridays is crazy. And they close at 3pm on Tuesdays and 5pm on the other days. They are always booked solid so good luck if your child gets sick.
