Mark Manoukian and his team are the best of the best! I have unfortunately had to get manyyyy root canals, and every single time they are fast to get me in (same day usually!), and so incredibly kind and helpful. I go in there in major pain and leave feeling alive again. Between my dentist, Darya Gaphapour, and Mark Manoukian, I have never felt so held and cared for by medical professionals. I am eternally grateful to you for helping turn my misery into happiness every single time, I love you guys so much I can't ever express it enough to you!!!! Thank you a million times over, if you are in need of a root canal, you can thank me later, lol. There is no one better than Mark and his team!!!!!!! read more

I saw Dr. Manoukian last week and it was such a positive experience. I had a root canal once before by him and he and the office were just as kind and helpful as the last time. The 3-D scan revealed complications and he patiently and clearly explained the details of what was going on with my tooth and the options I have to treat it. He is so knowledgeable and his calm demeanor was so pleasant to be around it helped to relieve my anxiety. I would highly recommend Dr. Manoukian for any endodontic work!! read more

Dr. Manoukian handled this big baby with excellent care and communication. He got me in on short notice, explained each step in the process, had a calm demeanor, and did not make me feel shamed for the state of my teeth. I recommend without hesitation. read more

Very caring and professional. Expert in his field. Responsive to patient needs. Staff positive and friendly. Highly recommend him.

Dr. M is excellent. He is a skilled communicator, puts his patients at ease, and does great work. My tooth problem was a little tricky. As a surgeon, I appreciate a meticulous proceduralist. Best root canal ever. read more

During my consultation he learned and then explained in perfect detail why a root canal procedure would be futile and a waste of time and money. In effect, he explained his way out of taking a lot of my money. And then, he personally walked me (and my wheelchair) over to the next building to hand me off to the oral surgeon. Very personable and ethical. I have no hesitation about recommending him. read more

Ok, add me the five star list. Wonderful bedside (chairside? manner. Truly painless complex tooth work. Great result also. Would go back to him in New York minute! read more

Dr. Manoukian is the real deal. I really like this guy. You can tell during the consult, this Doctor is highly knowledgeable and skilled. I have been to him before, so I know I'm about to get 5 star service - - - while he gets my 5 star review. From the wonderful Jamie at the front desk making sure I am comfortable checking in, to keeping my mind off my pain with great conversation, I was seen right away. Not only did I have a cracked tooth which caused horrible pain, but it got infected. Ouch. I wasn't sure during COVAD-19 if I would even be able to be seen. But yes. Some professions are our local heroes like this doctor, using all the protective measures go me in quickly and evaluated. Since my tooth was cracked/infected and needed extraction, he got me in with an another excellent Doctor right next door a couple hours later. Everything went as planned. Smooth as silk. As always I love my conversations with the Doctor. He's fun and interesting to listen too. TY Dr. Mark and Jamie for helping me. "Pain-B-Gone." Perfect. read more

Dr. Manoukian was AMAZING. I have one root canal and it was done in 2002. I've been having problem with it due to the crown having an open margin and of course decay happened. This past year it got worse to the point I was preparing myself for extraction and just place an implant cause I did not know if it was still restorable. My dentist recommended to see an endodontist, so I did. Got an appointment here, and they were able to see me right away. Dr. Manoukian redid my root canal. I am very thankful to him that he was able to save my tooth. He was very gentle and caring doctor. He is COOL too. Coolest doctor I know. I would definitely come here if I need another root canal. The staff are very nice too. read more

I had my root canal done by DR Manoukian. I can't say enough good things about my experience. I was able to get an appointment right away. I was extremely nervous going in, but he quickly put all my anxiety to rest. He explained everything he was doing throughout the whole procedure. He was very gentle with the anesthesia. There was very little pain. The whole office was very professional. I highly recommend Dr Manoukian and Marin Endodontics. read more

I took the gamble based on the reviews and glad that I did. Dr. Manoukian is the REAL DEAL ... look no further! From the very beginning it was exemplary service, even the staff (e.g. Kelsey) have a caring nature as Dr. Manoukian. He is an earth-angel; superior skills, gentle touch, kind and calm demeanor and it's all GENUINE. He explained everything throughout the entire process. He also has a conservative approach, meaning he won't do a procedure unless necessary. Simply he is not billing hungry. I left as a happy, well informed and satisfied patient and that's a tall order to achieve. ... so worth the 30 mile drive. Highly recommend Dr. Manoukian's practice that has integrity and committed to patient satisfaction. read more

I am someone that has a huge phobia of going to the dentist and I had gotten a referral for a root canal to Dr. Manoukian and he's was the best! He was so gentle and nice and he made sure that I knew what was happening throughout my root canal procedure while also making sure I was calm and comfortable. I did not have any pain and it was the best experience I have ever had throughout my life. read more

My first root canal, and I would 10/10 recommend Dr. Mark Manoukian. He was so informative and approachable, and made me way less nervous than I was going in. You can tell he really really knows his stuff. Highly recommend! read more

Dr. Manoukian is exactly what the other 5 star reviewers state. Friendly, and somehow, he does make you calmer! His knowledge and tremendous skill as a surgeon is incredibly impressive. He is very serious and focused. He did a difficult root canal for me and I literally had no pain afterwards....the next day I forgot I actually had the procedure. The staff in his office are all professional, accommodating and nice. Janet D. read more

Was referred by my general dentist and the experience from start to finish was abysmal. There were billing issues that had to be resolved and it was the mistake of the office. They never once apologized, or at the very least acknowledged it. Then Manoukian did his thing. It ended up being a failed root canal. But what was so insulting was how I was told to wait after the procedure in the waiting room and that he would finish up with instructions. Prior to that, while I was still in the chair during the procedure, he okayed a patient being fit in for a consult. After waiting for 45 minutes, I finally approached his receptionist to remind him that I was waiting. He came out and basically said nothing. He clearly forgot. No apology. He's way to full of himself. read more

This guy is very skilled. Not all dentists are gifted with the ability to work in your mouth with the nimble dexterity that Dr Manoukian does. He has a great chair side manner, very professional. My last visit, he actually sent me away. He said if it bothered me down the road, he'd take care of it. No unnecessary work to be done. I say give him a try !!! read more

I don't usually write reviews on much of anything, but I have to in this case. I recently was in need of a root canal and was referred to Dr. Manoukian. My experience was incredible. He was a great conversationalist is the sense he explained things clearly, and in a common sense way. Things went just as he explained and his staff was great. Should I ever need another root canal he my go to guy, but until the need arises, I highly recommend him. I will be doing that to all my friends. read more

Dr. Manoukian is incredibly nice, clear, and skilled--so that the procedure was virtually painless! I didn't even have pain afterwards. He's got a great chair-side manner, explains everything, and made what could have been an awful experience not bad at all. His staff was also super-nice and accommodating about splitting the cost into three payments. At $1,800, it's not cheap--but it also could not have been a better experience--so you clearly get what you pay for! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Manoukian if you need a root canal procedure. read more

Nobody enjoys a root canal, but Dr. Manoukian and his staff made my experience memorable for their care and professionalism. He explains things clearly, with empathy, and works very efficiently with impeccable results. If I have to do it again (please God no), I'll absolutely want Dr. Manoukian. read more

Dr. Manoukian is a real one. He is kind, caring, friendly, and most importantly a skilled endodontist. He made me feel safe and comfortable by throughly explaining the entire process of my root canal. His office staff are friendly, accommodating, and pleasant to work with. The office is immaculate and organized. He even let me request music to be played during my procedure. I have trauma around dental procedures but I felt completely at ease with Dr. Manoukian. By far the best dental experience I have ever had. read more

Mark literally saved my tooth while others had suggested that it be pulled. If this is not enough to make you see him, it was also painless. Yes a painless root canal!! read more

Dr. Manoukian and his whole team were very much accommodating, witty and budget-conscious. They have actually cheered me up even if this sounded impossible while being in great pain. Highly professional, they led me through the whole process like a breeze. My first great US experience with dentists. read more

Dr Manoukian is a Dental Ninja. I walked into his office in agony, and walked out a "fee man" again, free of pain. Mark is very personable, professional, and competent. He mentioned that he had just performed his 25,000th root canal, and it shows. I was totally comfortable the whole time, it was really not a lot different than getting a cavity filled, only it takes longer. That is one thing to note - Mark is a bit old school in that he gives every patient his undivided attention, instead of the new breed of doctors that rush in and out, and leave other staff to answer questions. But what this means is that he might spend an extra 10 minutes with the patient before you, and you will have to wait a little longer. The good news, is that he will do the same for you, and you will get his undivided attention. I much prefer this. You never get the feeling of being rushed when he is treating you. read more

I did not expect to be walking out of my root canal procedure this morning with a big smile... And not just because it was over :-) I felt no pain and was put at ease by Dr. Manoukian and his lively staff. He is very personable, an excellent communicator and a highly skilled, proficient and professional. 5+ stars! read more

Highly skilled, personable, empathic, utterly top notch. Expert care, full, crystal clear explanations about what is being done and why, wonderful & efficient front office and technical staff, masterful attention to pain management. Humane and excellent in every way. My dream Endodontist! Highly recommended. read more

Love this Endodontist! I had to have a dreaded root canal and this guy was amazing. He immeditalty makes you feel comfortable and answers all your questions. He has a fantastic personality. He is so down to earth and funny. You can just tell right off the bat he is 100% genuine. This was my third root canal and the first time it was pain free. He really took time to make sure I couldn't feel a thing. He was kind enough to fit me in at the end of the day, and even though my appointment went way into the dinner hour, he never rushed. He actually made a root canal appt. a pleasant experience! If I ever need another root canal I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Mark was kind, gentle and most importantly (for me) he took the time to educate me on what was happening to create the pain, my options and his suggested treatment approach. I felt very safe/secure knowing he was being conservative, thoughtful and walking me through everything without being pedantic. His staff is wonderful, so sweet and helpful. Despite the circumstances, it's one of the best experiences I've had with a doctor. He was recommended to me by another dentist in San Anselmo who I think is the best dentist I've ever been to in my entire life and I found him on Yelp: Dr. Noah Dehlinger. These folks have figured out how to make dentistry as painless of a process as possible. Highly, highly recommend. read more

Saved my failed root canal when a Mill Valley tried for 15 minutes and then charged me $400 when she said she it wasn't possible. Then tried to sell me implant. Dr. Manoukian and his entire staff are fantastic!!! read more

Not surprised to see all the other positive reviews. If there were six stars, I would give them. I'm one of those people who have a hard time getting numb AND who have dental anxiety. He "got it" and I could tell that making my experience positive was his top priority....at which he succeeded. He treated me with respect, kindness, and empathy, not like a job to get done and billed. At no point did he show impatience, only graciousness. Clinically, I trust him. He explained everything to me in a way that was non-jargon filled and understandable. I was also very happy to learn that dental anesthesia is a specialty of his; in fact, he teaches it. Not surprisingly, I couldn't even feel the shots. And he made sure that I was truly numb before working on me, which unfortunately has not always been a successful endeavor for me. Lastly, the playful bantering between his administrative assistant, dental assistant, and Dr. Manoukian kept the atmosphere light and joyful. His entire staff were beacons of positivity and competence. I highly recommend Dr. Manoukian! read more

Excellent DMD. This is the Best in Marin . I work in Healthcare and I know excellent work.

My dentist referred me to Dr. Manoukian for consultation on a root canal. He was very helpful in describing the cause of my symptoms, discussing my treatment options, and listening to my concerns and anxiety about a procedure with a name like "root canal". His office staff helped me schedule a convenient time for the procedure. And, Dr. Manoukian and his assistant made it a priority to minimize my discomfort throughout the entire procedure. If I ever need another root canal, I will ask my dentist to refer me again to Dr. Manoukian. read more

I've had a long-standing history of temporomandibular joint dysfunction and wear an orthotic appliance. My worst fear came true when I was informed I needed a root canal. I can say with complete confidence that Dr. Manoukian's skill, knowledge, experience, and chair side manner, made for a seamless, painless, efficient, and fearless process for me. I had no pain during the procedure, minimal pain when the local anesthetic wore off, and no pain one day post procedure. Another often overlooked factor is the front office, ancillary, and assistant staff members, all of whom were pleasant and caring in what was a highly stressful situation. I highly recommend Dr. Manoukian without reservation and would return to him for future care in a heartbeat. read more

I've had multiple root canals (all very painful) in years past and cringed when I was referred to Dr. Manoukian for another. What a surprise this delightful man turned out to be!! He provided an initial consult at no charge and the procedure was so completely painless that I nodded off to the soothing music he was playingas he was drilling away. This relates to the extraordinary skill and patience with which he performed a multi-step numbing procedure I've never experienced with any other dental specialist. I expected pain the next day, but there's been absolutely none. Bottom line: Dr. Manoukian is a consummate master!! read more

Can a root canal be pleasant? My root canal redo was as close to pleasant as it gets. We had a consultation first and Dr. Manoukian made sure to explain everything in minute detail. I learned a lot about teeth in 15 minutes! The actual procedure was painless and quick. They let me pick what Spotify playlist to listen to during the whole thing and the view outside of the lake was lovely. Best dental procedure I've ever had. Wish I could have gone to him for the initial root canal years ago and I never would have had to get it redone! read more

I was extremely nervous about getting a Root Canal done because I got one done before at another office and it was very unpleasant. But when I walked in, the front staff made me feel welcomed and made me feel more comfortable. I was still a little nervous but all of that went away when I met Dr. Manoukian. He made me laugh and made me feel right at home. I felt no pain and he constantly checked on me to make sure I was alright. I still have a lot of work that I still need to get done and I will come here to get it. I will recommend this place to everyone I know. Great staff and great (handsome) doctor.
