The office is clean, the staff professional.
Too bad the $3,500.00 bridge he installed was so ill fitting, he had to refund my money. (3/4s of the money went back to Care Credit. Unfortunately between Co-Vid and cancer I couldn't keep up my payments, so I no longer have that credit). It was a pretty bridge, but it was 1/4 inch too high and the shape of the teeth were very different than my other side. The bite was too smooth, lacking peaks and valleys. He tried adding more to one side of the bridge, but that made it worse. My bite doesn't meet on that side which has caused the other side to 'heat up' because it's taking all the pressure of my bite. My jay is in constant pain.
I paid out of pocket $2, 800.00 for an inlay and onlay on my other side. They look good, although there is a ridge I can feel. They look good, except that my teeth have shifted from this work and have created a gap that painfully fills up with food every time I eat. The space gets so painfully packed up with meat fibers when I eat steak, it's too painful to eat it anymore. I guess that's not so bad because one shouldn't eat red meat with liver cancer anyway. (At least I don't have to worry about dental decay, he did fix that)
I paid cash for a filling he did that is so rough, he tried sanding it smooth 2 different times, but 8 months later, it remains so rough, it's a constant nuisance. My tongue is always sore rubbing against the strange feeling.
It's such a nightmare to have spent so much money, cash, no insurance, and to have so many problems. Especially because Dr. Pouradib was so nice and he's painless and quick too.
I spent every dime of my meager savings to get quality dental care and I ended up disappointed. I'm constantly in pain or uncomfortable from the work he did and now life has hit me so hard, I have no way to fix the crap right now. This feels so wrong and unfair. The free clinic will fix the filling.
I should also mention, he called me and asked me to remove this bad review. I tried changing it because I do like him, but I'm so uncomfortable so much of the time due to his work, I don't feel that would be right. I am happy to read some one had a good experience with him. It would be interesting to find out what work that reviewer had done. And if he still feels the same way.
