Martha's was the first restaurant we visited when we touched down at Newark for our family vacation in Hoboken/NYC. We could not have picked a better place to enjoy dinner after a long flight! Per our very friendly waiter's recommendations, we ordered the octopus, crab spaghetti, and brick chicken to share amongst the four of us. Everything tasted so delicious! Each dish had tons of flavor without being too heavy or oily. Even my dad thought the food here was good, and he is usually very difficult to please! I would 1000% come back again.

Martha's is such a hidden gem for Hoboken! Causal but still elevated. Also shoutout to whomever is in charge of the music selection, 10/10! The staff is so friendly and the service is quick! Drink: Bottle of Flora Prosecco Very light and crisp Food: Mini lobster and shrimp rolls, fries & broccolini The lobster and shrimp roll is to DIE FOR. I wish it was an entree bc of how delicious it is. Fries were cooked perfectly (i recommend trying with the truffle aioli!). I was a disappointed with the broccolini's lack of flavor. All in all, I will definitely be back for those lobster rolls!

I had never heard of Martha's, until a friend recommended. I absolutely loved it! Our service by Ayse was very good. I told her I was GF and she made some suggestions. After ordering something else, she convinced me the Brick chicken might be a better choice. I could not have agreed more. The chicken might be the best chicken dish I've ever had. It was absolutely delicious! I also had the house salad & loved the dressing. My husband ate the sausage pasta dish and the meatballs. He enjoyed everything as well. A little off the beaten, path in Hoboken, but definitely a must try! I can't wait to go back!

Chopped salad with shrimp

We ordered the meatballs, steak frites, rigatoni bolognese, and chopped salad. The meatballs and steak were tender and flavorful, the fries were also very good. The pasta and salad were great. I would not recommend ordering a hugo spritz as it was not good. I took away a star because the ambiance wasn't great (bright lighting, quiet music, tables very close together). And the service was not the best.

A charming restaurant on a corner in uptown Hoboken with a large dining room, lots of bar seating and a very friendly staff- this is a great location for a casual or intimate dinner with a date, family or friends (or all of the above!). The food was pricy but delicious and they had happy hour specials that convinced us to try some new drinks and apps. 5 stars if you're aware of the price point here. We walked out at about $65 per person after tax and tip (splitting an app between 2 and about 1 drink per person).

Great addition to Hoboken! It's a beautiful restaurant with quick service. First tried Martha's over the summer and had the crab spaghetti, filet mignon cheesesteak and truffle parmesan fries. Everything came out hot and the fries were perfectly crispy. Went back recently and tried the burrata, crispy calamari and pork belly bao buns for appetizers. For our main dishes we got the burger, cheesesteak and fries. Although it's a bit pricey, the quality of the food is great and they have an all day happy hour menu with good options. Overall, enjoyed every dish and would order again. Looking forward to going back soon!

A very beautiful spot in Hoboken! My friend and I went for an early dinner on a Monday and it was pretty quiet until around 6:30 pm. The ambiance is very pretty! We had 2 servers who were so sweet and brought out everything very fast. For drinks I ordered the espresso martini and my friend got a cosmo. For entrees I ordered the salon and I highly recommend ordering this! Salmon was cooked perfectly and the orzo was creamy and hearty.

This was a nice place to dine with friends. Jeff was our server and he was very kind and attentive. We ordered the following ... LEMON RICOTTA PANCAKES - blueberry compote, fresh berries, whipped cream It was delicious! WILD MUSHROOM OMELETTE caramelized onions, gruyere, choice of salad or fries YUM! Added BACON on the SIDE As you can see in the photos the presentation of the food was beautiful and the food was delicious! Kudos to the chef. We had a great experience dining here and will definitely return again!!!

Bottom line first: Order the salmon! (And bring cash to save on the 3.5% credit card surcharge.) Everything we ordered was cooked well and a solid 4 stars, but wouldn't necessarily make me crave a return visit to Martha's... except the salmon, which I will 100% come back just to eat it again. + SPANISH OCTOPUS A LA PLANCHA ($18): The octopus was so tender and even my 4-year-old was a fan! The red pepper aioli wasn't my favorite though. - ROASTED BROCCOLINI ($12): Would skip this next time. Felt more steamed broccolini than roasted. + MAC AND CHEESE ($14): This app was my 4-year-old's main dish and she loved it. As expected from a baked mac and cheese from a restaurant--creamy, stringy, nice texture from the garlic panko. + ROASTED SALMON ($28): We asked for medium rare and the salmon was perfectly cooked, but the star was the sweet and nutty risotto with roasted squash and wild mushroom. It complemented the salmon perfectly and I scraped the plate clean. (I don't typically order salmon at restaurants but decided to trust fellow reviewers and I'm so glad I did!) + CRAB PASTA ($32): The spaghetti alla chitarra had a nice texture. Light and zesty from the lemon breadcrumbs, this pasta balanced the richer salmon dish well. And we were happy with the amount of jumbo lump crab meat in the dish. Though objectively well cooked, we'll probably skip this one next time so we can try a different entree. - SPICED CARROT CAKE ($11): This was enjoyable but wouldn't reorder. Also my personal preference would've been more cream cheese frosting on it. Overall, a delicious new addition to our Hoboken dining rotation. Service was great and ambience was classy.

Great food and great service! Reservations on Resy. Our group of four split the Crispy Cauliflower Nuggets with spicy mayo to start - we devoured them before I was able to get a photo. The Roasted Salmon entree was delicious; cooked to perfection with artichokes, corn and green goddess dressing. The Chicken Sandwich also looked good. Perfect portion sizes. For dessert, we split the Chocolate Budino pudding with berries and mascarpone. Fun cocktail list too! Can't wait for Martha's to offer brunch!!

I got the cheese steak was very good! Cute date spot, will say a little pricey. But everyone was super nice and the service was quick.

We got there shortly after they opened (4 pm), so it wasn't busy. On your way to the rooftop you'll pass through a nightclub, which reminded me of a discotheque reminiscent of Studio 54. According to my friend, it doesn't get hopping until later and good times are had. There is a jacuzzi inside, so I can only imagine the wild antics that occur. I would have absolutely been a regular here back in the day. The Rooftop is spacious with plenty of places to chill & relax. I ordered a Cucumber Limonade $16 (Vodka, Cucumber, Lime, & Elderflower). It was crisp & refreshing. Perfect for this beautiful sunny day. My friend was right. The view was stunning - with sweeping views of the city and the harbor. It was so nice to be so high up above the bustling city without a care in the world.

One person in our group may have seemed a little off, and because of that, the staff refused to serve any of us alcohol. We get that they have policies to follow, but it felt a bit unfair to penalize the entire group--especially since the rest of us weren't drinking or acting out of line. To make things more confusing, they came back later and said we could order alcohol after all, but by that point, the mood was already off and we decided to leave. The place didn't seem bad overall, but that experience definitely left a sour taste. Maybe we just caught them on a weird night. Wouldn't recommend especially being in the wine country.

We thought mini golf was interactive, everyone had the same chance to play and it's simple enough without exerting too much energy (unlike an escape room or the dancing tiles which I also came across in my research). Great place for friends, families, dates of all ages. We checked in on the ground floor (also have a coat check here) and were told they have a cabin themed course on the 2nd floor and a museum themed course on the 3rd floor, but there was a party going on. They also told us about the rooftop lounge, which is covered with plastic and they have heaters blasting the space. We went with the cabin themed. Although I don't think they completely blocked the 3rd floor with the party, we just didn't want to have to compete with others and wanted a quiet experience. They have stairs or an elevator. Once we got to the 2nd floor, we were the only ones there and were explained how the digital scoring works. We inputted our names, and our scoreboard would follow us from board to board in sequence after we all punched in our scores. The max was 6 putts per course to help keep things moving (we definitely played more than 6 on some courses lol). The courses did progressively get more challenging as you moved on. The decor was beautiful. Fairy lights lined the space with murals or a ski lodge/mountains around with a polar bear and a ski mobile. Many cute photo ops. On the last course, once you made it, the game swallowed your ball, I guess to help prevent you from trying to play the course again. I wish there was more than 9 courses though. It was fun enough but maybe having a few more would have helped fill the time more. Time flew by and we had lots of laughs. Would be excited to come back to try the museum course next time.

I booked a social package that included 90 minutes of reserved seating, one round of mini golf, and a $25 food or drink voucher per person. When we arrived, we were given tickets for mini golf, but the staff seemed unsure about how the food and drink vouchers worked. After some back-and-forth, we learned the vouchers could only be used on the second floor, and if used for drinks, there was only one option available -- a blue rum drink with coconut. Unfortunately, the drink missed the mark for me and my friends, and the recipe could definitely use some improvement. We were also never shown where our reserved seating was, which was disappointing. That said, I had an amazing group of friends, and we still made the night a lot of fun. We played the Lodge course on the second floor, which is their most challenging course and beautifully decorated. I also loved the tablet that kept score for us -- it was a great touch. The rooftop area is another highlight: it's heated and really enjoyable during the winter. Overall, while the atmosphere and mini golf were fun, I wouldn't book a party package again -- it wasn't worth the cost. Next time, I'd just pay for mini golf directly.

Equally bomb! Perfect combo if you're drinking. You just HAVE to get a Sapporo when you're at a Japanese spot. I ended the meal with the café cocktail which I normally wouldn't order without milk... but this one? Sweet, delicious, and totally didn't need it. It was so good! Now the DJ... not jazz, not chill vibes, not whatever TikTok led me to expect. Nope. Full-on techno/trip hop/drum & bass mashup that was so loud I had to yell at my husband across the table, "HOW'S YOUR BURGER?!" And the bouncer out front - bless him, but communication skills = 0. He asked if we had a reservation, then gestured for IDs with his hands which my husband understood as whip out your reservation... after my husband is fumbling with his phone and showing the bouncer our reservation, the bouncer THEN clarified, and I felt like I was in some annoying game of charades. As an older born and raised New Yorker, the tough guy bouncer act is TIRED! We've seen it. Move on. Other than that? Food amazing. Service with our waitresses was amazing. And the decor was fire with the vinyls on the wall. Would I go back? Maybe. Especially if next time they swap the techno for some Japanese jazz so I can actually hear my husband without yelling.
