Easily one of the nicest and cleanest locations I've been to. There's plenty of parking and lots of treasures to hunt. I usually go for everything except the clothes so I can't comment on the dressing room. But they have the sugar free coffee syrups I love, great deals on shoes, and a very awesome clearance section. I will say, I think the dog section is too small. It's 1.5 aisles and I wish it was larger. read more

Christmas lines are wretched but well worth the wait if you find what you've been looking for and a great time to catch up on your reviews. Plenty of gift inspiring, random treasure mounds throughout the store. The staff here try to keep everything organized but lots of busy shoppers cut the work out for them. Guys, I guess I'm having a "Karen moment". The actual store was okay today but the restrooms were diabolical. Smelled like urine and old dirty pads. I understand sometimes as an employee it feels like there's "no time to clean up the restroom" but the manager should have MADE time every hour to check in on the status of the bathroom or assign employees to do so in turns. This is so disgusting! Mind you, this was a little past 7 & the store was not busy nor was the line long. This looks like they haven't checked on the bathroom all day. Marshall's offers a credit card with 10% off today's purchase and cash back rewards. I finally decided to do it as I made a large purchase today. I have the highest credit score possible. I did put my cell number on the wrong line. Who knew? I was sent a link which I was to use to get a video of my face and scan my drivers license to verify myself. After reencouraging myself, I attempted to do those things to complete the app. It didn't work. I called them to tell them I needed help with all that and they said I would be getting a letter in seven days saying my application was denied, and that was it. What a Lovely place Marshalls is! Can someone who works at this location explain to me why all the walkways and aisles are so narrow? I got so frustrated today trying to look at the shoes because I couldn't navigate comfortably without bumping into things with my stroller (which is about the same width and length of the stores baskets). I want to start by saying I love Marshalls, I've always had pleasant experiences shopping at different locations until I came here to the Moreno Valley Marshalls. The Cashier(woman with overly injected duck lips & was not wearing a name tag) who ringed me out was EXTREMELY RUDE, had a Nasty Attitude. Did not greet me or ask me anything about my shopping experience unlike other cashier's would. I asked her a question and she ignored me. Incredible for someone to be so nasty/rude to a complete stranger for no reason. I had seen her interaction with the man she ringed out before me and she was smiling and talking to him but when it was my turn she just turned into a sour hag. I'm not sure if she is the manager or just a store associate but she seriously needs a reality check & RETRAINING on customer service. I also bought a fragile glass item and she failed to wrap it, I didn't notice until I got home. She just put it in between my clothes. She is a carless, unprofessional, sour, bitter, nasty woman. A costumer should at least feel welcomed and taking care of when they are choosing to spend their hard earned money in this establishment. A couple other things I noticed were clothing on racks are very disorganized even some clothes were on the floor in between racks. The bathroom was filthy. Marvin is a great associate that he enhances every customer experience and manages the floor efficiently and keeps it very tidy. Will be back to this location only because of Marvin the management is rude and creates a hostile environment not only for the employees but as well as customers. Don't think I can live without Marshalls. They have great presents for friends and for all seasons, and smaller furnitures that is useful around the home. They sell storage and clothes, condiments and spices, but also hand sanitizers and a vast array of goods that sometimes can't be found anywhere else. There is a lot of parking and a restroom that you can use. There is usually a line but the line goes through shelves of things that you might have forgotten. The staff are very respectful and helpful for finding things. I like their Gin-Gin Ginger candies the most here. It always has what I can't find anywhere else. read more

Their staff can be sometimes a hit or a miss. The store itself it's a bit messy but you just have to dig in what area you're at. I couldn't find any decent eyeliner because some of them were opened. But I'm happy I found some felt tip pens in the stationary section. Their check out aisle goes quick. I just don't like the electronics section is on the line to be checked out. What if I just want to look at the electronics without being weirded out by customers who are waiting in line. From what I gathered she was an employee but wasn't on the clock and she was harassed by terry!! I noticed him following her around the store . It made me feel very uncomfortable to witness this . I come here all the time either straight from work or with a friend just to see what I can find. Alone I'll spend close to 3 hours just looking sometimes lol. Things are usually clean for the most part but shelves of products (cosmetics in particular) tend to just be thrown in there in no type of order and way too crowded to sort thru, so on my last visit I was so happy to see how organized everything was!! Like products placed together and in a line, everything tagged, new signs on the racks! Very impressive and has improved my experience so much. Cashiers are friendly and lines never take too long in my experience. Their selection of merchandise has also improved greatly, actually exceeding my expectation for marshalls. read more

And here goes an update... Since the last review things have gone downhill horribly with this place. The employees have become really rude at the customer service. Was here returning some clothes via customer returns. The lady didn't acknowledge or even give a greeting. She was so busy throwing the return stuff around that the receipt went with it. This caused her to wonder where it then went. Well duh! Never even asked what we wanted to do the returns (exchange, credit, refund, etc). Just ended up giving us a refund. Which I guess could be considered a sign, because after this encounter the last thing we will do is support this specific venue for the company. There really isn't anything special at this particular location. I came here looking for more professional looking pieces of clothing, but came across nothing. It was either horrible fit, bad material, or there was some snag on the item. My opinion is that you're probably better off shopping somewhere else for bargain clothing items. What I did enjoy here was finding that they carried many different handsoaps!!! They were so nice in smell, consistency, and bottle size. I took my 5 year old daughter out to get some summer clothes and while we had about 9 items to try on, 2 of them were two pieces pinned together with the security sensor, I took them to the girl in the fitting room and asked her if she could remove them so my daughter could try them in, her reply was "no we can't, we don't have a thing to take it off" so what your telling me is your not allowed to try them on, you have to buy it try it and return it if you don't like it or it don't t fit!!!! Meaning I again have to wait in line. I worked retail management for 10 years and have NEVER heard of such a thing! Wow all I can say is horrible customer service! I bought a pair of shoes and did not realize till I gifted them that the cashier left the sensor on. I took the shoes back to have them remove it as soon as my schedule allowed ( week later) and it ended up being an ordeal that took over 30 minutes. They said that even though I had my card that I made the purchase with they needed a receipt. Eventually after going rounds with the manager and explaining to her it is the negligence of the employee she took the last 4 of my atm card to look up the purchase. SMH.... WOOOOOOWWWWWW! read more

Lazy people for customer service. I asked to re-scan an item bec at times the price goes even lower. she said the scanning team comes at 5 a.m! Is this for real? Beforehand, I asked the same thing and they said they scan in the morning. Now the lady upfront said that they scan it at 5 AM. I confirmed it with another worker and she said there is no scanning at 5 AM. I confronted the lying salesperson and she said she just said what she's supposed to say. I have been shopping here for years. There's one guy that works there who is always friendly n gives great customer service. Can't remember his name but he wears glasses. The store always has a plethora of new and interesting items and they organize it pretty well. Lots of stores don't have changing tables so not a biggie to me. I think it's a good store! read more
