On the way out of town and stopped here for the restroom and to pick up some cough drops. The bathroom was gross like most Target stores. I don't get why the bathrooms are always this way. I guess no one ever cares. Store is ok. They have a lot of items locked up but luckily cough drops were not. I stopped at the Starbucks on the way out. The wait was long but it was due to employees talking amongst each other and neglecting the line. I didn't really care. I was not in a hurry but the guy behind me was definitely annoyed lol I don't blame him. We were in line watching them chat away for a few good minutes. read more

GREAT HAIR PRODUCTS & DEALS! I was super impressed with the preservative-free shampoo selection and organic hair products. My scalp is very sensitive, so it's nice having more options for hair and skin care. I'm starting small with higher quality hair products with less dyes and working my way up. This Target has a neat section for all of these items. Service was decent, the staff were neutral. I found the store to be easy to navigate and clean. I loved the deals on Funko Pop! figures. I got an 8-bit Scarlet Witch pop for only $5! That's a great deal for collectors like me. Canyon Springs' Target is large and has the usual Target fare like Starbucks, a Mascara Bar, and a small CVS pharmacy. I enjoyed the spacious parking and walking space. We stopped on the way out to UCR to pick up some last minute items. The store is nice, very open and has just about everything you need. The home section was nice, they seemed to be well stocked (especially being so close to campus which is great). It was a week day so the store wasn't as crowded as I have seen different Targets but for sure more crowded than I would think being a Wednesday mid-morning. Employees we interacted with were helpful and friendly and they had a large selection of various items from what I saw. Same Target deals and prices seemed to be comparable to our local Targets (because I have found that prices do vary based on location). We also stopped by the Starbucks on the way out. Showed up this morning at 9:30am asking if they were doing the Valentines plush giveaway. Mgr at Guest service said it starts at 12 and ends at 4pm come back. Did my errands and drove back to target and they said they will not be doing the give away they can't locate the give away and they probably never recieved them. Today, I found a cell phone on a shelf in an aisle. While my friend went to get an associate, I was able to find one walking by. She gave me attitude, rolled her eyes, and talked back to me as if I was bothering her. My friend returned with the security guard. The security guard said "you couldn't bring it to me." Then, another customer told me that the first employee gave her attitude also. I believe in customer service and having a good attitude at work. Bad attitudes should be on a PiP or fired. read more

The bathroom is one of the most disgusting places i've seen in a while, you know when you're on a road trip and you have to stop in the middle of nowhere to use the restroom in a dirty restroom? this target restroom is worse than that! it is flithy and there's food on the floor, toilet paper, sh!t and pee on the toilet, IN THE TOILET NOT flushed too! and it's so unmanaged and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a month. gross! read more

The amount of vagrants and solicitors before you hit the door is disturbing . It almost makes you not even want to go into the store. The store is a complete wreck and there aren't many employees able to help especially when needing items that are in locked cabinets or boxes. Most other targets have had a new revamp and this one is still old and in need of repair, they seem to run out of stock quickly And it's hard to get help. They only have one entrance open, which is the front entrance and the back one is locked because they can't seem to figure out how to keep security from letting vagrants inside the store. read more

Horrible and rude customer service and dirty and disgusting restrooms. We waited 10 minutes for someone to open the case where the razors are, we used their sensor alert button and even asked three different associates walking by. They brushed us off and said to just use the sensor button. This store's selection of items is alright, there are other Targets that have a better selection of items. read more

Came to this Target today for a quick order pick up. However, my order pickup was not so quick. I went to the order pick up counter and stood for about 5 minutes when I finally asked a woman (WITH A TARGET UNIFORM ON) helping some women across from me at the self checkout if there was someone who was working the pick up counter. She responded as if she was annoyed "I don't know I'm off the clock I don't know" I responded "oh ok, what do you advise" and she said "I don't know call somebody I don't know who works here" I laughed and walked out switching my order pick up to drive up and someone came out to drop off my order within in 2 minutes. While I understand being off the clock she was helping others at the self checkout so I didn't understand the attitude - uniform and helping to customers indicates to me that your on the clock lol read more

The worst target that I have ever stepped foot in! Theft must be a big problem because A LOT of essential items are locked up and you have to ask for assistance to grab something. From underwear, socks, vitamins, to toothpaste. Ridiculous! And to make matters worst, they don't seem to care about long lines. I stood there for 20 minutes, TWENTY, waiting for someone to unlock a shirt in the men's section. I tried multiple sensors and not a single employee showed up. I eventually gave up and left the shirt because apparently no one could be bothered to help. Then when I go to pay, I see a whole group of workers just standing at the front, laughing and chatting like they're on break. Unreal. This is completely unprofessional. I very rarely come to this target and I remember why the amount of beggars strolling through the parking lot asking for money is what hit you first then you get to the front door and you have the homeless sitting in front of the door almost blocking the front door to even get into the building Looking for money then you get inside when you cannot shop by yourself because everything literally everything is locked up you want deodorant locked up face so locked up laundry soap locked up everything I was trying to get is locked up. I literally needed a personal shopper with me because I was constantly trying to get somebody to unlock all the doors, I get stuff is bad in that area but come on there are some people that do not have time to sit and wait 10 minutes for you to open the deodorant cabinet. Came in to try to return, as I waited and looked around and they guy said customer service was closed because they had a call out. No problem but if you have to move people around do it prior to store opening. I work retail so I completely understand but you have to make decision prior to store opening. I see a lot of people picking and doing other things. 1 cashier and 4 self check out stations not open. Wouldn't it be smarter to have that 1 cashier oversee the 4 self check outs? I usually shop with eight or twelve items on my list and usually find one-half to two-thirds of them at the store. I always hope that perhaps they've improved their stock and I'll find everything--this is NOT the case. Yesterday there were five items on my list and SURPRISE, I found all of them. The only problem is that I had to wait for what seemed like half an hour for the attendant to come and unlock the case--in fairness to the store, it was probably 10 to 15 minutes of waiting time although I didn't time it. The slow-moving attendant did thank me for my patience, however. Still, that's a very long time to wait for a tube of toothpaste! Unfortunately, it seems like all Target stores have poor customer service ratings. I understand the reason for the locked cases because of all the low-life miscreants who steal and I'm willing to be patient but between the excessive waiting time and the poorly stocked shelves, I'm very disappointed with all Target stores--especially this one which is the one I usually shop. Now I've begun shopping for necessities on-line at Target and that methodology seems to be somewhat better. Good luck if you shop at this store. read more

I'm a big fan of Target, but this location was disappointing. The girls clothing section was a mess, and the dressing rooms were even messier with trash on the floor. The staff was unhelpful. One dressing room area was closed - I was told because it wasn't staffed. However, the other dressing room area wasn't staffed either, and everything was locked, so we had to ask for help again to get into one of those dressing rooms, which took a while. I was extra disappointed by the lack of help given that my mom was using one of the store's mobility shopping carts, the battery was dying, and we weren't allowed to use the dressing room area where we could plug it in to charge. They didn't do anything to be helpful or accommodating. read more

Running to target for something quick. No self checkout lanes open. Spent almost 10 minutes, looking for an item that I wanted that wasn't expired, glazed fig, nuts. And then finally get to the checkout and the cashier must be getting paid per piece per scan because he was not trying to move quickly. apparently gotten into the wrong line because everyone else around me was moving much faster. I must've circled the electronics department six times looking for a specific item with no assistance offered. Oh, I noticed the Texter has an employee badge on! What a waste of your precious payroll dollars. Three suggestions: - Terminate this worthless "worker" (no pun intended); - Find a HR person capable of hiring qualified people; - Fire the store manager and hire one that actually manages his or her employees. Not a whole lot of stuffs, but found the one that I couldn't find at any Target at the moment, with everything that's happening right now, all the shipments got delayed, preorders got cancelled, I considered myself lucky to be among the people who could randomly found the toys I am ready to buy, box packaging was terribly damaged but the figure inside was still ok, I'm not planning to keep the box this time. Dirtiest Target I've ever been to. This location has made me believe in the "Walmartification of Target." It's as if every employee here hates being there. We had three separate transactions, one which was an attempt to hide a pre-birthday gift for my niece. Jordyn was patient and accommodating of our special request. I made my purchase first, and was quickly able to take my niece out of the store without spoiling her birthday surprise. My sister was then able to make her purchase(s). I've called electronics, guest services, and "all other departments" (the keypad selection) and the phone rings forever before disconnecting.
