    This review is for nothing more than management's incompetence, after waiting in a long line for what seemed like hours "manager Angela" refused my slightly ripped $100 bill. Also said she had no tape. Working in retail I'm aware of what's except-able. This manager is not educated on what's expectable.

    Went there today and Gladys was VERY rude. She barked at me like she was herding cattle. She yelled at me to put the cart on the left side of the door with such attitude, sounded like she was scolding a child. mind you i saw so many ppl not putting their carts away and leaving it in the cashiers aisle and I was thinking how rude, We should be helping these workers not making it harder, so There i go pushing my cart to where there's other carts parked only to be literally scolded?! so rude and offputting i felt so caught off guard i literally thought she was talking to another employee, by the time i realized she was talking to me i was so confused. Can't believe people dont have basic customer service skills to the point they cant talk to us like humans.

    came here to go use the restroom, I needed to go really bad. First thoughts on the restrooms are your typical average retail restrooms nothing out of the ordinary, as i was getting ready to do my business I am welcomed by a fellow cockroach. If you're looking for a place to use the restroom it's definitely not here, won't come back to use the restroom

    All floors full of make up and product residue.

    I love Marshall's but this Montebello Marshall's is sadly very unkept and disorganized. Why is it that the store managers don't reach out to upper management headquarters to get this store and floors professionally cleaned. There's filth all over the floors, dried up spills and dirtiness everywhere. We are fortunate to have this local store and it just seems neglected. I don't see the filthy floors and restrooms in other locations. Let's do better folks. One star for just having the store close to home. Please help keep this store clean, safe and open !! managers, shoppers and headquarters.

    This store has horrible customer service! They never have enough employees at check out & there's always a huge line every time I come here! Manager Henry customer service sucks, he not even fir for a manager if you can respect that customers are waiting in a long line! I will not be come back to this Marshall's.

    Clean fitting rooms are one of the pros at this particular Marshall's.

    PROS: Great deals and excellent merchandise especially if you have a smaller build (30-32 waist, small & medium shirt size). CONS: Long lines and the never ending temptation to buy too many items. The staff are attentive and my returns have been hassle free. Recommended but be patient with the lines which can be quite long particularly on evenings and weekends.

He looked at me, and said "I don't know it doesn't have a label, but it's expensive probably couple hundred dollars" He then turned around and went to help someone else.He made assumptions based on how I looked and then just walked away without helping. This kind of treatment is absolutely absurd. As a loyal Macy's customer who's spent plenty over the years, I can't believe the lack of basic respect and effort. If this is how Macy's treats people during the holiday rush, they've lost not just a sale, but a customer for good. I walked right away and went to Victoria Secret and bought cologne from their men's department. Yes they sell cologne as well, if you didn't know and reading this. Oh and spent almost $300.00 there, So I think a couple hundred would have been doable to that sales rep.

Upon entry to this store, my first thought was... what a small Kohl's! Yeah, it's quite small compared to other Kohl's I have visited. Aisles are quite tight IMHO. Anyway, I walked up to the counter to inquiry about exchanges. A very hospitable and nice young lady by the name of Monique helped me check if they had the items + sizes in stock at this store. It was a very smart idea. I didn't have to scrounge around to look for them. Thanks so much Miss! Only 4 out of the 8 items were available at this store. A young man who also worked here directed me to the exact location of the clothing. Cool! He saved me even more time. Thank you Sir! I found the items and tried them on. Unfortunately, the new size didn't work out for 3 items. I will keep what I have. Luckily, the most important item worked out... it was a pair of Croft N Barrow printed pants. The store was well stocked and organized. I prefer to stay away from overly crowded stores that has their merchandise all over the place. Tonight was a perfect example of why. I watched a manager open a register, help one customer, and then close it--even as the line kept growing to about 15 people. That left just one associate handling a long line, while another cashier was tied up helping a group with a large purchase. Instead of jumping in to help during a busy moment, the manager was on her phone, then emptying trash behind the registers and adjusting carts--completely ignoring the line of waiting customers. The only bright spot was Carlos, who was working incredibly hard and treating customers with patience and professionalism despite the situation. He deserves recognition for how he handled things. It's frustrating because TJ Maxx has great products, but the lack of customer care at this location makes it not worth the stop.
