I was very impressed by the customer service my mother of 83 received when we went to the Ridge Culver Marshalls to purchase shorts for the dog days of summer. Megan was busy restocking when I spoke with her and she put down what she was doing and helped my mother and I for a good 20 minutes. Megan pulled out various styles and sizes and asked questions to help us find what my mother needed. My mother had a stroke several years ago so with limited mobility and eyesight, it is not easy to shop for clothes. Megan was polite, patient and proactive in anticipating what we were trying achieve and to do it in a timely manner. After selecting three very comfortable and fashionable shorts, we move on to the checkout where Natalie was super helpful in getting me signed up for a Marshall's card and swiftly through the process. When I spoke with Megan and Natalie's manager Nani, to tell her about their kind service, I could see they were led by someone who models good customer service as she was very nice as well. Marshall's has always been a favorite of my mother's due to the value and prices. Today they get excellent marks for customer service! read more

I've shopped in person so rarely the last year+ that I was excited to go to a brand new Marshall's location! It was fairly disappointing. Props to wiping down carts before giving them to customers, but I saw at least 5 customers wearing masks under their noses and mouths (one entering right behind me, and the store employee didn't say a word). When checking out, I had a gift certificate in my email, so I put the phone down on the counter assuming the cashier would scan it. He picked it up and touched it all over, then had another employee come over and touch it too when he was having problems with the scanner. I wanted to sanitize my phone, so as I left I asked the employee at the exit if I could have one of her cleaning wipes. She said "No, these are for us." Ugh, okay. They've reduced the number of clothing racks for both men and women from the previous location, and the shoe selection for women is very small. I get the sense they are focusing more on housewares and the like. My husband made it worth the trip there by picking up some soap and deoderant. As I write this we are heading out to the TJ Maxx in Webster and hoping we have better luck! read more

I would only go to this Marshall's out of pure desperation. By far the worse customer service I've ever experienced. The employee at the fitting room was so rude - actually gave me an eye roll which I called her out on. Additionally, the check out line was quite long, however an employee just left her station and walked out the door - we all assumed it was for her lunch but some kind of explanation would have been appreciated. Due to her leaving there was one cashier left to handle the line - she wasn't the kindest person either. Irondequoit has very few shopping choices and I thought I'd give this location a chance. I guess I shouldn't be surprised yet I was hopeful. Never again - worth the drive to go to pittsford or Webster - at least there you'll be treated with respect and appreciated for shopping at their stores. read more

Ok I would come here on the regular after my nail appointments that I had in the area. Some like this location others don't. My feelings are these if you have a good eye you can find some treasures. Let's be frank some locations are better than others. When I've come here I've found Blue Label Ralph Lauren home stuff and it's a bargain. Houseware stuff can be on point or a meh... the lay out is not bad as the houseware stuff is in its own space. Staff is ok but oh well. Parking is a shared lot I hope they repaired it as it was a mess. It's a 3.5 out of 5. Give it a whirl read more

Probably the worst Marshalls store of the bunch. It is small, though organized, limited with a selection of merchandise due to limited space. When thinking of a Marshalls, this one seems to be forgotten compared to the larger ones in Rochester. While shopping over the holiday season, I came across a few unexpected finds, for gift giving, which would have surely been snagged before my eyes ever set on them if at a busier location. Generally, I'd say it is worth a visit if in the area, but I just don't think that it is worth it. You're better off hopping in 390N and heading to either Henrietta or continuing on to the Monroe avenue location. read more

It expanded, lots of selection. Every winter, Burton gloves, hats, socks etc. deep discount prices. Gotta love it!

some items I have found here are better priced than what a thrift store would have them for, but this is only in the final mark-down section, and the little selection found in these parts of the store goes fast. Other items, even when they are marked down a few times still seem too pricey. They really need to figure out their cash register system better because there always seems to be a big line or a short line that takes 20 min. to get through because of one problem or the other. They don't have enough workers at the registers in general, especially on the weekends. I have seen people take one look at the long slow line, drop the items they were going to buy and walk right out of the store in anger. read more

I love this Marshalls, it is big and has a great selection. Most of the negative reviews seem to be before they expanded. I can find whatever I need here and I haven't had any problems with customer service. read more

This place is always a mess. If you dig deep you can find some great deals, but most of the time i leave disappointed. And empty handed. I would skip this one and go to the Pitsford one instead. read more

This pertains to the vitually non existant mens department. When you compare the Marshalls in Pittsford to the one in Irondequoit you can plainly see how deficient the Irondequoit store is. I believe this staore caters more to Urban/getto apparel not to mention the limited amount of selection. Every time I walk in there the mens department shrinks and shrinks!! I dont get it. I always leave mad due to the lack of slection. Save yourself the aggivation and spend the extra gas money and go to Pittsford (or even the Henrietta store). read more

I love this Marshall's, too. The employees are friendly. There are always good deals on really nice merchandise. Perfect for gifts that look more expensive than they were to buy. If they have gift cards, it would be a good idea. It is smaller than other Marshall's buy quiet and easy to navigate. read more

I love this Marshalls. The customer service is great in this store. Everyone very friendly, helpful. It is smaller than the others, and yes the mens department really needs more merchandise. But even so, I have found some great deals here - a perfect sized metal coat tree for under 20 bucks, tights, really nice affordable womens' clothing items. They just need to get much more in the mens department. Otherwise I like this store a lot. read more

The store is well laid out, bright, and well-stocked, except for accessories. They've only been open a few weeks, so I was very surprised to see an almost depleted accessory area. I was looking for inexpensive hair accessories for Daughter. I was also looking for a certain hair product for her. The female cashier came over to help me; she was very knowledgeable and friendly. The staff are always friendly and every time I go there, which is about once a month, I have always been greeted by the cashier behind the register and when I leave they always tell me to have a good day.

I have been shopping here for many years and have found countless cool things. Some favorites include recycled silk yarn that I made a scarf with, a bumper sticker that said "Well Behaved Women Rarely Make History", and a mini tape measure on a keychain. Archimage has toys, musical instruments, soap, coloring books, gemstones, stickers, candles, jewelry, plants, clothing, and so much more. It's definitely worth a stop.

Wind-chimes, drums, signing bowls, crystals, inscents, candles, soaps, wallets, postcards, cloths, plants and much much more. Fair trade, hand crafted, and some local items. The staff is friendly and the owner is a wealth of knowledge. I was very lucky to have an opportunity to ask her questions and talk to her about several different items that I was interested in. I learned origin stories about some of the items, what certain meanings of specific crystals were and also care tips for the baby jade plant I took home with me. I lI will definitely be back whenever I go to Rochester!
