The store is well laid out, bright, and well-stocked, except for accessories. They've only been open a few weeks, so I was very surprised to see an almost depleted accessory area. I was looking for inexpensive hair accessories for Daughter. I was also looking for a certain hair product for her. The female cashier came over to help me; she was very knowledgeable and friendly. She used to work for Rite Aid and said the product I was looking for is something that Rite Aid carries. She seemed genuinely interested in helping me, and that's what put them at 4 stars.

I was asked if I wanted to round up for JC Penny cares, which I don't know what this is but it sounds like a clever ploy for the company to pay less taxes. JC Penney seems to be holding on to the bitter end. There are some very good deals on some decent clothes, which is why I give two stars. Despite my very best efforts I couldn't even give them my money because there was one cashier at one register and the wait was impossible! I waited over 10 minutes in a line *** of three people! *** All (3) of the shoppers in the store were apparently checking out at once. I have visited a couple of Athleta stores over the past few weeks. Tonight's visit was impromptu while I was trying to get some exercise by walking around in the mall. I noticed that they had a sale sign out, I'm always in to see what is on clearance or reduced rack. Just as the staff at my local store has proven to be, the staff was friendly and informative. I was able to try some pants on and get suggestions, and I even asked which color looked best and got a solid answer. The store associate that was their knew about all of the new items and also was willing to pull stuff from the back that was on clearance or close out to show me. I will continue to shop at this chain. I am extremely impressed.

I only gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because it is on the more expensive side. I think some of the clothes are a bit overpriced but again the quality is above average, so... I would only go here to buy something that I know I would get a lot of use out of to justify spending the money.

We didn't explore the store too much but the toy section in particular was pretty bare and the toys that they did have seemed grossly overpriced. Some of the clearance prices seemed high. Cashier was friendly and helpful. Good thing is that the inventory usually changes frequently. Maybe we just came at an odd time.
