    Zen chime and an Amethyst

First time at this place and sad I didn't go sooner. They have a lot of different things like toys for kids, odds and ends for the kitchen, jewelry, stones, salts, tapestry's, chimes, Buddha statues of all sizes, other statues, and other misc fun things you could give as gifts or for yourself. So much to look at I think o spent and hour looking around. I specially went looking for a chime and tapestry and was half successful. I will be going back to see if they get in other designs and colors.

A beautiful pearl ring and a spinner on the thumb, both purchased at Archimage.

Archimage has been a staple in my life since I discovered it about six years ago. I used to come here every week in high school to buy a new ring. I've since learned that's an irresponsible habit, but I have a hell of a ring collection now. They have beautiful jewelry with genuine semi-precious stones and intricate detail at a good price. You can spend anywhere between $10 to $40 on a good ring and they last me a very long time. This store has a lot more to offer like gifts, musical instruments, clothing and decorations, but for me the rings are the main event. I have been a loyal customer for years and I will continue to return as long as I'm in Rochester! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I recommend parking in the church lot a little down the street, it's empty unless it's a Sunday morning.

This place is a gold mine! Such an unusual mix of things, but I love it. You can find something for your quirky best friend, toys for your nephew, and incense for your hippie mom all in the same place. Favorite finds: - Literary mugs... meaning mugs with quotes all over them from famous authors - Handmade multicolor rugs ($25!!) - Jewelry -- unique designs from Africa, Thailand, etc. Plus, gemstone rings galore. - All of the tchotchkes -- great stocking stuffers, gag gifts, random things to give friends for gift exchanges, cool trinkets for bookshelves and so on. - Scarves - Inexpensive wind chimes (I found one for $11!) - Tea sets and beautiful painted Japanese bowls There's so much variety you could spend hours here. I did. But maybe it's because I love all of the knick knacks. I went around the place at least 3 times and found something new to add to my pile of goodies.

Parkleigh has saved my life by stocking all the gifts I forgot to get, didn't want to cart all the way to Western New York, or didn't even know I wanted to buy. They have something for everyone, and I truly mean that. If you can't find a gift for someone here, it's because that person doesn't like anything at all. They've got chocolates of all kinds, tea and coffee ground to order (which I wish I'd known before I'd bought mine elsewhere), beauty products, stuffed animals, coasters, books, flasks, camping gear, cookware, Bills gear, candy, and of course, socks, cards, mugs, shirts, hats, and anything else you could want with clever and funny little sayings. Seriously, so many socks. I've never seen this many socks that talk about drinking wine. But if that's something you need in your life, get over to Parkleigh. Also, the staff is super sweet and helpful.

What keeps drawing us back is the incredible mix they've perfected-- everything from sentimental to silly, practical to indulgent, fragrant to delicious. Their selection spans greeting cards, gourmet chocolates, coffees and teas, local Rochester items, MacKenzie‑Childs, jewelry, toys, and an ever‑changing rotation of gifts from both local and international makers. The store itself is beautiful, with exposed brick, hardwood floors, original tin ceilings, and eye‑catching displays that make wandering the aisles feel like opening a present. What we love most is that there is always something new, fun, or beautiful to explore, no matter how many times we visit. After two decades, we're still excited to walk through the door, and we know we'll keep coming back for many years to come.

LSOH hours are inconsistent on Google and on their Instagram account and their voicemail is not set up to accept messages. Personally, I tried to visit on a Saturday @ 1pm, Hours 12:30-5pm, however there was a sign posted "will be right back at 2pm" That doesn't mean - will be right back. It should read "will return at". Attempted to return the next day. Sunday hours 12:30-5pm. Upon arriving to LSOH the store was CLOSED. Tried messaging through Instagram account and through their website. Got no response. Once again, when operating a business it's vital your hours are correct, otherwise you'll lose Customers and they'll filter away. At that point unnecessary backpedalling to get them to return. Maybe offer a small percentage off their next purchase for the inconvenience. If you're always going to be closed when hours advertised read open...you might just close permanently. Basic rule of business 101. Awesome shoppe! Worth the trip! Keep trying till they're OPEN!
