Are you still buying shampoo and conditioner in a bottle? I haven't purchased hair or laundry products in plastic bottles in over three years!! You're paying for WATER!! Plus, if the container isn't recycled, nothing is good about that (and if you don't think you're playing for that plastic container, guess again). Just check out her product lines. Thank you, Marilla!

This store is like a dream for those of us looking to buy less plastic. Marilla's started with a…read morelocation in Geneva and has recently expanded to the South Wedge. I met Marilla herself, who gave me a tour of the small shop and explained how everything worked. This store carries several types of products. Bulk spices, coffee, tea, and candy; reusable/ecofriendly household products like soap bags and kitchen scrubbers; and big refill tubs of liquid items like face wash, hand soap, shampoo, and the like. They have jars you can purchase, or bring your own jar/container. Either way, the container is weighed and then you are charged for the weight of the product. There are fancier jars to buy for a few dollars, or use one of the recycled jars on the free shelf (they are cleaned and sanitized before being set out). Marilla also accepts clean, clear jars (no label) if you have them to donate. I look forward to refilling some household products here instead of buying one more plastic hand soap bottle or spice jar. Check this place out!

When I returned with the paperwork from county clerk on Tuesday, 8/11/26, John, the employee behind the counter, retrieved the handgun, but claimed he didn't know about the shotgun, so a second background check was required. While the background check was running, he left to help another customer, then disappeared. Two other employees took over the transaction, but there was confusion about what steps had been completed. What should have been a simple 30 minute transaction turned into a 2+ hour wait. Very disappointed in Sportsman's Warehouse, not worth a return trip.

In the future the store should disclose if a customer is purchasing a display or open box item. I purchased online and went the store to pick up. I picked up the item and drove home which is 50+ miles round trip. When I opened the bag I noticed the manufacturer seal was broken and the optic was not in the box. I called the store and they confirmed the item was still at the store. I asked if what could be done since I was inconvenienced, I was asked... "what are you looking for", and I said a discount for the time and distance since I had to go back to get the item. I was told a discount would be offered but not anything specific. The assistant manager said the all the optics they sell are open box because sportsman warehouse sells them so fast and can't keep them in stock and offer a 10% discount.... $15 is all that my time, travel and effort are worth. No thanks. If sportsman's warehouse only sells displays and open box items that should be disclosed and the industry average for retailers on display/open box items is 15-30%. More than 10% should have been offered in this instance. I will not be shopping at this company in the future.... This was my first and last experience with Sportsman's warehouse.
