Owner Dalida Atallah has really brought something special to Rochester with Dado. One trip to her store and you will understand her aesthetic, the girl has impeccable taste. If that's not enough the store is impossibly clean with each of the garments hung perfectly spaced apart while center tables hold accessories. A type A personality who understands the importance of presentation? Whats not to like?! Be warned: Though Dado is just minutes down the street from Marshalls and TJ Maxx, it is expensive. The store carries high end brands like Elizabeth & James and more popular brands like French Connection but don't let that scare you away, Atallah has great sales (Up to 30% off) often so its worth a visit. Perhaps some holiday money could buy you a fabulous New Years Eve dress. It's possible you've gotten a glimpse of what Dado has to offer if you've attended any of the local fashion shows. Most recently a Dado show raised over $100,000 for the Wilmot Cancer Center. A small business helping a local charity makes my 8 minute drive to Pittsford worth while. Fast fashion. I got a sweater here last halloween. No tags, suspicious, but I liked it so I still…read morebought it. Finally I find one tag on the sweater with a QR code because I needed cleaning information and it took me to Shein's website for care instructions. I found the listing, the sweater was $9.75 on Shein and they were selling it for $28 in store. I don't know if the item came with no tags or they were cut off, but I felt deceived.
