Yesterday I bought three blouses and asked a worker if I could use the self check-out or if I should get in line for a person to help me. He said I could use the self-check out so I did. Unfortunately, when I got home, I saw that there were magnetic security tags at the bottom sides of the blouses. This was extremely inconvenient and I had hoped to wash them and start wearing them immediately. I had a busy day and rushed to the store this evening to get this fixed, and unfortunately arrived 10 minutes later than closing. I saw the same worker exiting and asked him if he could help me take out the tags on his way out and he said no, and that I had to come back again. He said sorry as I walked away. I just feel very frustrated that I need to come back a third time when this could've been wholly prevented; the self-check out machine could've informed me to go to an associate to take out the security tags before I left the store, and the security alarm could've gone off as I was leaving! What's the point of a security tag otherwise? I hope that this issue is addressed so it doesn't happen to anybody else. read more

What an absolute disappointing when I wanted to buy a suit a kohls and the lady cashing me out would not match the online price like more stores do! She would not even ask the manager! It looked like a bomb went off in this store! They clearly do not hire any workers to make sure the store looks nice! My bag broke as soon as I picked it up. Absolutely horrible kohls! Store always looks like a tornado went through it. It's an unorganized mess. Customer service is nonexistent. And if your lucky enough to find something you want to buy you have to deal with the cashiers who are too busy chitchatting to check you out. My Kohl's card is in the trash. read more

No kid friendly carts! This is one of the first department stores I've seen that offer cards that does not have a place for a small toddler or a child! I guess they don't cater to mothers with children coming to the store! Although they have a good selection of toddler clothes, this would enhance their marketing I would think! The store is very crowded clothes are overstuffed on the tack and the ones hanging on the rack are so tightly hung together that it's hard to grab one out without others falling off the rack! read more

Webster store is wonderful for shopping until you get to check out. In past 2 weeks, before Black Friday, I been there 3. Each time was bad but last 1 was abysmal. Long line w/only 2 clerks, another joined but left to encourage later in line 2 self check, leaving us continue waiting, back to 2 clerks, 1 of which had issues w/her customer. I've been here several times lately because I've been taking my Amazon returns here. I usually just label them myself, but a few times that wasn't an option. There's never been anyone in line, they've always known what they were doing, and you get a 25% coupon when you return your stuff there. But the coupons have a lot of restrictions, so I haven't been able to use one yet. You can't use it on fragrances, lotion or Keurig pods. So far, that's the only things I've wanted. I really never shop in real stores anymore, which I'm sure is why they partnered with Amazon. I got a great deal on some Keurig pods I'd have never seen without coming here. There are some good deals here, but you have to go shopping in a real store, and who wants to do that anymore? Lol. read more

I've always enjoyed shopping at Kohl's. I went to do some Christmas shopping on Sunday taking advantage of extended hours. The store was relatively busy for the late hour. I was able to find some of the merchandise I was seeking after spending time on the website but not all. The store has gone through a major renovation to accommodate the Sephora store being plunked in the middle of it. I don't know whose idea it was to do that, but not the wisest of decisions. It just makes customers have to circle this giant box that rarely has more than 2 people in it whilst taking up a quarter of the store's floor space. It's presence causes customers to circle around trying to find the merchandise they are seeking. I gave up after a while exhausted. I finally checked out with the things I found frustrated from searching unsuccessfully for other things. The cashier was very sweet and got me checked out quickly. When I mentioned my feelings about the Sephora installation she said I was one of many who expressed the same thing. She can't do anything about it of course but she very sweetly apologized for the inconvenience caused by it. The installation is there so I suppose nothing can ber done but somebody really dropped the ball when the Kohl's/Sephora merger was decided. It might have been a better idea to place Sephora in a corner of the building instead of dead center in the store. To make matters worse they have, it seems, done this in all their stores. Oh well, at least I got some of the things I wanted. read more

I mean it's kohls, I have never been to a kohls where I was like this customer service is great, every kohls I have been to has a ton of miserable employees, usually not enough staff and looks like a bomb went off so don't expect much different here. On my most recent visit I came in when they first opened so you would think it would be cleaned and organized from the night crew, was completely wrong. There were still carts of clothes to be stocked from the day before all over the place, clearance had clothes all over the floor, folded items were not folded. Needless to say I didn't buy anything and usually don't because I get frustrated having to sort thru their mess. 95% of my kohls purchases are online because of this, I visit the store for Amazon returns and of course when kohls messes up my order. read more

The Amazon Return Employee in Kohl's Webster, NY made a personal comment on my returns several times. And it happened again today 2.11 when I left 2 packages. He said: "I noticed you are my 1st customer every day", which is not true at all. It was rude. He disturbed me with this kind of personal comment, and I felt uncomfortable. Sorry for Kohls that they can't find polite, kind and good employees. read more

The store was set up like a standard Kohls and fairly easy to navigate. We did our shopping based on sales like usual. When we got to the front of the store the line was incredibly long. It stretched almost to the bathrooms. While we stood waiting in line I was hopeful that it would move quickly. It did not. Over the store intercom, several times, someone called for more cashiers to the ladies checkout lanes. After almost 40 minutes we get to the front to cash out. I'm not in a great mood at this point but am ready to pay and leave. Not having enough help on a Sunday is bad business. The cashier had very little personality and didn't bother apologizing for the wait. She began ringing my items up and each one was the wrong price. They were on sale racks with many others just like them (mens Nike shorts and t-shirts). I told her that the prices were wrong and she said that she couldn't change prices and that the managers were all busy. Are you SERIOUS? After that wait we paid for the three or four items that rang up correctly and we left. Almost 2 hours of my day off wasted. We will stick with the Kohls closest to home and not return to the Webster location. Maybe the managers were all busy trying to write a schedule that won't have people waiting more than a half hour in line... Or fixing the way that their sale items ring up. Let's hope so! read more

Horrible customer service. Absolutely the WORST experience I have had to date. I needed to make a return. The girl at the return counter was clearly frustrated that I was returning Sephora items, so I offered to go directly to the Sephora counter to do so. Already, not off to a good start... I go over there, and the employee has her back to the counter and is on her cell phone (texting?) I had to say excuse me to get her attention. I explain that I would like to return the items and that they were gifts. I hand her the receipt. She then says "What are you looking for? Cash?" and also accuses me of using the products. I had not even opened either one. I tell her that a gift card would be fine. Then she says that she doesn't think she can do that and that the money will go back on the credit card of the person who purchased the gifts! I tell her that is a bit embarrassing, and she finally calls for help. Another woman comes over and tell her that she can issue me a gift card. She gets that figured out, and then hands me the receipt and no gift card. So I then had to ask for the gift card, not that I think I will be using it because I will NEVER return to this store. Disgusted by the attitude and lack of customer service skills. I have worked in customer service for many, many years and I have NEVER treated anybody the way that I was treated today. read more

I went to Kohl's for the first time today, because of their commercial and the sale for jeans. The woman was so sweet and showed me where I could get the kind of jeans that I was looking for. The cashier was very nice too. He had not been the register for a while, which explained why I was filling out a form for a charge card. The manager is the one I have an issue with!! He was very rude to the cashier and then said to me "You won't get the discount you wanted because that is only for Kohl's credit card." If I didn't need the jeans for later this week, I would have walked out! Needless to say I was Embarrassed and will NOT shop there again. Take all my money!! Kohls really knows how to do great sales. I went in today and it was a crazy sale, half the items were 75% off. The store was clean, the racks were jam packed, which is awesome and a pain at the same time, and they called in for reinforcements pretty quickly so the line moved along pretty quickly. read more
