The setup is an array of clothing and accessories from many different local vendors. They had a huge selection of vintage items from 50s, 60s, 70s, etc up to y2k, and they were all labeled very clearly. Everything was reasonably priced for the vintage condition, including a very cool Gunne Sax top. Service was great too! The shop owner was very nice, and the community seemed to truly value this shop. Many people stopped by for one last chance to shop and to say hi.

However, because of this, I can't fathom spending $70 on a strawberry printed rain jacket, for example. Highly trendy, but I personally don't like to overly spend on trends. If your closet is already a rainbow explosion, it might be perfect for you. That being said, when I walked in it was not much of a vintage shop. Over 90% of the clothes were brand new with a few vintage items sprinkled in. Perhaps it was more vintage-oriented when it opened, but it seems to just be a boutique now. I'd definitely visit again if only to see if something particularly catches my eye.

The unmarked Vera shelf is one of the first things you notice as it faces the entrance. The prices are comparable to other consigners, in the $12-$40 range, but their vast variety and stock sets them apart. There is even a basket full of VB coin pouches, wallets and wristlets -- some new with the tags still attached! Other designer brand bags I found besides Coach were Dooney & Bourke and Michael Kors. These were in the $20-$150 range. Overall, I am adding this stop to my east side second hand shopping route and adventures. Everywhere you look there's a mess of stuff all over the floors, piled high in the back and outside. I am surprised they haven't been shut down because some of it is a serious fire hazard. The three older women who appear to run it are always out back smoking and chatting and barely pay attention to customers. They will actually get mad when they have to go to the front of the store and cash someone out, and seem to prefer you give them cash in the parking lot which seems very questionable for a nonprofit. They're constantly paying "metal" music like it's the 80s and have weird satanic looking posters up front. The food pantry corner had flies all over the food like no one cleans it. Parking is abysmal and unorganized. They have posted operating hours of 10am - 5pm daily but do not always open at 10. The last time we stopped recently was around 11:15am. We were turned away by an older man taking out garbage who said nobody was there to open and he didn't know what was going on. He seemed very upset about that, and also grumbling about how much cleaning he was doing to prepare the store for whenever "the girls" decide to show up. He did not look well and probably shouldn't have been moving so much stuff. After waiting for a little longer my friend and I and about a dozen other people that were waiting outside just left. And once again we were reminded on why this is no longer an essential stop. It's very unorganized, unprofessional, and they just don't seem to care. Save yourself a headache and a possible wasted trip and skip this dump of a thrift store. I would rate it negative stars if I could.
