The Pittsford Wegmans and Calkins Pittsford are the larger cleaner and fancier ones around. Right across from the wegmans there's this plaza called Pittsford Plaza that includes an upscale steak house called Blue and Black, a pizza shop, a cafe for sandwiches/coffee, a J Crew Warehouse, Carter's, Michael's, Barnes and Noble, Swim school, Trader Joes, and a bunch of other little shops all int he same parking lot. For moms looking for a place to take their young children in and out and hanging out, this is the place to go to! The parking lot isn't dangerous like the Costco parking lot or the East Ave Wegmans (VERY dangerous). The shoppers aren't aggressive and are friendly. The crowd is safe and overall happy. Right across from this plaza there's even a Taichi Bubble tea, prometric, URMC Urgent Care, and a bunch of other upscale restaurants.

Unfortunately, one pair's stitching came out after one day. (Ugh). I'll have to mend them once we get home. Not the highest quality merchandise. Store was pretty well organized and clean. Not only that, but the staff here is kind and make processing my (many) returns super easy. They still don't have dressing rooms open, so I grabbed ~10 potential dresses and outfit options. I was shocked by the number of dresses I found that we're gorgeous and in my size. The clearance rack and dress shop at the back both had a lot of lovely floral options, along with some more formal wear. I ended up keeping a jumpsuit and floral sundress, but everything was really high quality and Marshall's typical low prices. Everything was under $30! You have to have patience at this location and leave yourself a little bit of time to find the gems amongst some of the less savory items and outfits. I love each department and find I am always likely to find what I am looking for.

The store is quite large and clearly does pretty great business, likely thanks to the sales they run on a regular basis and a strong email marketing program. Now that I am vaccinated I am back to a regular fitness routine, with masks still required. I take intensive HIIT classes so I was on the hunt for a mask that was breathable and stayed on and most folks pointed to this UA option. After taking my first class with the mask on I have to say I am SO underwhelmed. I had more success with a surgical mask and silicon bracket. The UA mask, while nice bc you don't inhale it, is really thick and dense with no breathability, making my face so hot the entire time I was working out I had like...swamp face? I couldn't get deep breaths in. The mask is nonreturnable and PRICEY at $30 so this is a disappointment. I'll use it for walks and brisk activities but am bummed out about they hype vs the experience. I digress - I also picked up some WAY marked down workout tanks and a new sports bra. Everything is easy to find and the staff was helpful and courteous. At least I got 50% off the bra with purchase of the mask? WOOF. If you're an athlete or have a kiddo who loves the brand, this is a great spot for deals. Happy shopping! Skip the UA mask for cardio!

The customer service has been so-so when I've visited. There's more than enough staff to help the number of people in the store but not overly helpful, I had to track someone down more than once for assistance. They've run some decent sales, they seem to be a pretty good mix of an opportunity to purchase new styles but also an opportunity to get good stuff at a reasonable price if you catch a good sale. It feels like they have a better selection of men's clothing vs womens. The right half of the store is mostly men's, front left is women's and back left is children's. Wish they had a bigger selection of women's clothing.

Going into the store I was very nervous that they were not going to have any cardigans. I went into the store and a very attractive girl was working inside. I went up to her and I asked her if they had any cardigans in stock. She told me that she didn't know if they had any cardigans but she was definitely going to check for me. She ended up finding six cardigans all of the same color and different sizes. They only had one size medium left which was fine because that's all I needed. The girl was very nice. I told her that I needed to get this for a dinner that I was attending. She was talking to me for a little bit and checked me out. When she rang my order up I handed her a $100 bill and she looked at me funny. The tag on the shirt had said $79. So I just had assumed that it was $80. She told me that the cardigan was only $20 because this was a J.Crew factory store. They have crazy deals at the store. If they had four different color cardigans I could've bought 4 for the price of 1. I told the girl that Manhattan the price you see is the price you pay. This J.Crew is a J.Crew factory store which means that they have a lot of discounts. Most of the stuff that they had in their store was not from the 2015 line of cloths. The factory store tends to carry older or whatever items that were left over from major J.Crew stores. Overall I do recommend coming here they have really good deals. If I am in the area and I do need clothes I would definitely stop back at this J.Crew.

You have to scrounge through the variety of apparels & sporting goods to find a real deal. While some items aren't discounted much ($199 lacrosse gloves), we had picked up a protective cage for $12, a protective helmet flap and a set of two hardballs for just $2 each. These items were truly going, going, gone in a hurry. But second time around, there was limited selection of sporting equipment and most were not real deals at all, either being less in demand items or with little markdown. Marked prices weren't worth visiting for while discount signage was confusing. Skip it or hit it? I can see why the consensus indicate it's hit & miss.

He loved the ring, really, which is quite impressive since he wears no other jewelry. It was still in excellent condition eleven years later when a communication debacle sent it into the depths of the City of Rochester's land fill. (Yep, accidentally got vacuumed up and discarded in the trash.) *deep, deep sigh* Fast forward to last week when we purchased his replacement ring. This time we went for Tungsten, which allegedly is hypoallergenic. My hubby's profession requires an inane amount of hand-washing so we are hoping he will have less of a reaction to soap buildup on his finger. He's worn it for a week and loves it equally. The staff at The Source is professional and kind. I wish they were a little more welcoming, and had a bit more enthusiasm, but that's somewhat trivial. They are typically older than those that are found at the mall jeweler's, which makes me feel like they have more experience and knowledge. It appears that they have a much longer turnover rate, so you may see the same employee -- even if you haven't visited in a while. I believe the prices to be reasonable and feel that's due in part to location: they're not paying the high mall rents. They are also not spending large amounts on flashy advertising campaigns. And again, I cannot overemphasize this enough: it's a locally-owned business! Gotta support the little guy whenever we can, but especially when they sell quality merchandise at an affordable price.

They did it in under 10 minutes while I waited, and since I had brought a battery, they did not charge me anything. I did give them a minor tip and was VERY grateful for their kindness and expertise. I am saddened that I did not get the young lady's who waited on me or the lady who was their watch expert. 100% great start to my day.
