Great selection of home goods, but poorly organized and managed. Full disclosure - I tried to go to Bed Bath and Beyond first, not realizing the entire chain had gone out of business, so this was not my first choice for a home decor store. Ended up here while looking for wall shelves and similar storage solutions. It was somewhat difficult for me to find what I was looking for. I kept ending up in the unofficial "storage solutions" section, which included over-the-door racks, drawer organizers, shower caddies, and various cabinet organizers. Figuring there had to be something else, I looked for an employee to ask for help and couldn't find anyone. The store was the size of a Wal-Mart, and the whole time I was there, I only saw two employees - one at a checkout counter and one stocking merchandise. Eventually, I asked the latter for help, and they seemed rather uninterested, like I was distracting them from something else. I usually prefer not being approached or guided by employees, but that's not the same as not being able to find any help when you have a question about a product. I did eventually find wall shelves in the "wall decor" section, which held things like picture frames, clocks, and wall art. That's not a problem, I just wish I was able to get help finding it and not have to just wander through the store lost. The shelves, clocks, and other wall installations were really haphazardly organized, as if they'd just been shoved onto the shelves in any random order. There wasn't a lot of variety in them, so we kind of settled for something mostly because we really didn't want to have to go to another home goods store. The store as a whole is... fine, I guess. But between the disorganization and the difficulties in finding anything (including someone to check you out), I wouldn't go there again. read more

Interesting place, wasn't sure what to expect walking in. My first impression was this place is disorganized and felt like a last day of a garage sale....prices slashed and bare spots everywhere. Maybe it's t he time of the season, maybe a new shipment is on it's way... or maybe they just don't restock items fast enough. Lot's of random items, but if your looking for multiple items good luck..... checking out the lamps, it seemed like you would only find 2 or 3 of the same ones. Same with the rugs, chairs and centerpieces....just seemed so random. I prefer looking at a lamp with a shade on it as a full piece then picking out one then the other....but that's me. Just seemed like way to much work. Wondering up and down aisles checking out all the different items, for me nothing jumped out as a must have. The prices seemed high for the quality I saw. Similar products could be found at target for a lower price. There didn't seem to be any employees walking around ready to assist any customers. They only time I ever saw any workers there were at the cashier.... definitely felt on my own. Needless to say, I didn't buy anything. read more

Aaaaaaah At Home. I make my plan to go, make my list, and then somehow STILL always end up on the verge of an anxiety attack each time I am there. How could so many trinkets possibly exist in one store?! How could I POSSIBLY choose from this many options?! Tres overwhelming, y'all - but with that comes the promise you'll find exactly what you're looking for, likely in 49 different variations. The store is MASSIVE and a must-stop for all things decor and furnishings. I do recommend going with a plan, or else you're bound to overspend. There is some autumnal wreath you just HAVE to have in your house, or a bar cart you didn't know could be so 1920s chic that you NEED. I AM TELLING YOU PEOPLE. BEWARE. Or else you will wind up at checkout after a full body blackout, wondering how $500 just mysteriously got added to your credit card. But really...this location has helpful staff and a clear setup, a big plus. I would recommend any new home owner fill their home with TRINKETS and joy here at At Home. read more

This place is huge!! I can't wait to buy a house to go back here and buy some awesome stuff. This place is all about decorating. I do believe they need another register especially during the holiday season. It is very clean and organized and hope it stays that way. I wanted to share my experience with this particular At Home in Henrietta, NY. I went into the store around 7:30pm on 12/29/18. I have never been inside an At Home store, and I likely will not again. Upon entering, we were looking to buy a couch. The store was having a post-Christmas sale and the store was insanely disorganized. It was hard to find anything in the store. While we were mainly looking for a couch, I also took a stop to look at some rugs. The rug section was not organized in any way and nothing was labeled with a price. It was literally just racks of random rugs. When we got to the couch section, we found one we liked but the model was not in stock. We decided to try and buy the floor model of the sofa. My husband went to find an associate and was gone for several minutes. He returned with a male associate who appeared very flustered, and interacted with us as if we were wasting his time. He looked around and confirmed the couch was out of stock. We asked how pricing worked for floor models and he scoffed at us as he informed we would have to talk to the manager. We asked if he could get her, and he rolled his eyes stating we need bring the couch to check out and deal with it up there. I didn't want to bring the couch up if we weren't going to agree on a price, and it felt like a waste lugging an entire sofa to the front, waiting in line with it, and wasting the cashiers time. Before we could try and ask again for the manager the associate was gone. We decided to bring the couch to the front. We waited in a very long line. The store was pretty busy and only two cashiers were working. We waited in line for about 20 minutes. We got to the cashier and asked how pricing on floor models worked. She called the manager on her radio for us. The manager shows up, not even making eye contact with us and says "what do you want" in a very rude, flat tone as she's doing other things around the cash register. We mention we are interested in the floor model and point out it's missing some pieces and other damage. She doesn't even look at the couch and just says "25%" and turns around and leaves. We were looking to get a bit more off the couch as we felt there was enough damage to get a bit better rate, but the cashier just reiterated "25% is what she told you." We decided to not buy the couch and offered to put it back for them. As we were taking the couch back, my husband told me when he went to find the associate earlier, he had actually talked to the woman we now knew was the manager. He said he asked her for assistance with a floor model couch and again, she didn't look at him, and rudely said "go find someone else" while she continued to do other things. When I heard that she had been rude to us not once but twice now, I stopped and left the couch where we were. Why should I bother to even be polite and put the couch back when we had repetitively been treated like trash? I have worked retail, so I undertook it can be stressful, but it is not appropriate to treat customers with such attitude or disrespect for no reason- we were perfectly polite to the employees the entire time. We left the store, and I will not be back. I furnish rental properties so it's their loss. They could have had a lot of future business. My only regret is I didn't get any of the horrible employees names. read more

A first impression review for anyone who is deciding whether to check it out. I would say, in a word, yes, it is worth checking out. The place is absolutely enormous and has pretty much everything you could want. They were still getting things settled as the soda coolers weren't even up and running yet. And for such a large store I thought the number of registers was a bit light. That said, give it a whirl because it wasn't a cookie cutter home store by any means. Lots of decorating options and plenty to look at. I will give it a more in depth review in the future, but worth checking out. read more

At Home is GIGANTIC. They have quite the selection of home decor, and essentials. When you first walk in, there is normally a few large displays of new arrivals, or seasonal items. They start taking out their Christmas stuff in August too. While I am on the topic of Christmas, I did enjoy the way they organized their aisles thematically, based on the style of your decor (Southern Charm, Eccentric, Winter Upscale, Woodland, etc). I definitely grabbed a few ornaments for gifts there this past season. Within the same zone of the store, they have all of their patio furniture and accompaniments. This is a great place to grab a new umbrella, cushions, deck furniture, citronella candles, mats, etc. The store has a lot of items for organization, kitchen items, lots of clocks, frames, and wall art, as well as knick knacks, lamps, rugs candles etc. I have picked up some nice baskets to store things neatly in my own home, as well as those velvet non slip pants hangers, picture frames, and a cheap mandolin for the kitchen. I do not think that all of the furniture is the best quality, and some of the things here are overpriced. I enjoy perusing leisurely, since the selection is great. I like to come here with an idea of what I would like, and if it isn't what I expected to pay, I will head over to HomeGoods or the Christmas Tree Shop afterwards. read more

First visit to this new store in Rochester . I was underwhelmed . Several items I was interested in had no price tags . I didn't get a cart because I didn't have anything I was planning to buy . I saw something at the back of the store I wanted to buy , but they don't keep any carts back there , so I didn't buy it . I did find a small frame and had to wait in a line of 10 people with two cashiers working ; I almost left it there and walked out .Being a new store, I would have guessed they would over staff at first since so many people want to check it out . It was fairly busy for a Monday afternoon , so I am assuming that is why it was busy . You never get a second chance to make a good first impression . read more

Stopped back here today. The place was packed. I love the little vignettes they put together. Fun to look at. Lots of rugs, mirrors, chairs, etc. Great place to get a unique wedding gift. I bought an outdoor rug for $19.99. Obviously not high-quality but cute and will feel better on the feet than a hot pool deck. One bad point to the day - the ladies room was disgusting. Now it was because there are obviously people out there that don't clean up after themselves but the lack of toilet paper is all on the store. They need to check these things several times a day on a busy Saturday. I reported it to the cashier so hopefully it was taken care of. read more

I've only been here once so far, but I was definitely impressed. This place is like Homegoods on steroids. If you're looking for something for your home, it's very likely you'll find it here. All types of furniture (indoor and out), garden accessories, cleaning items, decorative pieces of all kinds, mattresses, kitchenware, etc. Prices vary widely, especially in the furniture section. There's bound to be something in all price ranges. I don't think you can go wrong stopping in here for a quick look, although be warned, that quick look might turn into a leisurely stroll through the aisles. At Home is massive, and I could easily spend an hour or two in here. read more

Been there a few times, got some fun things, but will not be returning again due to the horrible customer service. Here are some tips to the cashier Emily: -stop paying attention to your phone and maybe you'll hear when a customer says "this is a return" and maybe you won't get so pissy when you have to void it after ringing it in. -don't refuse when a customer asks for a manager to fix a problem just because it's something you're incapable. A customer shouldn't have to ask more than once. -keep your snarky attitude inside until after the customer leaves, if you must be so unprofessional. -don't ever, EVER, roll your eyes when dealing with a customer. Yeah, maybe my girl didn't see that, but i did. I had a hard time keeping my mouth shut when i saw that, but by then i just wanted to get the hell out of there. Emily, i think maybe you should choose an assembly line job because clearly customer service is not your thing. The only reason I gave this place two stars is because it's fun to look at all the stuff, but the check out situation is not fun and needs to get more organized. Good luck. read more

This felt like a mix between Michael's and Home Goods but the size of Ikea. It even has a huge warehouse feel with concrete floors and industrial shelving. They literally offer everything one could need for the home. You need a pillow? They've got 800! You need a fake plant? They've got 30! You need some wall art? They have 17 rows! The quality and price are about average but it's definitely worth a shot to take a look when decorating your home! read more

My online order was a disappointment when received. I ordered a small size decorative starfish pillow. Cost was $14 with $10 shipping. I finally received the single item pillow. It came in an "At Home" labeled cardboard box with no plastic wrap or cover, just the pillow in a box. The pillow was filthy on both sides. It looked as if it had been pushed around a dirty floor or counter, and it was covered in glitter. Instructions said spot clean only. So, I did what I could to clean the grime off this white pillow, but it still looks dirty. I will not be returning it, as it is not a high-dollar item and not worth my time, but I certainly will never order online from At Home again, as I am now assuming they do not have a standard of quality assurance for shipped orders. Was going to use it as a throw pillow on my bed...but too yucky. Put it in a basket instead, with some other nautical items. read more

Much of the other merchandise seemed to be of the same quality as Big Lots items except with larger prices. Also the women's restroom was filthy! Not likely that I'll be back!
