Bought lamps was forced to pay a $99 delivery fee. I was told that would include set up and placement even though they were lamps. They were delivered in the box they were not set up I called to complain. I was only given a partial refund of 53.99. I was told they could not do a full refund because the lamps were delivered. I'll preface this by stating that the Sales staff (Matt in particular) was excellent; this review is not a reflection of them in any way. Product quality control, on the other hand, is terrible. I purchased a leather power reclining sofa & chair to be delivered on August 13th. The sofa was damaged at some point prior to the delivery (scuffs & small rip/tear in the leather). The reclining action on the sofa is also defective; only one side works properly. I was told by customer service that the sofa can be replaced. It's now September, and I'm still sitting on a defective/damaged sofa with no discernable timeframe on when it will be replaced. On finalizing some last minute selections of the interior design for a new home we are building my wife suggested we check out Ashley Homestore for some benches for the gourmet island. We got to the store and were promptly greeted by Tracy Cronk, a friendly sales person for the store. After explaining what we were looking for she promptly took us to the back of the store where the bar stools were. After looking at those I told her we were also in the market (or at least I was) for home theatre seating for my new man cave, and of we went. To my pleasant surprise I found more options then I could image to choose from with both manual and electric recliners at a price point that would still allow me to get that wall fitting 4K LCD! Next we told Tracy we were also going to need a new dinning room table for the new morning room and again, she showed us more options then we could imagine all within a budget that would not break our already strained bank account. We found that the store had just a ton of great selections and while the pricing was very reasonable the build quality of everything we looked at was much better then other "inexpensive" furniture stores. Both my wife and I were thrilled with what we say and can't thank Tracy enough for the time she spent with us show what we might want to consider for our new home. Now if we could only get the builder to somehow wave a magic wand and have the house completed in just 3 days instead of 90! So this was our first time and most likely the last time we shop at Ashely...First off the sales staff was very friendly and then the fun began...I ordered a bed, mattress, box spring, bed cover and sheet set on-line and after two days or so they emailed me to say that they can no longer get the box spring I ordered on-line and they took it off my bill...Next day I get another email and they said oopsie we cancelled the entire order and thus I needed to once again shop on line...Sucks!...So I did and now we'll see how long it takes before we see our entire order including the in-store purchase of two living room sets...Wish us luck! read more

The sales guy was helpful until he made the sale. Once that was done, it was like he didn't want to have anything to do with us going forward. He refused to answer calls, texts or to call me back. My sister went through the same thing when she got her couch with a different sales guy. If you buy something, just call the customer service department and waiting on hold for 20 mins. They are pretty much the best part of Ashely. Too bad they don't earn commissions because they deserve it more than my sales guy did! read more

Was more than willing to wait the 8-10 week delivery timeframe, no problem. Then I learn after week 7 that it's now doubled to 16 weeks and now I just feel lied to. I did hear from a source that they know the actual timeframe, tell customers a shorter one and just assume they'll go along with the extra-extra wait once they've already been waiting a while. I've waited for thousands worth of furniture for two months at this point and they expect me to wait another two months for products I've paid for in full upfront. Completely unacceptable experience. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I'll summarize my experience: we were sold furniture that didn't existed, told the furniture could be delivered even though we were moving, TERRIBLE customer service experience, multiple mistakes made, still don't have my furniture after 6 months. Here are the details: Met a salesman. It was the last day of the month. I'm sure he was just trying to make commission. He sold us furniture June 30th and promised us that it could be delivered to our new home in PA. Told us that it could take a few weeks due to the pandemic. We ordered a TON of furniture. Even opened a credit card. We were SUCKERS. Next day, we got a call. They actually didn't even have the couch we wanted in stock. At all. Nor did they have a lamp we ordered. I questioned why we would have been able to order the items if they were not available. Didn't get a clear answer. Ok fine, we bought a couch else where and got it within 2 days. Two days after that, we got a text message that our furniture wouldn't be delivered until 2021. We called Ashley. They said "oh we don't deliver to you." We said we are aware but we're told that it could be done. Gave us a hard time. I have the salesman's name. They said- ok we will make it work. We waited 3 months. Multiple phone calls. Multiple cancelations of delivery dates. We liked the furniture and it was the right price so we decided to wait. FINALLY we were able to eat at a kitchen table and sleep on an actual bed instead of an air mattress. THREE MONTHS. They got the order wrong. Brought the wrong chairs. And the order was not complete. Didn't have the dresser or end tables. Fine. We will continue to wait. It has now been 6 months. We still do not have our furniture. I have called multiple times. The customer service representative said "aren't you aware of the pandemic?" Actually I am. Because I am a health care worker. So rude. I got to work everyday. The pandemic is not an excuse for bad customer service. Our furniture was supposed to be delivered Friday. Canceled yesterday. Got a text today. They would like to reschedule. Called during BUSINESS HOURS and they are "closed". I would return what is left of my order, however, I have part of the bedroom set and worked really hard to be able to purchase furniture for my home. No one has offered us anything for our trouble. I would like to start to charge Ashley Furniture interest on my purchases. I don't think it's right that I should be charged interest on a purchase that I still do not have. My husband and I have been happy Ashley furniture customers since we moved into our house, and always have a positive experience going to pick out furniture. When we went this past weekend, John was FABULOUS - he introduced himself, showed us around, but then also gave us the space to look ourselves and checked in on us after a little bit, which I loved, since it gave my husband and I time to talk by ourselves and decide what we want. Taking back the below review. THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY ENTIRE LIFE. Do not buy from this store. Delivery was terrible and is still an on-going process. Pretty crappy experience today. Bought over 6k worth of furniture years ago and recieved a $600 gift card due to some mistakes that were made. Been shopping online for a new TV stand and actually found one at Ashley that I fell in love with for $1259... thought awesome now I can use my gift card. Nope! can only use my gift card in store. No biggie, I get to see it in person before I buy and I head to Henrietta. I find my tv stand and its beautiful! but now the price is $1999. I ask about the price difference and they say no problem, we will match the online price and all is good. Until we get to payment, now all the sudden we cant match the online price if I use my gift card. The gift card you gave me. You won't price match your own company and let me use the gift you gave me?!?!? I never walked out of a place so fast and I will not be back. Delivery service is awful their guys showed up and immediately say "oh this ain't gonna fit in here" making it obvious they didn't even want to try. Gave it one try in a way that obviously wouldn't and would not even bother to try any other way. We're very quick to just assume that nothing would work. Now I'm out of a sofa and the delivery fee. Furnished a whole apartment, two bedrooms, sofa loveseat table with chairs and two mattresses...extremely pleased with my salesman. John. But my delivery was less than great. I purchased my furniture on Nov. 13 an was set for delivery on December 14. On December 11 I get a call that my sofa, loveseat, bed and dresser are delayed until January...merry Christmas to me...then when they deliver my son's bed theres no hardware for assembly...so I have a bed in pieces and mattress on the floor. We started off with a great experience in the store, unfortunately, we quickly realized that there is a difference between salesmanship and customer service. Their back end support leaves a lot to be desired. My girlfriend and I have never purchased new furniture, so we were nervous, even paranoid that something would be damaged, late, and it would turn into a hassle. It turns out, we had reason to be paranoid. A saleswoman guaranteed us that the order would be correct, and on time. It was neither. Two weeks late. Meanwhile, family and friends come to town, for a get-together that we had wanted the couch for. Major bummer. Then, it finally comes... wrong color. It looks awful in our living room, but they at least let us keep it temporarily. Expect another call back and reschedule... another two weeks for the right color, after the manager briefly tried to pass it off as though WE made the mistake "lighting in the store versus lighting in the home" B.S. The couch itself is nice, well made. And they gave us a gift card for the trouble. But it was a LOT of trouble. It just sucks when you spend a lot of money at a place and as soon as that credit card is swiped, their customer service ends. You feel like a commodity, not a customer. read more

Bait and switch make sure what you think you are getting and make sure it is on your paperwork or they will do nothing! We purchased a dining room table, chairs, bench, server, two dressers, and a nightstand. Furniture looks nice enough but low quality. The table had some minor damage when it arrived along with one of the dressers. We had 5 tables delivered to replace the damaged one and EVERY single one was damaged! We were frustrated and inconvenienced. We finally requested they refund us fully. After a disagreement, the furniture was picked up and waiting for refund. Also requested three new dresser drawers due to issues. They were promptly delivered and two didn't even fit the dresser we have! I gave up. I would only recommend Ashley if you want substandard furniture! Will never shop there again! The one star is for the kind delivery people. read more

If we could rate Ashley a zero we would. We ordered a couch, chair and loveseat. The couch and loveseat pieces were damaged-threadbare areas, fabric sewn irregularly, the bottom cover of the couch disconnected and hanging down, dented arms, and so much more. Ashley's policy is to report damage within 48 hours of receipt. We notified them within 24 hours. Well, that was on 2/28. Here we are on 4/1 and we still have the furniture. Numerous emails were sent by us with photos that were requested by Ashley. Ashley did not respond to the emails forcing us to keep having to call them to ask for resolution. When they finally agreed to pick up the furniture, to top it off, we arranged our work schedules to be available for the pick-up window they assigned us. We received a call at 9:15 am saying they had to push our pick-up time later because they were "running late." Huh? you are already running late at 9:30 am? We had to rearrange our work schedules again due to their lack of service. STAY AWAY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE. The furniture is cheap, service is the WORST we have ever experienced, and they practice a total lack of accountability from store manager down to service intake. We would rather sit on the floor than ever buy anything again from Ashley. Zero on the rating scale! read more

I ordered a recliner back in September and now it is February and they cannot give me a date for delivery. They cannot even give me an anticipated date of delivery. Their excuse is COVID, but it does not take nearly 6 months to make a chair. I did anticipate some delay, but not 6 months with no idea when it will be delivered. The employees here were rude, inattentive, and disrespectful. Most of them were snickering behind their desks, and the one person that was helping me decided to answer my questions with attitude and sass. She talked down to me as though I did not know what I wanted and as though I was a young child. She was very passive aggressive to me and at one point said something along the lines of, "When you figure out what your looking for, you can come talk to me." as if she didnt have time for me, and then proceed to walk over to another customer that just walked in the door.the contents of the store looked and felt cheaper than many of the other furniture stores in Rochester. No wonder that us and the people that walked in were the only people in the store at 2:00 on a Sunday. read more

I have received the worst assistance from Ashley Furniture in Upstate NY, from the Henrietta location to the corporate office in Batavia. It took over 4 months for me to receive my furniture. The ottoman to the sectional I purchased came 2 months later and is of poor quality. It is so big, with no support, and slumps in the middle. The sectional isn't great either. Everyone comments on how bad the ottoman looks when they come in my house. I have been calling for months to return it and get a credit but they have told me once it is delivered there is nothing they can do. I am so disgusted with this company and would never recommend them, or their furniture! Go elsewhere!! read more

I purchased a sofa on 23rd November and was said that it will be delivered in 7-10 days. I called customer care department almost 5 times and now they are saying it will be delivered on 31st December and that is an estimated date and they have not confirmed the date yet. I sold my old sofa in my home considering it will be delivered by 21st December like the customer dept said in one of my call made. Now i don't have sofa in my home. They are saying that delivery is not in their hands. So whose hands it will be there and as a customer whom should we ask. Will we buy a sofa if said it will be delivered after a month or the delivery is not in their hands. Offering $50 gift card will solve my problem... sorry it won't. This company is garbage.. We had a great experience in the store and then it all went downhill fast! I went to the Rochester store and purchased multiple items....after getting them three weeks late, the table had two holes in it and was missing the bench that it was displayed with in the store, the coffee table and entertainment center were both bent up and scratched. Then after the delivery drivers had already left, they called and said that they forgot to drop off the shelves for the entertainment stand, I had already left to go back to work and the driver was giving me a hard time because I could not go back to the house to accept them, turned out he left his drill bits at my house and wanted them back. I called customer service to try and resolve all of my issues and they were very rude, basically saying that they cant help me but here is a gift card to shut you up. When I asked them about the missing bench I was told that the sales person messed up so I would have to buy it separately. are you kidding me, how is this my fault? I asked if I could refund the whole order and they told me that there would be a re-stocking fee..Oh My Gosh, again..how is this my fault? I tried to use the gift card and that itself was a whole new battle! You cannot use the gift cards online ( I live over an hour away). I went to the store to use them and you do not get the online prices so everything is more expensive, even though wall art is carry with most of the time, this does not apply when using gift cards. So now I am waiting 2-4 weeks for one picture that I have to go pick up when it comes in or I would have had to pay another 70 bucks to have it delivered. As far as the bench that I shouldn't have had to pay for, they were supposed to call me when it came in, they did not!! I called them and they said it has been there and that I can pick it up Tuesday thru Saturday between 10-6...I sent someone with a truck to pick them up on a Wednesday and they said they are not able to get to the product. Plus even though they messed up, they would not assemble or deliver my damn chairs. I do not understand these people, I have worked in retail for 15 years and never ever heard of anything so crazy. My joy of getting a new house and new furniture was absolutely ruined by Ashley's Homestore. Let me start from the beginning. My husband and I ordered a living room set a couple months back and we received the furniture this past Friday (which was a couple weeks prior to the original estimate in terms of delivery time) and are extremely pleased with the set. The 2 guys who delivered the furniture were pleasant and efficient and also arrived on-time within the window we expected. All positive so far. At the time we purchased the furniture, they were offering a $100 gift card with any purchase over a certain dollar amount. They gave us the gift card on Friday, along with the furniture delivery. Knowing that we needed a few accent pieces, I decided to head out to Ashley that afternoon, gift card in hand. My Mom accompanied me to the Ashley in Henrietta and we were greeted by a salesperson named Jim. He gave us the hard sell on the deals they had going on (as I know these salesmen and women are trained to do) and I politely told him that we had just purchased a set and that I was in the store with a gift card and I just wanted to browse. Thinking I could get the a little bang for my buck, my Mom and I headed back to the clearance section of the store. Jim approached us a second time (less than 5 minutes later) to see if he could help us and I politely told him that we were browsing. After I told him we were all set a second time, there was a distinct change in his attitude as it is my personal belief that we were second class citizens to him at this point due to the fact that it became obvious we were not there to make a large purchase. A little bit later after taking our time looking around, I found two lamps, as well as a set that included some candlesticks, a picture frame, etc. that I wanted to purchase. As we were walking towards the registers, I was confronted by Jim and he asked me if I "took" these items out of an area where I wasn't "supposed to". (There is an area in the clearance section with a sign that says something to the effect of 'do not go past this point'). I was so shocked and taken aback by this accusation and the fact that he had spoken to my in a way I don't think I'd experienced since being scolded as a small child. I told him no, that I did not take them from where I was not supposed to and asked him if he did not want us to purchase these items. He continued to be extremely arrogant, rude and totally shovanistic. I believe that if it was my husband and I shopping together and not my Mom and I, that he would have taken a different tone. Anyway, I told him flat out that I was really upset by the way he asked me that question and that I had had a great experience with Ashley up until now. He said in a condescending tone, "that's why I said I was SORRY". Towards the end of the transaction (which took another 20 minutes because he had no idea how to ring anything up) when I had to sign the paperwork, he very passively aggressively and forcefully set the pen down in front of me. A co-worker of his who noticed this transaction provided us with the name of the manager, Lisa. Immediately upon leaving, I called Lisa from the parking lot. She was outstanding and apologized for my experience. I appreciated her gesture of also sending out a $50 gift card in hopes that I come back to the store (however, I told her I was not after money at all, just totally aghast at my experience in the store and wanted to share it with her). However, after letting how we were treated settle in my mind for a couple of days, I have to say I continue to feel extremely disappointed in the customer service I received and the lack of disrespect. You should be respected regardless, but I feel this is made that much worse considering we spend 3-plus thousand dollars on furniture there. We won't be returning to Ashley and I sure my parents won't be purchasing there, either, after my Mom also experienced the poor treatment by Jim. It is a shame because we had a five star experience from top to bottom until Friday, but after interacting with Jim, I can only offer a 1. Ashley needs to emphasize the importance of the customer experience in their training of associates (and maybe be a little pickier in their recruitment). read more

I had a horrible experience at this store. My husband and I purchased a dining set with a server, a sectional, and a tv stand. We ordered these items on May 3rd. We received a call late in May that everything was in with the exception of one piece of the sectional. So we told them to bring everything else. The delivery team was beyond rude. When they arrived with part of the sectional they said " I can get this on your house but there will be damage to the couch and wall." Naturally, I told them that if that was the case we wouldn't be accepting the sofa. They then started to drill into my slider door and fit in the sectional. Then they told me that the table was cracked and that one of the chairs was damaged. They then left another damaged chair behind. So, when the delivery team ( with no apology) left that day I had half a sofa, no table, 5 of six chairs, ( one damaged) and a TV stand. I called and complained and was told I would get compensated. I received 200.00 since the sofa was on back order. When you spend 4,600.00 , 200.00 does not compare to having half of your furniture for four months. I called Ashley and asked if they could deliver the table ASAP. They said it all depends on when the manufacture can get the table , and they cannot guarantee a date. So, a few weeks later I called and asked about both my table and couch. I was told that the table would be in but the couch was still on back order. I then complained bc I ordered these items in May- it was now July and my furniture still was not in. The manager then told me she located the sofa and that would come with the table on the following Friday. Well- the delivery team arrived with the table , but then no sofa! I called and again they " couldn't make any guarantees" I finally received all of my furniture and it is nearly August! Again , I ordered these items may 3!!!! I will absolutely never shop at Ashley furniture again. It took four months for my furniture to come in and I was never compensated for the time that needed to be taken to wait for several deliveries throughout the last few months to finally get what I purchased in May! No one ever contacted me to apologize. All they have to say is that " they don't guarantee anything". If you do decide to purchase furniture ( and all joking aside) make sure you do not need it for a few months because it can take several to receive. Also, if it's damaged you must wait it out all over again! if you go to Raymour your furniture takes 3 days and is immediately replaced if there is an issue. If a company is going to compensate you for having half of a couch and half a dining set it should be 15-20 percent (excluding he discount they say they give you when you purchase the set). The only positive note is that our salesman was very nice and helpful. He did not have any control over when we received our items. I am only writing this review because I wish I would have known that I would have half a table and half a sectional for four months despite paying upfront. The 28 day time frame is not guaranteed- and Ashley will tell you they cannot guarantee anything. If you need furniture right away - do not risk paying and not having furniture for months. read more

Before I write my review, I just want to say that I shopped here but haven't purchased anything. Over a year ago, I needed furniture. I explored many area stores, but found a great bedroom set online on Ashley's website. I went to the Henrietta location to see it, and the lady offered me a great deal. They wanted to sell as much as possible (for some kind of contest) so she offered me 30% off. Usually they don't offer more than 20%. I liked the set, but did not buy because I hadn't seen it in person. I ultimately went with another set from another place (with which I am happy), but I was pleased to see her go out of her way to give me the best deal possible. Additionally, Ashley has a policy that if you receive your furniture and realize you don't like it, or it doesn't fit, or whatever the reason, you can send it back at no cost to you. Recently, I visited their store again because I need a new mattress. The salesman took me back to the mattress room, took his time, and really did a thorough job helping me select the best one. (For the record, I have not yet made a purchase, but did like their selection and may choose one from their showroom.) The guy gave me a history of mattress making (almost like a museum exhibit, complete with visuals and hands-on box springs) and told me which mattresses would be best for me and why. He even evaluated my posture on each mattress to help me make the best selection. This guy is more than a salesman, and I was surprised he knew as much as he did about the topic. It's really refreshing to see someone this helpful in a store. Most salesmen (especially mattress salesmen) are uninformed about their products and just want you to buy something so they can cash you out and get commission. It's clear he really likes his work. I am still waiting on delivery. I purchased my sectional OVER a month ago. They have called twice and told me "half of my sectional is in" ... it's a sectional?? I don't want half I would like the entire thing. The salesmen who sold it to me back in November assured me I would have this by Christmas. He lied. Chad was helpful and friendly and spent time with us showing us different options. He helped create a friendly, laid back environment where we felt comfortable discussing our options. When we came in to make the purchase, Chad was not working and Jon S. took it from there. He was helpful while discussing financing options and shared stories with us as his experience working at the store. He even introduced us to the stores general manager. I want to start off by saying that my boyfriend and I have had the worst experience with shopping at this store. We purchased furniture over 4 weeks ago and have been told almost everyday for the past week that the furniture would be here "tomorrow". We were told two of the three pieces of our sectional were here but that the truck left that morning without the third piece so we have had to wait another week for the last piece! I am extremely upset for the lack of communication between staff and delivery vehicles. I wish instead of calling in and being told that we would receive a phone call first thing in the morning (which we never received) for an exact delivery time, that an employee actually made the time and effort to give us a correct delivery date. Not only has my boyfriend changed his work schedule three times this week to accommodate the "supposed" delivery, but I have been let down everyday when I come home from work with a new apartment and no furniture to relax on! I will never be shopping here again and I advise that if you want furniture in a relative manor...that you dont either. read more

Worst experience ever! Ordered two couches and an ottoman. Delivery team forgot to load the ottoman and were not going to be back in our area for a full month! We had decided to purchase from Ashley based solely on the delivery date (we were hosting a NYE party and NEEDED the furniture prior to NYE). So, no ottoman for the party. Called customer service - they did not even offer an apology for the mistake! One week in - Couch #1 breaks. Call in a service call. All went well. Two months in - Couch #2 breaks. Call in service call. No one calls to set up appt. Call back 7 days later, on hold for 45 min (finally had to hang up). Call each day for 8 days and am on hold for such an unreasonable amount of time that I had to hang up each time. Day 18 from initial call in for service - I go to the store. Staff does not greet me, barely acknowledges that I am there. Only one person out of 8 that I counted has the ability to help me and that one person is on the phone. When she is available to help she has to call the SAME number that had me on hold everyday for over a week. She says "we are going to have to wait awhile". I explain that I am tired of waiting and she is kind enough to call on my behalf while I go back to work (note - this is the ONLY member of staff that helped in anyway at all). Later in the day a woman from service calls to tell me that all she can do is A) email the 3rd party repair company or B) Give me their number to call myself. No offer to call for me, no attempt to right the wrong (of having my service call go ignored for over 20 days). I have never had such poor customer service in my life. I get things go wrong but not one time did this store and its staff attempt to help or rectify the situation. They simply did not (and do not) care. read more

This company is shameful. We had a horrible experience from start to finish. We began our journey in store looking at furniture. We were harassed by our salesmen Matt N at the Ashley Henrietta location our entire stay. We were in the process of purchasing a large amount of furniture totaling over $2900. This decision naturally is not one that the average working couple can take without some consideration. Our salesman Matt would not even give us the courtesy of 10 minutes amongst ourselves to talk and think about our decision without coming back striking up a conversation in an attempt to speed up the process. business hours for Ashley are normally until 9 PM. We were at the store until almost 10 o'clock. The reason being was that Matt and his eagerness to get a sale managed to rush through our credit application process and a new system and glitch out our order. His supervisor had to step in and fix it and he was giving her push back the entire time. The other salesman were making off color jokes about Matt's in accuracies. After all this we still had to come back and re-sign our order because Matt has screwed up the order so bad that his supervisor couldn't close it all the way that night. This was on May 20. The next day my girlfriend had a very long shift and was going to come in when she was able to sign the paperwork as it was in her name. We made the mistake of giving Matt our phone number and he proceeded to blow up her phone with text messages asking why she wasn't there yet and why she couldn't just come in that second. The entire reason we had to come in a second time was because of Matt's original mistake. We finally completed our order and thought we were OK and that the rest of it would go smoothly. Fast forward three months and right before we were set to move we get a call saying that our order had actually been scheduled for a delivery date a week late and that it was delayed from that day even further. I had to make almost a dozen calls around the area in a scramble to get our furniture delivered on time. In the process we were given the runaround and even hung up on by Rob At the Henrietta store. The last solution that was provided to us by our corporate was to deliver half of our furniture that they were set them off and half of it a week later. We excepted with even more store credit then we had already received due to the original system screw up back up on the date of sale. On the day of the first delivery, our two delivery drivers rushed in with our stuff and did not assemble it all the way. We found a screw on the floor and the USB charging components of our nightstands were not installed but instead of hiding in their packaging in the drawers of our items. We paid over $100 for a delivery and installation. When we ordered our furniture we had requested that a particular duvet cover would be held at the store as that was going to be discontinued back in May. Matt agreed but come to find out Matt did not follow through and hold the item. After a conversation with corporate today, it turns out that not only did Matt not hold the item, duvet covers as a whole have actually been discontinued. We bought a duvet insert which was delivered to us upon the first half of our delivery and corporate told me today that that insert is not refundable or returnable. The rep who I spoke with today said she could not promise another duvet cover could be found so she said that there might not be anything we can do and we were out another $129 for product we now can't use. We are hoping that we get all of our furniture that is supposed to be delivered this week and that nothing else screwed up this process even more. I think it is an understatement to say that I would highly suggest buyer beware whenever considering Ashley is a furniture source. Is a good chance you will receive a headache from the time you walk in Until the time that you get your furniture delivered and installed possibly incorrectly. Steer clear of this company. read more

This is a review for my purchase. I have yet to get the furniture delivered. Delivery and end-satisfaction is part of the overall experience rating, so I'll be back here to update this review. The staff was very friendly, all of them. The salesman was helpful, not too pushy, and gave us the space we needed to make our own decision, which is what we wanted. He was not there later on, when the purchase was finalized, and the staff at the point of sale began making me feel very uncomfortable (Hence the loss of stars). I nearly walked out and went to Lazyboy. In the end I found what I was looking for at Ashley and paid what I expected to pay. Without giving away who I am with the fear of them sabotaging my delivery, I won't explain further about my complete experience at this time. Speaking of delivery, it is scheduled 4 weeks from my purchase date. If that goes smoothly then I'll still recommend Ashley to friends and family and will be much happier than the 2 stars I am now. read more

This whole Ashley experience has been a nightmare!!! Starting with my initial delivery date. I wanted the bedroom furniture delivered before my birthday in November. I was notified that the mirror was broken. I requested the entire set be delivered when the mirror was replaced. There was no compensation for my inconvenience. Another delivery date was scheduled. When the set arrived the post were too high for my ceiling. The dimensions advertised where not accurate. This set had to go back. Again there was no compensation. I came in and tried to give Ashley another try. I reordered. The delivery date was not to my satisfaction, 1/10/16. At that time I told the scheduler I am not willing to wait that long and was going elsewhere. She said she would note that. I get a call today requesting to schedule a delivery date? I will be charged over $400 for freight fees. Lucky me. My experience with my salesperson Alyssa was great. I really liked her. Personally I think her character would better be appreciated at a more reputable furniture store. read more

We spent so much money on couches at this location that I'm not sure we will ever actually see. We have been lied to on numerous occasions about when they'd be coming. What is more upsetting than the delivery date that changes by WEEKS every time we speak to someone (which always comes after OUR outreach, not theirs, of course), is that when you're promised a call back, it never, ever comes. Doesn't matter if it's a store associate or a manger. At one point, my husband somehow ended up speaking to a mystery woman who identified herself as "the highest person customers are allowed to speak to at the store" (her exact words), he said was essentially assured that our order did not matter to her. I am thoroughly disgusted and I cannot listen to "it's COVID-19 delays" one more time because somehow, every other furniture chain has managed to maintain decency, customer service, and eventual delivery. Three months later and we haven't had as much as a nod of recognition that we were sold a bag of beans when our associate told us we could probably be looking at an October delivery.
