Came here for some items I found online for work, bright red buckets for a great price. I was surprised at how big this place is. It was just after Halloween, so there were one section of marked down fall and Halloween decorations. Then it was aisles upon aisles of Christmas ornaments, lights, trees, stocking and any decoration you could imagine. I loved how organized everything was, each section by product ..even down to the color. Walking around the store was interesting, from the different art sections, frames to the many wooden signs. (seemed they had a sign for everyone) I needed some help finding the red buckets online, a nice salesman walked be right over to them. Really to have the extra service. Seemed like everything was a marked at a good price. I will have to come back to check out all the different seasonal items. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE HOBBY LOBBY! The Rochester area has numerous craft stores: JoAnn Fabrics (a stone's throw from Hobby Lobby, in the Webster Target plaza), Michaels, AC Moore, Dan's Crafts and Things... Hobby Lobby is my FAVORITE! This craft store is HUGE! They are in the old Chase Pitkins store. There is so much to look at. I could wander around the store for HOURS! Like another Yelper said, practically everything is on sale, pretty much all the time (30%-50% off). I do have the Hobby Lobby app (recommended!!) so I have a 40% off coupon on me at all times, just in case I need something that is not on sale. NOTE: THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT COMPETITORS COUPONS LIKE OTHER CRAFTS STORES DO - so get the app!! And only one coupon can be used at a time. I have made the mistake of going to JoAnn's PRIOR to going to Hobby Lobby and spending more money at JoAnn's. I find most things at Hobby Lobby a little cheaper. Now I will check out Hobby Lobby first. I also find they have a more unique selection. Things you will not find at other craft stores in the area and their fabrics are very high quality. Not sure how Webster, Ny got so LUCKY with having this crafting-lovers-GEM-of-a-store. It's awesome! I did all my own wedding decorations and saved so much money!!! I do hate when I hear rumors about this Christian-based store closing due to the government wanting to dictate their health insurance policy and make it mandatory to offer birth control. (I would seriously cry if they closed!!!) Oh yeah, another aspect of their Christian values is being closed on Sundays. No big deal in my book. It's nice that they give their employees and day of rest and time with their families. read more

I love that Hobby Lobby opens at 9am, because I was in need of a few supplies for a tutoring session at 9:30. Hobby Lobby saved the day with kite and glider kits that I used for my lesson. They also had a variety of other interesting kits that piqued my interest. I ended up buying more than I planned on, but they will all get put to use. I like their large assortment of home decor items and I may be back soon because a few items caught my eye. And their associates were so kind and helpful. read more

I am a crafter of all sorts of things. Once I set my mind to something. I head to the craft stores. Hobby Lobby is one of my favorites. I tend to find more of the items ( and then some) that I need while I'm there. I am like a kid in a candy store. My eyes light up when I walk in the door read more

The employees at this location are miserable. They were so rude to us while we were shopping! Very unfriendly and rude. This store really needs to work on customer service. Very disappointed!! read more

Always enjoy coming here to look for wall art and household goodies. I've decorated my home with many things from Hobby Lobby since they opened. My kids enjoy all of the fun craft ideas they have. Lots of great kits for kids. They have coupons available too. Pier 1 and Hobby Lobby are my favorite stores to look for new decorations. Even my boyfriend loves coming because they have things he loves to check out too. We make it a family fun day event. read more

Everytime I shop here the staff is so rude and I cannot stand it not to mention this company is VERY anti lgbtq which is possibly the reason why I'm treated the way I am when I'm there. Last time I was there I counted 6 people without masks including an employee when I brought it up to the manager she said "oh okay" and did nothing and as far as I know it's a state wide mandate to require masks in store idk but I will not be going back that's for sure ! read more

I would give the actual store 5 stars--as they carry everything you could possibly ever need (or not need). It's always well stocked and vey organized-- however, I have to rate it 2 stars because of the rude cashier and manager I dealt with today. To make a long story short, I had an exchange, with a receipt - purchased the item less than 24 hours.- it was defective. The cashier gave me attitude, she had to call the manager over, I explained why it was defective. She huffed and puffed and said--just give it to her. There was no "Hello", no, "how can I help you?", no, "sorry this was defective"---nothing but attitude. Makes me not want to shop here. There are many other art stores in the area-- read more

I recently came here to look at some Halloween decorations and will be back for Christmas decorations as soon as I get decorating to see what I have and want. I came here and fell in love and I fell hard. They have everything I may ever want or need for my apartment. There are tons of home décor items as well as tons of craft items. You can also get amazing holiday decorations. They variety is massive since the store is massive. You can seriously get just about anything you may need. A lot of items seemed to be on sale. I do not know if they take any coupons but I didn't really care to look for any. The prices were what I would expect. I will certainly be coming back here. Went to the local Webster Hobby Lobby last week to purchase sprinkles for my daughters birthday cupcakes that I couldn't find anywhere else. The sprinkles were $4.99. When I got to the counter to pay I waited in line (bc why have more than one register open? - always a problem!) and my cell phone (Verizon provider/brand new iPhone) was getting zero internet service and I couldn't pull up a 40% off coupon. The cashier had zero empathy about helping me with the coupon situation (overly tanned older woman who's worked there forever - apparently nicknamed by others the "Coupon Nazi") and told me to go in the parking lot, get service, and come back in. I'm sorry, but that coupon is on your website - not some special coupon mailed to me or clipped from the paper - the whole world can access it. She's popped those same 5 digits into her register I'm sure dozens of times for that coupon. Got outside, get coupon, go back in and have to stand in a line 5 customers deep AGAIN like I hadn't just done it! Had I not needed that specific sprinkle for my daughters cake, I would have been GONE to another store! For being a "christian" business, that was probably one of the rudest, most unchristian-like experiences I have dealt with for a $1.99 savings ever. Also, being everyone I told the story to knew exactly who this woman was and even had nicknamed her the "coupon Nazi" she clearly gives a lot of customers a hard time. Not cool Hobby Lobby! This was my first time to Hobby Lobby and I had no idea that they had such a great selection. They also have adorable furniture that I cannot stop thinking about. Only could go through part of store before being overwhelmed and look forward to going back to explore more and get creative. read more

i love this store but i am convinced its cursed. this store brought my aunt explosive diarrhea in the bathrooms 3 times, which interrupted our shopping experience. also, later on i had an allergic reaction to something in the store and we had to leave. read more
