Decent company but their delivery drivers need some better training. Placed order for mulch to be delivered. Wife and I were both home, One car in driveway on left side. When I placed the order, I was asked when facing the house which side of driveway I would like them to dump it on. I told them the Right side. When delivery was made , We did not know they driver was here because he never bothered to knocked nor ring the doorbell. When I went outside I found the mulch was dumped on the left side of driveway, directly behind car. Needless to say, I was not happy that I had to more it all in one day. Very unprofessional that driver could not be bothered to get out of truck and maybe try to confirm with us where to dump the load. Do NOT use Thomas Landscape and Design for your landscaping or mulch products. In my opinion, they are incredibly rude and unprofessional. Here is how they treated me. Yesterday I called to place an order for 4 yards of playground mulch and was told it would be delivered between 4-7 pm today. I also needed some bags of white stone which the representative told me they would throw on the truck as well but I needed to stop in to pick out the stone and make sure it was the right one. I stopped in, paid for 6 bags of stone and the mulch and they offered to load the stone into my car or again "throw it on the truck" with my mulch delivery. At around 5 pm I needed to run an errand so I called Thomas and asked if they could just drop the mulch in my backyard since it was paid for. I was told I needed to be home for them to drop it in my backyard so they called me when the driver left and I ran home to meet the driver. The driver asked me where I would like the mulch dropped and I asked if he could take it to the backyard where the playground is located. He threw up his hands in the air and rolled his eyes. He told me he had a heavy truck and didn't want to take it in my yard. I explained to him that I was not concerned about my yard as I've just had concrete removed and bobcats all over the yard anyway. He was incredibly rude and disrespectful and told me to "hurry up" bc he had other jobs and they were short handed. I simply could not have it dropped in my driveway for a number of reasons. I told him he could just return the mulch and I called in for a refund. He was also rude to my family members who were here helping me. Thomas refunded me the mulch but would not refund me the $29 delivery fee. If you know me, you know I could care less about $29. I am more appalled at how I was treated by this delivery person. I am not sure if I can relay the level of disrespect that this gentleman treated me with. I am an attorney and I don't treat anyone disrespectfully and I don't appreciate being treated that way. To make matters worse, when I called the store to explain why I felt I should be refunded the $29 delivery fee, I was met with more rude behavior by Heather at their store. She did not want to hear what truthfully happened at all and said bc he dropped 6 small bags of stone I needed to pay the delivery fee. She also said it was "hard to believe" that her driver was rude. Ultimately, being the unprofessional company that I believe that they are, Heather told me she would send her driver back to grab the 6 small bags of stone and that she would refund me in full. Have at it Thomas Landscape & Garden Center you won't see my business again and I'm guessing you might not see some others as well. read more

I have used Thomas to the front of my home. Landscape, lighting, sidewalks and irrigation. They did such an outstanding job, I had them come back and install two large berms with plants etc. I have also used them to do a floral arrangement for a retiring colleague and it too was stellar! They did a great job in our sidewalk and front landscaping. Also did a great job on our stonework on our house. Trouble was that they took forever to do what we wanted them to do and never returned to finish the job. We were told they would be back this spring to finish. It's now September and even though I contacted them in May they never finished the job we paid them to do. Do not recommend them at all. read more

Thomas Landscape did a spring cleanup for me. It was awesome. I was so happy I had to call the office and tell them "you know that when people see a really clean house and say "you could eat off the floor", well my yard is so clean you could "eat off the dirt". They have been doing my mowing this season. I have a very hilly yard and it is the first time I have not had horrible tracks on the hills! They will be doing a topsoil and reseeding for me as soon as they yard dries up from all the rain (probably be a long while yet!) but I am looking forward to telling you about another awesome job!! read more

Stopped in and went to "service desk". Wow, what a contradiction to reality...the girls there were UNFRIENDLY, ARROGANT, CONDICENDING, ECT... I truly felt unwelcome and unwanted there. I am a very nice person and not at all pushy or demanding. Will NEVER go back there for anything. read more

Will not buy from them ever again because they don't stand behind their products and the customer service staff couldn't care less. Told me I voided the warranty on my boxwoods the minute I put them into a planter. In less than a minute I found numerous articles on the internet, some from recognized magazines, about why boxwoods are perfect for planters. Even after showing them this they insisted that boxwoods should not be planted in a pot. Admittedly I could not find my receipt, but at the very least they could have offered a discount. I said I guess I'll have to buy new ones somewhere else and they said "that's fine." read more

They do the lawns of Monarch senior living and they are awful. They leave grass all over the sidewalks and in gardens. They blow grass on the patios after asked not to. read more

We just had a ton of work done to our property and our experience was really wonderful. I'm surprised to see the negative reviews on here. Thomas Landscape redid our entire front landscaping including a new walkway with pavers, a new irrigation system, and lighting. Tony and his team were great. Tony made numerous suggestions along the way and we were skeptical at first, but everything he recommended ended up being perfect. We got numerous estimates beforehand and their prices were very reasonable. We are really happy with the new landscaping and would definitely recommend them! read more

Did a lousy job for me 2years ago. For $1000, he guaranteed to rid of the green moss, rake it and reseed it. By the end of the season. The green moss still there. He said he did his job. Never use him again. read more

Thomas' is a triple threat; great people, great products, and great prices! I consider myself to be an avid price shopper, but Thomas' is my first and last stop. Thomas Landscaping is beyond unprofessional. They installed a sidewalk that every year since has shifted and gotten full of mud during the winter. It also doesnt drain properly and has started growing moss and weeds since day one. Every year I call and am told "we will come fix it soon as the weather clears." Each year I'm also told a different story on why they think it is happening. And each year I have have to call non stop all summer to get someone out. The first time, they came back, tore up part of the side walk, then left for several weeks leaving me an unusable sidewalk. The following year when the problem wasn't fixed they told me they would be out as soon as winter cleared. They never called and never came the entire year. This year I was told a new idea and new reason and a new fix. After being blown off again all summer I'm now told nothing is wrong with the sidewalk and they aren't fixing it. DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON THOMAS LANDSCAPING. Very unprofessional terrible communication. They also do not stand behind they're work. I actually have voice mail messages from Tony the foreman telling me what he thinks the problem is and that they will come fix it. However, apparently they care nothing for their word or workmanship, because they never come. Save yourself the trouble of losing money and possibly having to to go the BBB or small claims court. read more

I never saw a service like this. From the owner to the last person in the yard they are terrible. They are rude; they use vulgar language and are useless in providing information regarding their products. The quality of the products is less then acceptable. My experience was very unsatisfying. I called and asked if they had seasoned firewood available. They said yes and that it was $92 per face cord ($15 more than other local suppliers who were sold out). I asked how long the wood had been seasoned and they said that their supplier seasons the wood for a year prior to delivery. I am outside of their delivery area so the next day I attached my trailer and drove 16 miles to purchase 2 face cords. When I arrived I saw a tented enclosure with split wood loosely piled in it. I examined the wood and it was well seasoned. I then went inside and purchased 2 face cords and was told to see Rick out back and he would assist me with loading the wood. I found Rick and he directed me to a rack of uncovered wood. Parked the trailer near the rack and began to hand load the trailer when I noticed it had the split wood was heavy and that it produced a dull thud when banged together. I told Rick that the wood was not seasoned and he said that it had been sitting in the rain. I asked him if we could move the trailer over to the tented area and load dry wood instead and he said that I would have to get the OK from the cashier first. I went inside and was asked if there was a problem and I told the cashier that the wood Rick wanted to load was not seasoned. She replied that it was seasoned wood and I told her that it may have been but now it was wet. I then asked her if I could have the dry wood from within the tented area and she refused saying that that wood was for car pack sales only and that it would be difficult for them to load. I requested a refund which she promptly provided. It's not easy to keep piles of loose split logs covered but if you are advertising seasoned firewood it makes sense to go to the trouble of protecting your inventory and your reputation. read more

Received flowers from Thomas Flowers and Gifts. What could have been a nice Mother,s Day surprise turned out to be a nightmare. Heather, the lady who took my call, was rude, hung up on me and basically told me that she was too busy to help me. Never again. Find another florist, they suck. read more
