It is nice that they have a small cafe inside with multiple drink and snack options, espically as you can be there for a while working on your art. I do have to say they are more expensive than other locally owned pottery places, but we were happy with finished pottery pieces.

We were told around 1 to 2 weeks until they are finished and they would send out a email or text to let me know that they are done, but I never received either. I received a voice mail November 7th 2025 8 MONTHS after we gave them money and our time telling me that they have found our painted pottery and that they will be discarding them. I do not recommend created by us they have no care for their costumers and failed to keep track of my pottery.

They offer all sorts of classes along with walk in hours to create something wonderful. They have many options for projects and ideas. A few winters ago they offered a Christmas truck class which was a blast. They also do birthday parties in their back room. With covid I am not sure if they are back into that just yet. They do offer a summer camp for kids and those finished projects they post on Facebook look so good. They are following all covid guidelines. When the pandemic first hit they pivoted their business to take home kits. They have an online shop where you can buy the kits. They were the cutest kits. Customer service is amazing here. I was sent to Intro to Adobe Illustrator by my work, and had the best experience. There was a ton of content crammed into our semester, and I now confidently create advertisements, eblasts, and social media content for my organization in Illustrator exclusively. Working in Illustrator can often be frustrating, but Jeremy (the instructor) answered my questions with grace, patience, and a sense of humor. A gift certificate to this center makes for a great gift! There is a wide variety of class offerings, and many opportunities to push yourself or someone you love out of their comfort zone. Nonprofit art centers like Flower City are the backbone of ROC, and make it the cultural beacon that it is. I hope to someday become a member and make use of this facility on a more regular basis.

I was there for a private party and did a wood sign instead. They were a little pricey, coming in at about $45.00. But the staff were helpful in trying to accommodate and set up our group. They were able to give a helping hand when needed, volunteering to help touch up mistakes and even drilling in hooks when the signs were all finished. I'm happy with the outcome.

I was impressed with such a large selection to chose from , the possibilities were endless . Too bad my wallet wasn't endless , the prices were a bit steep . I settled on a coffee mug wall art piece . The girls all picked animal figurines , my friend Heather just watched and assisted her girls with getting paint . The women who was working wasn't super charismatic, but admittedly, she had a full house that afternoon with no help . I was impressed on how nice our pieces turned out , the young ladies loved them too . It's not an activity I can afford to do all the time , but it was fun getting my creative juices flowing .
