I went here for a luncheon a group of us were invited by members of this esteemed club. They have private parking and a valet a plus. It's light and bright and pretty old school, they have a bartender, nice staff and good food. It was all done up for Christmas as this was the time I went. I believe to become a member you have to be sponsored to join basically like any private club. If asked to join you have "basically arrived" I don't doubt they have other events, like a wedding, prom and other parties as long as your sponsored by a member this is my thought. They have the show in a big room off to the side. It only seats about 80 people or so. Very intimate setting but comfortable. There's a coat "room" so no need to hang your coat on your chair. They also offer a free glass of champagne with a VIP ticket purchase, but a cash bar is also available. Pleasantly surprised and had a great time at the show. Will definitely go back.

The building is really beautiful and I'm interested to see how they do different things given how the space is broken up. Where else can you eat midnight bagels to accompany your vodka soda? Where else can you get overly frustrated at the "get the circle onto the post" game outside? The answer is NOWHERE. Lux has a special vibe about it that is welcoming, inclusive, divey and strange all at the same time. The South Wedge location is perfect and there's usually ample street parking if you're DD-ing or planning to leave your car. Rebecca the Cheese monger, from Hart's grocery, served NY State cheeses and local craft beer and made everybody feel educated on how fun it can be to serve cheese, on boards with dried or fresh fruit charcuterie, nuts and more alongside adult beverages for appetizers or as part of a cheese course. There were a wide range of people in attendance. I love seeing locals come back to the Rochester area and renovate historical properties and rebuild areas that have been part of Rochester's unique history. I wish parking was a bit better, but if you are lucky you can catch a spot on Main street or one of the side roads. Fun times. I wish I could do half points as this would get a 4.5 as a fun place to put together a small gathering near the Susan B. Anthony house.

If you are a cyclist, this is very useful because you will know what to do if something happens while you are out riding. Also as a volunteer you get to build your own bike. Even though the gym is nice on the tour, there are a few aspects that you don't realize about this…read moregym until after going there about a month. Every week night from 5-6 the gym is packed, to the point the parking lot is full and you have to park in the dirt lot near the trail. I'm used to this at other gyms I went to, but it was my first time experiencing a locker room legitimately running out of lockers. That was crazy to me and you would think for the price they would have facilities to accommodate their members? They also make promises when you sign up that they do not intend to follow through on. When I signed up the sales man told me they would deduct the cost of my old gym membership from the next month's payment. This did not occur and I sent all the necessary documents to the guys so now I'm waiting on a ticket to go through to a manager one of the front desk staff submitted. To sum it, this gym is not worth the price. If they were around the 100/month range I may have changed my rating, but to have had these types of issues paying over 200 a month for a gym is ridiculous.
