Great place to stop in while in Pittsford!…read more Most items are made of clay and created by local artists. They have some international pieces that are beautiful as well. If you aren't looking for clay, you'll find jewelry items and knick knacks as well! Everything is reasonably priced. And great strong quality. If you make a purchase, try to find things around the store marked free! They have different things each day. Many of them are just small trinkets but they're cute as can be! My last few trips fell during their seconds sale. Basically, starting the second Saturday of the second month (Feb), a ton of local products are on sale for more than 50% off. The sale lasts for about a month and the items get restocked regularly. If you sign up for their VIP texting program, you can get coupons and additional discounts as well! Such a cute place! Right next to simply crepes!

For years now I have been adding to my Pottery Pinterest board... and one of the first artisans I…read morefollowed was Katy. I found out that Katy's creations were actually sold out of East Main Clay so I reached out to Katy and she kindly sent me photos of what they had in stock. I wish I would have taken more photos but I bought items for the Housewarming Baskets I was doing for Emancipated Foster Youth and I treated myself to this planter recently. The item was packed very well and shipped quickly. The customer service is always kind and patient as there is a 3-hour time difference. We are up here for the summer from Texas, and I swear I'd move up here for Wegmans and this amazing…read moreart shop. My husband grew up here, and I've been visiting with him for quite a while. I never really noticed this place before, probably because I wasn't painting at the time. I recently took up, watercolor, and brought all my stuff up here, but needed a few extra supplies. During my first visit, I noticed they had a workshop on that upcoming Saturday, and I eagerly signed up for it. It was an all-day workshop with Paul Taylor, and he was an INCREDIBLE instructor. Even though I had taken classes for three months before we left Texas, I learned so much from him in that one day. The class focused on doing one painting from beginning to end, and you would think an seven hour day would be too much for one painting, but it was absolutely perfect. It allowed us to take our time and allowed time for him to explain every move and assist us as we painted. Now about the shop... What a jewel! It is very well stocked, and had almost everything I needed, except for a couple of paint colors. But to top it off, the owner was working the day I visited, and she was so incredibly helpful. She walked around and helped me find everything I needed, and we had a wonderful visit while I was there. I returned again on another day when a young woman was working, and she was equally as helpful and enjoyable. When we come up here next year, I think I'm going to base our visits around the classes they offer. I would love to take the watercolor class that they offer that goes on for several weeks. If you consider yourself even remotely, creative and artistic, skip Hobby Lobby, and Michaels and support this wonderful local establishment.
