Even the other shoppers were looking at each other disconcertedly because of how loud the employee was yelling. Another female employee with black glasses was also coming around and reminding people but I wasn't affected by her until I came up to the front. It turned exactly 7 o'clock. I took two items out of my cart before going 4 feet up to the register and the same female employee approached me in a very rude tone saying-- "We are LITERALLY closed. You need to leave now". As someone who works in the service and healthcare industry, I've never spoken to any customer in a manner quite like that. I didn't approach the store minutes before they close. I was reviewing my items in the cart and actively approaching the register. The Big Lots store in Columbus however, is managed in a much better way and they don't yell throughout the store. As for those employees in Franklin's Big Lots, they will leave a bad impression for the last people to ever shop in a Big Lots store. Despite loving my purchase, the customer service was very disappointing.

She took everything out of our bag that the cashier is already rang up and was examining that I said no they already rang up one pair of pants from that clearance rack then she decided to rip those off too so I told her we didn't want any of our staff and she said well have a good day and a snotty manber now if I am right and I know I am they were supposed to let us have it for that price because they are the one that marked down with their gun.There's no way possible that we could have done it we don't have a gun to put new prices on them. so don't go to that store at all.

I love how inviting they are and at one point I stopped to talk about work related things with one of the night shift workers. Great guy! They are very clean generally, a good selection of fresh produce, and everything else well stocked from meat to daily necessities. Sometimes, despite being through the store countless times, I have trouble finding something... but I can usually get around quickly, and if the WiFi connection is strong enough the website tells me the exact aisle. lol! Hehe…read more I used to go to this one exclusively until they built one a little closer to my house - on Emerson and County Line road in Greenwood. I would actually drive out of my way to go to this one because the one on US 31 in Indianapolis is extremely icky on many levels. I still go to the Walmart in Franklin if I'm close to it because it's located near my mom's house. I even worked at this Walmart for about four months (years ago) in the garden department. But,....alas, that's a whole other story. :-) As always, the prices are very competitive and this Walmart never seems to be really busy so that's another plus. All in all, it's a Walmart, so I guess I will always have a love/hate relationship with the place one way or another.

Instead of simply pointing us in the right direction, she stayed with us for at least another hour and a half to help my son find everything he needed. She sized him for a suit, helped us work through different fits and styles, and stayed with us as we selected a suit, at least six pairs of pants, four or five shirts, two ties, socks, and more. She was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and kind throughout the entire process. My son was becoming quite overwhelmed by all of the choices, and Brenda recognized that and made the experience manageable for him. Without her help, we genuinely would have struggled to get everything accomplished. Employees like Brenda are what make customers want to return to a store. Staying that long after her shift to make sure we were completely taken care of was far beyond anything we expected. We are incredibly grateful for her kindness and dedication, and I sincerely hope Macy's recognizes Brenda for going so far above and beyond for us. Thank you, Brenda. We frequent Macy's a lot when needing to get clothes for occasions. They have multiple entrances, so parking usually isn't an issue here. The mall can get really busy during holidays, so it may be harder to find parking during these times. The entrance by the ladies/junior section has a women's restroom conveniently located by the fitting room. I have used this restroom often, and it's usually clean. Macy's sale racks are worth checking out. I found a cute sweater dress marked down for $22 that was on last act that I purchased. Original price was $80. I love a good sale. Fitting rooms are available in many of the departments, so that's never an issue. Most of the workers are helpful. This location also has a whole area for Macy's Backstage which is more clearance/marked down items. I found a pair of boots that were my size for $5, but unfortunately they were too tight so I decided not to purchase.

The clothing departments have more extensive selections than most Targets. The store is also neater and cleaner and more organized than many. It is now more typical to wait 20 minutes to an hour for groceries to be brought to your car once you arrive. I typically do not receive an apology for my wait. Associates bringing groceries to cars are oftentimes observed to be doing their jobs very slowly and at times not carefully. When there have been no parking places left for curbside pickup and people waiting 30+ minutes, it is not uncommon to observe associates making prolonged small talk with customers unrelated to completing their grocery orders. Disappointing and makes me want to utilize Kroger and Meijer's curbside services more often.

It's basically like wearing a global hug. The shop itself is cozy and bright, and the sales associates friendly. Definitely worth a stop!
