I saw online that target was having a galentine's event from 12p-4p today, so I stopped by since I was out and about already. This target is always busy, it's located in a strip, but there's plenty of parking. Luckily, I found a close parking spot since it was cold and snowing. As soon as I walked in, I saw this stand that looked like the event details. A lady was working the stand, she was friendly and smiling. I asked her if this was the event and she said yes, it was to sample the body spray mist scents of the EOS brand. I've never smelled any of the EOS brands nor was I aware they had body mists, so I was intrigued. There were three scents: pink champagne, vanilla cashmere, and fresh and cozy. She had cards she sprayed on for you to sample. They all smelled amazing. Each bottle was priced at 12.99. She asked to take pictures of me, sampling and scanning the QR code. She was sweet. For stopping by she offered me a cute charm. I love how this target hosts these events. I was very tempted to purchase a bottle, but I couldn't decide which one I liked the most because they were all so good, that I just decided to pass for now. read more

I hadn't been to this particular Target location in quite some time, however, it was on my way home from an appointment at nearby Franciscan and I decided to stop and see if they had a few supplies that I needed. I'm a fan of the Target brand, a nice weaving together of warm and welcoming shopping atmosphere, friendly customer service, and for the most part fair pricing. While I can't say I always find what I need, generally I appreciate the experience and Target is definitely one of my favorite places to shop. This is, of course, a "Super Center." This means it's bigger and better stocked than most Target locations. It also tends to offer options not available in most Targets. As near as I could tell in this location, that is less about "extra" services and more about widened selection options in a few areas. My neighborhood Target, Glendale, is not considered a Super Center but seems to have the vast majority of what's offered here - just to a lesser degree. Parking is easy here. They offer an abundance of accessible parking and, as is nearly always true with Target, also offer appropriate curb cuts and automatic entry doorways. They offer full carts and they do offer the specialized carts for bigger children who may need closer supervision. They don't offer the half-cart option - something I wish they would add. As a wheelchair user, the full carts are simply more difficult to manage and this becomes more true as they age. I was primarily focusing this trip on personal supplies, wellness supplies, and grocery. Of course, that would end up being on the opposite end of where I parked though that's on me. This Target does offer an optical section (Glendale recently added this) and they have a Starbucks inside. They have a ton of registers, though only a couple were open - the majority of folks were doing self check-out. I was somewhat surprised that despite this being a "super" center that in the majority of areas I was shopping in the selection remained remarkably limited. I wanted V8 energy drinks, for example, but they only had a couple packs. I wanted some bandage dressings - the selection was embarrassingly weak. I wanted unsweetened iced tea - they were surprisingly low. I wanted a snack - options were no more plentiful than any other Target. I just didn't see much "super." Where this location fell truly short for me was in that usual Target sense of welcome. It simply wasn't here. I would pass by Target employees and there would never be a greeting. I was, of course, greeted at the front door but even that lacked enthusiasm. For a store that had surprisingly lacking shelves, I was amazed at the lack of employees shelving (though I did see 2-3). The cashier was semi-friendly, but I have to admit that in most cases a Target cashier will put my bags in the cart (I accept this is likely a disability accommodation, though it's an appreciated one). This one did nothing. This didn't feel like Target. It wasn't quite Wal-Mart - it wasn't unfriendly, but it sure didn't make me want to come back anytime soon. The atmosphere is MUCH more pleasant at Glendale and the employees are MUCH friendlier. This was a middle-of-the-road experience in every way. It wasn't good. It wasn't really bad. It was functional, though I've always appreciated Target as being the best shopping experience among similar brands. That simply wasn't true here. Would I come back? Probably, though I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to do so. Given that I live much closer to Glendale, that's obviously my home Target anyway. However, I'm by this way quite a bit and there was nothing about this experience that said "Stop here on the way home." If anything, it said "Wait until you get home and go to Glendale." Super? Why does target keep sending me expired food? Been down this road before. Shipping. If one or two items have expired there is no choice to just return those and not the others unless I go to the store. What would be the point of delivery? It expired 4 months before I got it. That's enough time for them to remove it from the shelves. Once is an accident 2 or 3 or more times is just offensive. read more

This is a mega Target- and very well done to boot. What makes a Target "good" you ask? Well, for starters, it was very well organized and clean. If you're already in the festive spirit, the Christmas decor and stocking stuffer offerings were through the roof. We had a blast exploring everything. This particular Target features a large grocery section and Starbucks as well. If you're looking to hit up several errands at once, they neighbor Kohl's, Home Depot and Aldi as well. Last but certainly not least, the staff we encountered were very friendly. I would venture to say this is one of the nicest Target locations in the Indy area. read more

I love this Target! I've been to a few around the area that weren't as clean and organized as this one. I always have a pretty good customer experience overall (drive up included) and don't have many complaints. Their selection can be limited at times and they do run low on things often which makes it hard to pick up certain items that target only sells but I usually just check back on the app to see if it's in stock later in the week. read more

I love shopping at Target other than the fact that I always buy stuff I don't really need. But that's not Target's fault. The dollar spot is my favorite spot to buy things I don't need. It seems harmless but $3 tchotchkes add up over a time. I've been shopping at Target on Sunday mornings around 8am after I drop my mom off at the gym. There's not many other shoppers at that time and I can browse easily. I stopped in the Starbucks today also and noticed a sign asking customers to enjoy their drink at home instead of while shopping. I always find it too hard to shop with a drink in my hand anyway. Trying to shop with a drink and having to adjust your mask every time...I will definitely enjoy my drink better at home. read more

TARGET!!! Where to begin?? This is likely my favorite store on earth. I go in here and literally do not come out for hours. They have EVERYTHING I need. From Starbucks, to groceries, to clothes and make up, to home decor and school supplies. On a typical target trip, I begin in the dollar section where I load up my cart with useless knick knacks. I then travel through the school supply section and get more pencils, pens, and other desk knick knacks that I do not need. After that, I motor through the home decor section and dream of owning a mansion or a castle that is fully decked out in target decor. I then make my way through the clothing department where I try on nearly everything in my size and decide I need 3 new bathing suits in the middle of the winter. Following this, I go through the make up section and buy bizarre beauty products such as magnetic face masks. For my grand finale, 3.25 hours later, I decide it is time to get the groceries that I came for. However, I end up with only several $5.00 bottles of wine and edible cookie dough. Finally, at the end of my 5 hour trip to target, I leave exuding sunshine and butterflies. I would actually suggest this target to anyone. It is not different than any other Target-- always wonderful and always worth the trip. Just beware of time and go in with a game plan or face the consequences. read more

When I make a Target run this is my go-to store. It's always clean and the employees are pleasant. I don't shop Target a lot because honestly I find it too pricey. Especially compared to Kohls and Meijer. But when I do this is the spot. I work nearby and sometimes run in here when I'm on lunch. The Pizza Hut area is okay. They usually have a few pizzas or breadstick boxes ready so you can grab and go. Sometimes I wish they had more than a few ready, but you take what you can get when you have a 30 minute lunch break. This location also has a Starbucks. Those employees are always nice, pleasant, and quick. It's a large store, always plenty of parking. I did hear that they are going to remodel and take out the pizza hut section to make a bigger liquor section. More selection is never bad! read more

Well, I went to Target on E. Southport 1. in response to word that another department store chain's store was not enforcing the State of Indiana and Marion County mandates on wearing masks and 2. a sense that the store carries products I seek. Off the bat my planning was cart before the horse because I first checked online for the products I sought, especially LOCTITE® SUPER GLUE ULTRA GEL CONTROL™ and Luzianne® Cold Brew Iced Tea bags - the cart. Now the horse is that I called to confirm the process of enforcement of wearing masks after I pretty much made up my mind to go there anyway On the call I discovered a hole in the enforcement, but went anyway. So back to making my shopping list; the list included the aisles where the Target website told me items are located and in stock. So upon entering this Target I discover that the aisles in the grocery department are well marked. However, the tea is not found, despite the website stating that this specific tea is in stock, even with the efforts of an employee. My strong hunch is that the website is inaccurate to report that the tea is in stock; by the way, other stores have the same problem. Upon leaving the grocery department I was lost. The aisle markings are at a different eye level than the grocery department and in many instances there seem to be no aisle markings at all! Employees have a mix of knowing and not knowing the floor plan and many are more comfortable to talk departments than aisle names. Oh, vital - given that SARS-CoV-2 (the virus causing the COVID-19 pandemic) can leave us without any symptoms it is vital that we keep our distance and properly wear our masks. The vast majority of employees wear masks, but get too close in light of the pandemic - typically about 18 inches away. One employee not wearing a mask that might or might not be OK. I propose that that individual be super conscientious about being well over 6 feet away if cannot leave mask on. Otherwise, leave the mask on and use new ways to communicate. So, if you are going to speak with an employee be prepared to be assertive about maintaining physical distance. The vast majority of the customers wore masks properly. I got vibes of appreciation from some customers for maintaining my distance. Roughly three customers were spotted not wearing a mask or wearing their mask improperly. Now I never found that super glue I sought, which the Target website stated is in stock. I picked up another kind of super glue. I might return, but I'll try other businesses because I figure there are stores where I have a lower risk to my and others' health and lives, and where I can be assured that I can find stuff. read more

I love the discounts you can get at Target with Cartwheel, Redcard, coupons, sales, etc. But I hate the way the grocery area is set up. I can NEVER find what I need and there is never anyone around to ask. IF I can find someone to ask however, they always find the item for me. Yep, it's true... 5 stars from me! Very nice Target with great options and friendly staff. We received a coupon in the mail with our move packet.. $40 off a purchase of $200 or more. We got our money's worth!! This target is clean and in a great location. The staff was more than friendly. We had a return which was quickly handled. As we made our first big shopping trip for the new place, we were asked by a couple associates if we needed help finding anything. They weren't annoying and pushy, just friendly. It was a Sunday and they had some great samples throughout the grocery section. Overall - a good experience, we will be back! read more

Me and my friend went to target like normal people. Then the floor was SO RUDE it tripped me and it made me throw my basket so far. Then my friend tripped over the basket. I love Target way too much. It pulls me from miles away and I can't help myself. I'm good with the store brands of many things, especially the food. I regularly buy the Market Pantry cereal bars and canned corn (none better!) and the Archer Farms shredded beef tamales and Sea Salt Pretzel ice cream. I was surprised to see so many Super Target stores around the Indy metro area, but it's good to have choice. Cincinnati has no Super Target stores. I've shopped a few around Los Angeles and they're a bit backward compared to this store. The only drawback is the traffic. It seems that there is one way in and one way out and it's always congested. I'm sure the people going to Panera Bread or Longhorn Steak House feel equally troubled. It's easier than going to Avon or wherever. Their prices are always good, but their clearance prices really make a difference. It's odd to see clothing for $2 something or $4 something. I don't mind their regular prices but it's always great to save. read more

Finally got to self checkout and my friend wanted to buy Malibu rum and she's 21 and I was turning 21 in literally 4 hours - so she was purchasing it so we could celebrate at midnight- besides the point. I had to scan the phone to pay for it on the app, but it was not even my phone or my app I was just the person scanning the phone because my friend didn't know how to use it to pay for the purchase. So then Miranda the one working self checkout comes up and asks to see my ID even though it was not my money, my phone, or my app. I had explained that I was just showing her how to do it. She then snatched the bottle out of our cart after I told her I wasn't 21 and demanded that we go down to guest services to get a refund. So rude so unnecessary and the worst customer service ever, had the worst attitude even when asking my friend for her ID at the beginning and was not understanding what so ever. read more

This SUPER target definitely lives up to its name. It has everything under the sun you can think of that you might need, and more! The employees here are always so nice and super helpful. My boyfriend and I are buying things we need for our new apartment and we got out of the store for under $200 for our entire kitchen and bathroom set up! I have a hard time giving any big box store a 5-star review, but this Target came pretty darn close. Almost identical to the Avon store in every way at first glance, this store couldn't have been more different. I liked that the parking lot entrance to this store was on the side and had a light. Made for a little less hectic time getting in. Once inside, this store is a pretty standard Super Target layout from the mid 2000s. I started my shopping trip at Starbucks. No line, friendly and efficient staff. Not in Avon anymore. Coffee in hand, I got my cart and started shopping for our annual Christmas party. Unlike another Super Target in town, they were exceptionally well stocked. There wasn't a thing I was looking for that I couldn't find. There was one item I was searching for and a team member came up to me proactively and pointed me toward it. That's the Target I know and love. Once I had gathered everything I needed, I headed up front to pay. No line! In fact, there was a cashier standing and waiting. I think I have died and gone to Target heaven. What is not to love about Target? The staff here always seems to not hate their lives and I love how late they're open during the week. Don't get me wrong, I love my Meijer too...but I feel that the quality of Up & Up is a little better than some other generic brands around. The store is clean and the shelves area always stocked. Its easy to shop without having to track down an employee to help find what you are looking for. I love that there is a Starbucks so I can get a boost in energy to tackle my shopping list. 95% of the time there are enough lanes open to handle busier times. Occasionally that is not the case but they are usually pretty good with opening additional lanes. The few returns/exchanges that I have needed to do have always been quick and painless. I love me some Target, mkay.....I don't do a lot of grocery shopping at Target, but what I do purchase has been of good quality. Most of the time I'm here for some t-shirt, a DVD, dog food, towels, or a butter dish. This last purchase included an expandable shower rack that should go floor to celling and two metal wire shelves. The shower rack was pretty much garbage and the 2 identical shelves could not be attached to each other to create one monster shelf. I know, you get what you pay for. These items were the middle of the road price, so I thought maybe, but I was wrong. Even with this little set back I love Target. I know when I buy Mossimo jeans what I'm getting, they will only last a few months to a year and they won't fit as well as my Eddie Bauer jeans. I guess I'll just have to add another thing to my list of "Perhaps not from Target" list. read more
