My mother went to…read more8067 Madison Ave Indianapolis, IN 46227 United States to get her new phone set up, there was something wrong with it and no one could really figure out what to do other than go back to the store and get it done, customer service told her she could get it done for free and so she went in and got it done, well after getting it done the lady in there told her it would be $25, my mom had explained to the lady working what customer service had said and this lady started cussing out my mother. When the other lady working asked what they we're going to do about the phone (that my mother bought at a different store, not at this store) she said they were going to keep it, my mom grabbed her phone and the lady proceeded to tell my mom that she couldn't do sh*t because they had her SIM card and she started waving it around in my mothers face and so my mom grabbed it. After my mother grabbed her SIM card the lady started calling someone and screaming about how my mom "hit her" and that they needed to "pull up" now. My mom is a 5'4 ft, 115 LBS, vegan, spiritual woman, she does not have a violent bone in her body. This lady then proceeded to tell my mom that they had all of her information and then listed that she had our home address, our phone number, and HER CHILDREN'S INFORMATION, and then told her she "had people". My mother began to exit the store and they began throwing things at her like pencils and really just everything they could get their hands on. As soon as my mom got into the car and dialed 911 they started getting out of the store and locked it up, so my mom drove away and they started following her. The police said there is nothing they can do because they didn't put their hands on my mother, but I truly think these women need to AT LEAST lose their jobs. Do not go to this location.

For instance my primary reason for shopping here are for Apple devices charging cables. These are things kid easily break by misuse. Five Below's cables are of decent quality that last many months for me, even a year, yet low in cost that I don't mind buying more when my grandchildren break them after weeks of use. Headphones are another quality item here that kids can damage the wires to the point they look ok but they stop working. Five Below has a wide variety of headphone styles. The granddaughter loves them especially anything with unicorns or cat ears. So this year for Christmas I found some other items they loved. Posters, magnets, LED lights, LED hand soap dispenser (yeah really) and more. There was the longest line I've ever seen there (the week before Christmas) but Five Below stepped up and had 4 cashiers (the norm is one) and checking out went fast.

Being naturally curious with a need to save money on some basic necessities as many of us do these days, I ended up at a brand new discount store called $5 Below in Plainfield, Indiana. In my opinion the name implies that all their merchandise is $5 or less. Or I guess one could even assume that the name may simply be suggesting that their prices are $5 less the the price of their competition. I try to be practical so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. They sell the same types of things you would normally find at at almost any ' five and dime' including, seasonal items, toys, make up and beauty, arts and crafts, house and home, cleaning supplies, candy, t-shirts, you get the idea. After doing the initial browsing lap I was excited to see they even had sage, incense and burners, AND quite the selection I might add. AND THEN I SAW WHAT THEY WANTED. Basically EVERYTHING was $5! For example, the incense burners, the kind you can pick up for a buck or two someplace else, $5. The Clorox Spray Cleaner that I KNOW they sell just a couple doors down at a similar store that it probably wouldn't be very nice to mention, the price for the same brand and size of cleaner for just over a dollar? $5. The beauty blending sponges were another disappointment. It didn't' matter if you bought the assorted variety, or opted for the single version they were both each $5. I gotta tell you, it kind of Chaps my ass that the people in charge think the typical consumer is not intelligent enough to 'comparison shop'. It's like their factoring in for inflation to pad their bottom line while deceiving the paying consumer into believing that we're getting such a good deal because it is a discount store after all, that we'll just throw that money down, which when you think about it this logic isn't fair. Most of us are shopping at discount stores because we can no longer afford not to. Hey dudes, we KNOW what we are used to paying for what we buy. Never underestimate the intelligence of your consumer, it's just bad business and a recipe for failure once we're onto you. Which now a LOT of us ARE! In my personal opinion this is NOT my idea of 'smart saving'. But you be the judge and please let me know if you feel the same way, or put me in check if you disagree. I'd love to know your thoughts. I am reviewing a shopping experience that took place in the beginning of January. I was on the lookout for long sleeve shirts primarily. Having lost of weight recently I find myself having to replace my entire wardrobe down a full size. But it takes time with limited financial resources. I came across a rack of grey wool cardigan sweaters with those really wide collars. I waited to write this review because I wanted to see how the sweater worked out. It gets cold in my house when the temperature drops and I don't want to raise the thermostat for cold snaps. So this sweater has really worked well for me to slip on when I get cold. And I can keep it on when I put on an insulated jacket to go outside to feed the cats. The only con is there are no pockets.

Stuff everywhere, trash on the floor, etc. I came in a little after they opened. Eventually the night or closing crew didn't do anything. I feel sorry for the lady this morning. Just be sure to check the dates since they're usually staggered and only valid during certain windows. On top of that, the customer service at this location is always great. I shopped at this Hobby Lobby location today, May 9th 2024…read more As I was in the check out lane at 3:50 pm, I was making small talk with the cashier and the store manager who were both very pleasant. The cashier handed me my bags and I left the store. When I got home, I realized that one of the bags I was handed was actually someone else's As it had items that I did not purchase. I should have stayed home and made dinner but I decided to get back to the store as soon as possible to let them know that I had a bag that I didn't purchase. When I arrived at the store, there was a different and very unpleasant manager and cashier working. I let the manager know about the mistake. By the way she looked at me, you would have thought she was accusing me of theft. She had a nasty look on her face and never even thanked me for promptly returning this bag. I heard another cashier ask her if that was the bag that they had been looking for. With a snear, she said "yes, it showed back up" You are welcome Hobby Lobby!! I was honest and returned the bag promptly and wasn't even treated with basic respect not to mention gratitude. I thought you were a Christian store? One of your employees sure wasn't very Christian like today !! If something like that ever happens again, I may just think about chucking it into the trash and saved my precious gas money.
