They were extremely quick to respond to my inquiry via texting, asked great questions to get a sense of how much cleaning the dress would need (they requested some pictures of the stains up front), and gave me a quote for the cost that I felt was very reasonable. The pickup and drop-off part of this service is AMAZING, especially for someone with a busy schedule! They scheduled pick up at my house within a week despite having a high demand for wedding dress cleaning at the time, and sent me an update about what they were planning to do once they had their wedding dress expert take a look at the dress. Their turnaround time was much faster than I expected and they even sent pictures right after the cleaning was finished so I could see how well it came out! I had not requested a steaming since I didn't have plans to use the dress again anytime soon, but they did one complimentary for me which made the dress look absolutely stunning and like it was brand new. There was not a single residual stain left and the dress did not smell like anything - it was just perfectly clean. The final cost of the cleaning was exactly what I expected from the quote and I felt it was incredibly reasonable for the amount of cleaning they had to do, the speed and very high quality of service, and the helpful communication throughout the process. I was 100% satisfied with the end result and would absolutely recommend their services to anyone!

I recently moved to Los Angeles and found a new dry cleaners down the street from me that charged me half the cost for the same items which was refreshing. I thought of this place and wanted to leave a review to warn people how bad this was. These people were hostile, defensive, and greedy. They kept on hassling me about my clothes and texting me for approval for new costs. The texting person gave me an estimate and sent me like over 10 photos of my clothes to point out all the stains and hair that was on my clothes and repeatedly told me my clothes were wrinkled and very dirty. This was unnecessary and made me feel attacked and shamed. Like WTF?? I just wanted them to clean my clothes not pick faults with me! Instead, they acted like they were taking me to court! So much unnecessary stress and hassle for dry cleaners! They ended up charging me over $50 more than originally estimated because my clothes were oh so hard to clean and so dirty. Despite going over the original estimate, they still hassled and tried to guilt me for tip at the end saying they gave me a deal. What deal? Your services are super expensive! The tone they texted me was just so very rude it's like they didn't want me as a customer. I never fought them on the expensive costs but they were hostile from the start. I ended up going back to my previous dry cleaners, City Custom Tailor & Dry Cleaners in Belltown. They are not cheap either, but a little less expensive and they are chill. I do not think cheap dry cleaning exists in Seattle but this service sucks.

They took the unusual route of speaking to the BBB through a lawyer in what I can only guess was some attempt to intimidate me, where they accidentally admitted they laundered the clearly wool curtain that I told them on initial drop-off was dry clean only. Additionally in my first interaction I gave them an out, saying if they couldn't do it that's ok I'd try elsewhere, and they assured me they could. The owner essentially called me a liar, said the curtain was in a poor state when initially brought in (as if that matters), and accidentally admitted they ruined my curtain. I had originally gone to this place because of green dry cleaning and have been going here for the…read morepast couple years. They had done a fine job about a handful of times for cleaning other items (eg, Reformation dress and blouse, wool sweater) that I brought in for cleaning prior so that's why I give them 1 star. This most recent time I brought in 4 items (2 for repair and 2 for cleaning). They have let me down on multiple levels due to ruining 2 items, charging me for cleaning that I didn't ask for nor was informed of, and not having a way for these issues to be resolved in a timely or convenient way. Specific facts follow for these issues next. I have also included photos. First, they pilled all over an entire and brand new Reformation dress that I had only worn once and which was not pilled at all when brought in. The rep explained that pilling can happen in the dry clean process, depends on the brand and fabric composition, that they followed dry clean instructions, that they cannot fix the pilling, and did not have the ability to refund me. I had previously brought a different reformation dress in red of the same fabric composition (see pic), which had been cleaned and only showed very slight to no pilling, which suggests to me user error that warrants a refund (I would think they wouldn't refund me $225 for what I paid for the dress, but at the very least the cleaning fee that resulted in pilling the item entirely leaving it to look much much older and used). Second, I was informed that they had "rejected" to repair a zipper on a small pouch I brought in. The rep informed me that the seamstress may have declined to repair the pouch due to fabric issues. This is fine and possibly reasonable, but, they also returned the pouch damaged. Specifically, beyond the zipper not working, the seems are now detached and unraveling. I'm not sure why the seamstress didn't repair it back to the way it was in its original condition? Third, they repaired velcro on a Patagonia jacket, which I asked for. However, upon pick-up, I was charged $20 for cleaning it. I had not asked for this. They rep informed me that it is their policy "to clean all items for alterations due to COVID" and apologized for not having told me this when I dropped the items off; however, again she was not able to refund me for this mistake. Lastly, the rep told me that I could call back in the mornings to speak to the manager about refunds. I am traveling out of the country and have a work schedule that doesn't really allow for time flexibility for things like this. So, this additional step creates a burden on me as a customer. I hope that in the future that they can train reps to make reasonable decisions about when refunds are warranted and to be able to provide this to the customer without additional burden, inconvenience, and disappointment placed on the customer. Unfortunately, they have lost my trust and I will not be returning to this business. This saddens me because I had previously been very happy with the cleaning I had received up to this point and really do appreciate their using green practices. It's too bad it didn't work out but I don't want to support a business that charges me for things I didn't ask for, ruins my items, and can't give me refunds without my doing additional legwork at hours I'm not free even though they made mistakes.
