Maybe I was lucky, there were lots of items with great sale prices -many at 50% and some at 70% off ! Personnel:5/5 Although there are fewer people to assist now, the sales personnel we encountered were consistently pleasant and helpful. Facility : This store is not new, but it is clean and well organized. Aisles are generally comfortably large. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. There are plenty of parking places in this mall. The personnel I saw wore masks. Shoppers didn't wear masks usually. We will return here.

Although I approached a staff member at the cosmetics desk for assistance, I felt ignored when I tried to clarify that my exchange was not a refund and that I had paid for the item. Despite my attempts to explain, the staff member dismissed my concerns and seemed more focused on speaking with her supervisor. The situation escalated, and another employee appeared visibly upset, which added to my frustration. Fortunately, a supervisor eventually resolved the issue and processed my exchange, but the overall experience left me feeling disrespected. I just opening up the belk credit card last July, however, I will close the account now. I don't want to come back to any Belk anymore. I hope Belk invests in better training for their staff to ensure customers receive the service they deserve.

We met the guidelines to get the discount, but they would not give it to us. They said once they run out of coupons they can't do the discount anymore. Sign says through the 29th, says nothing about coupons. I heard a cashier say they only had a couple coupons left, obviously saving them for themselves or friends. They could easily have put a $5 off in manually. Instead they just refused. The only reason we decided to buy a coat there was because of the savings. The store was incredibly unorganized, we had to dig through mounds of unorganized merchandise to find the things we purchased. Then had to stand in a extremely long line just to get denied our discount. They had only one person at the registers for a long time, they finally opened up more registers but at that time the line had already formed ridiculously long. It was a horrible shopping experience, made worse when the discount we deserved was refused.

When we finally asked a male employee for help, the first thing he asked was, "Are you going to buy something?" We told him we weren't sure yet and just wanted to smell the perfumes first, which is completely normal. He helped us briefly and then walked away without saying anything. Later, a female employee came to help us, and the male employee returned and whispered something to her. After that, they were just looking at us instead of actually assisting us. In the end, we did purchase a perfume that cost $210, and the product itself is great--but the customer service was terrible. Wanting to try a fragrance before buying does not mean we weren't serious customers. The way we were treated made the experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming.

Me and my wife just left Walmart finishing up our last min school shopping and while we're ringing…read moreup over $400 in items we thought the cashier rang up something twice and wanted to understand. We tried looking at the pad in front but it was tedious to read so he invited me to come around and look at the register. As I am going through the purchases a big dude in regular clothes approach me and says you need to move from behind the register. Mind you it's me, my wife and two kids. I tell the guy what, who are you he doesn't explain but proceed to tell me to move from behind the register. The nice cashier doesn't say who the guy was so I assumed we were in danger at this point. Not knowing at the time I was behind the register he walked up and stuck his arm out against my wife before approaching me. Long story short we argued back and forth before he said he's security and when I asked for a manager he said there isn't one and walked off and literally disappeared. An over night manager came out after over hearing the arguing and he apologized but he didn't seem to be trained properly for a manager. But he told me the guy was AP. I'm not sure why he felt the need to approach us the way he did but I will be reaching out to their corporate team and their regional/VP regarding him putting his arm on my wife and this whole ordeal. This is unacceptable.
