They could easily have put a $5 off in manually. Instead they just refused. The only reason we decided to buy a coat there was because of the savings. The store was incredibly unorganized, we had to dig through mounds of unorganized merchandise to find the things we purchased. They had only one person at the registers for a long time, they finally opened up more registers but at that time the line had already formed ridiculously long. Businesses lose customers and sales when their posted hours are inaccurate and employees appear unwilling to assist customers during advertised operating hours. Management should ensure the online information is correct and that customers receive consistent service.

Although I approached a staff member at the cosmetics desk for assistance, I felt ignored when I tried to clarify that my exchange was not a refund and that I had paid for the item. Despite my attempts to explain, the staff member dismissed my concerns and seemed more focused on speaking with her supervisor. The situation escalated, and another employee appeared visibly upset, which added to my frustration. Fortunately, a supervisor eventually resolved the issue and processed my exchange, but the overall experience left me feeling disrespected. I just opening up the belk credit card last July, however, I will close the account now. I don't want to come back to any Belk anymore. I hope Belk invests in better training for their staff to ensure customers receive the service they deserve.
