Sign says $5 off if you buy a coat and spend $25 or more. Deal is through the 29th. They refused to honer the deal. It's only $5, its not about the money. We met the guidelines to get the discount, but they would not give it to us. They said once they run out of coupons they can't do the discount anymore. Sign says through the 29th, says nothing about coupons. I heard a cashier say they only had a couple coupons left, obviously saving them for themselves or friends. They could easily have put a $5 off in manually. Instead they just refused. The only reason we decided to buy a coat there was because of the savings. The store was incredibly unorganized, we had to dig through mounds of unorganized merchandise to find the things we purchased. Then had to stand in a extremely long line just to get denied our discount. They had only one person at the registers for a long time, they finally opened up more registers but at that time the line had already formed ridiculously long. It was a horrible shopping experience, made worse when the discount we deserved was refused. read more

Found a few nice sweaters, blouses, and even a pair of shoes for work at great prices. Name brands like Calvin Klein, Tahari, Adrienne Vittadini, and Unisa all at great values. The store seemed well stocked but some areas were a bit disorganized. You do have to dig/look through a lot of low quality items to find nicer quality items. Checkout staff was efficient but not friendly. Will visit this location again since it's close to home. read more

Always great selections and deals. It gets busy at times and the store gets destroyed by patrons but don't hold that against the store. Folks come and treat the place like a flea market what do you expect? Great deals, great finds, great location so we don't have to go all the way down to Duluth anymore! read more

We always seem to find something useful or needed however the store is very messy. Also, most likely due to staffing, the wait times are very long due to only having one or two people working on the registers. This day we waited 22 minutes to checkout. read more

I will give a 0. Elicia from Burlington store told me to get out of the store when I asked for a bag. She introduced herself as a store manager and accused me of stealing in front of 100 people when she was the one who charged me for the stuffs. They verified and found out I was right. She didn't even tell me sorry and I am filing a complaint about her. She doesn't know how to behave with the customer and I wonder how someone like her even works at a retail where customer service is the first priority. This is not acceptable. Please avoid this store if you don't want to be insulted or accused of stealing!!! read more

Walked in and then immediately walked out. The line of people waiting to checkout was almost out the door and there was only 2 cashiers.

MOVE ALONG PEOPLE, THERE'S NOTHING TO SEE HERE! These are the words that you might hear a police officer say while clearing the scene of an accident or when visiting this store after the holiday vultures have retreated. This store stood in stark contrast to the store that we visited on Black Friday. During that visit, the store was clean, organized, well-stocked and well-staffed. I scored my dream coat on that day. To put that purchase in perspective, it was the first serious coat I have purchased since moving to Georgia approximately 15 years ago. It was a major score!! This is still a great place to purchase coats because my husband also scored his wool overcoat from this Burlington. Today I barely recognized this store as it was a mess with the racks mostly empty, unorganized and just a mess. The store appeared to be suspiciously understaffed as if the "holiday workers" quit as soon as they received their last Christmas paycheck. If you are planning on shopping here, I suggest that you wait until after the recovery because the quality stock is gone and what is left has been picked over. You may just want to wait until the spring transition has taken place and the inventory is replaced before venturing out for some serious shopping. Good Luck! read more

0 stars if I could. Elicia is incredibly RUDE. My husband had brought a utility bag to check out. It had no price tag so we asked if she could check for a price as there were similar bags in the store. She abruptly THREW the bag behind her and stated "if there's no tag then I'm not selling it to you" he then offered if he could help her and to look at similar ones for a price. No answer. As we were done paying for other things, he grabbed the receipt and as we were trying to walk out, Elicia comes out from behind the counter and goes straight up to my husband's face. Mind you, she's about 2-3 inches from him standing her ground saying things like "let me tell you something, don't you be snatching anything from my hand. Snatch something from me again" she's standing here bucking up to him as if she's instigating a reaction out of him. I come and intervene while holding my toddler in my arms and she just wouldn't stop. We finally get the chance to walk out the store and I can hear her still running her mouth. Look lady, there wasn't an issue in the first place. Clearly, you didn't want to do the work you're paid to do. We were so shocked at the outcome of her rage. We all have bad days but if you can't regulate your emotions or temper then you shouldn't be working in customer service. We have already filed a complaint with corporate as well. I originally gave Burlington a terrible review. Purchased a jacket for my daughter for Christmas on Oct 28 and returned it on Dec 29; however, they only gave me HALF of my money back even though I had my receipt showing I paid full price. When I objected, they said that the return policy was only for 30 days; after that it was half price. Several days later I noticed that they also had a Holiday return policy which was for any item purchased between Oct 14 and Dec 6. Spoke with the Manager, Meg, who apologized and returned the rest of my money. So any issues, talk to the Manager! read more

I was impressed with how clean and organized this store was. I usually shop at the Sugarloaf location, where it's always a mess and sometimes stressful to shop there. The Buford location has an amazing baby section. You can get strollers, high chairs, play pens, and everything else for baby there at good prices. The staff was really friendly. I will definitely be back to shop at this store. read more

This place is a complete joke. The customer service at this store sucks! I was making a return yesterday and had a customer service representative by the name of Barbara. When I tell you guys this lady does not need to be in customer service at all she doesn't. She isn't friendly at all. I have seen her several times in the store deal with other customer unprofessionally. She is just plain bitter and doesn't have a attitude or demeanor to deal with customers. read more

I worked here for almost 2 months and it was the most horrific job I've ever had. some customers would stand there and insult me until I had to take a break because I was bawling my eyes out under my mask. i got called stupid, told to go back to school, told I can't do math, my clothes were made fun of and it goes on from there. manager Meg was the worst. She apologized to the same customer for my "attitude" and would constantly make me look stupid in front of a customer by saying "it's her first week here" and would never come to the front to help while we were busy. i would call her over the intercom and she would ignore me and sit in the break room until someone went across the store to get her. the employees in shipping talk about you behind your back and everyone who worked there was making less than 9$ An hour For a warehouse job. the only manager that actually helped when we were busy and comforted me after a customer made me cry (2 different occasions) was the reason I stayed as long as I did. Everyone told me retail was horrible, but I didn't expect to go home crying every night. read more

And then I asked if I bought the unopened package and tried it on at home and if I could return it if it does not fit, and was told it cannot be return because it was opened. STFU. Definitely will not be supporting this store anymore. As soon as I walked in a white employee approached me with some hostility and asked me if I had a problem, I didn't see her approach any white men in the store. I definitely will be going back to make a complaint with management. read more
