Me and my wife just left Walmart finishing up our last min school shopping and while we're ringing up over $400 in items we thought the cashier rang up something twice and wanted to understand. We tried looking at the pad in front but it was tedious to read so he invited me to come around and look at the register. As I am going through the purchases a big dude in regular clothes approach me and says you need to move from behind the register. Mind you it's me, my wife and two kids. I tell the guy what, who are you he doesn't explain but proceed to tell me to move from behind the register. The nice cashier doesn't say who the guy was so I assumed we were in danger at this point. Not knowing at the time I was behind the register he walked up and stuck his arm out against my wife before approaching me. Long story short we argued back and forth before he said he's security and when I asked for a manager he said there isn't one and walked off and literally disappeared. An over night manager came out after over hearing the arguing and he apologized but he didn't seem to be trained properly for a manager. But he told me the guy was AP. I'm not sure why he felt the need to approach us the way he did but I will be reaching out to their corporate team and their regional/VP regarding him putting his arm on my wife and this whole ordeal. A 5 wasn't high enough for this experience... Customer service: this isn't typically the response I'd give for a Walmart visit, but every associate was nice to me. It truly felt unreal. I'd give the customer service at this Walmart a 6. Store: Very clean. I also went as soon as they opened, but there were people manning each section, so they were pretty stocked and neat. Best interaction: I spoke with Spencer in the weapon section to get some knowledge on some merchandise. He was more than happy to help and even gave some really good pointers. What a nice guy. He made the shopping experience even more pleasant than it could be. Would I recommend? Yes. Will I be back? Most likely. This store is so satisfactory. read more

I had THE BEST experience the other day at my Sardis Church Rd. Walmart. I'll spare you all the details, but I had Keri (new to Walmart) in Automotive, Bryan-the Automotive Mgr., April-Mgr(?) at Customer Service and a couple of very helpful others, there, taking care of me and my dilemma. After many suggestions and a lot of time, it was all finally resolved thanks to their patience, suggestions and accommodating actions! BUYERS BE AWARE......On many items, the shelf price doesn't match the price that rings up at the register and after reading other's reviews, this seems to be an inherent problem. It's been going on for months and now when I buy certain products, I take a photo of the product with the shelf price to the register. Just recently, before she rang up the products, I informed the cashier of this, (showed her the photos) and she belligerently told me she couldn't change the price. I informed her that I didn't ask her to change the price but to charge me what the shelf price was and informed her that if she couldn't do so, she needed to get a manager in order to do so. I've even gone to Customer Service about this and they didn't seem to give a hoot. Frankly, it's getting rather tiring! read more

Husband went in and had many items to check out. Only one regular register was open. Line extremely long. He didn't want to use the self checkout. He noticed only 2 people supervising them. Said 8 cashiers were standing around just watching. The manager walked by to talk to the greeter and left the area. So, he and others dumped most of them their carts, he rang up a few items and left. Just tried to call the manager, no one will answer the phone!!! I hope they go out of business. read more

This rating is specifically for the experience I had today at the Services / Returns counter. The person who helped me is the Customer Service Manager. She didn't acknowledge me at all (no greeting, no eye contact, no "why are you returning these items?", nothing). She processed my return, mumbled the amount being refunded to me and handed my receipt back to me. If that's the behavior from the Customer Services Manager, that's worrisome. The employee at the register next to her was engaging, polite, efficient, and friendly. I would've much preferred to have interacted with her than the one who processed the transaction today. read more

If you ever want to call the store for ANYTHING you can forget about it. Nobody answers the phone. No one. It just rings 5 times and then nothing. If you go to the store and ask to speak to the manager, forget about it. The employees are told not to bother him. No way to get in touch with anybody. Sucks. read more

Had a great experience here just picking up a few things on the way back to our motel - friendly workers, everything was well-stocked and organized, tons of open parking spaces. They close the back two entrance doors sometime after 10pm it seems, just as a tip. It's also true that only about two registers were open, and self-checkout is shut down at night. However, these things didn't affect us at all. There's a great huge bakery at this Walmart and a wide selection of books compared to some, especially children's books and coloring books. Overall, I would definitely stop in at this location again if I'm in the area. read more

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM WALMART! THEY'LL TAKE YOUR MONEY EVEN IF THEY DON'T HAVE THE PRODUCT AND THEN TRY TO SWITCH YOU TO A SUBSTITUTE IN ORDER TO GET THE SALE. I placed and order online to pick up next day. When I went to pick it up they brought out a substitute I couldn't use. They said they didn't have the product in stock. I asked when would they get the product in or is the product in another close by store. They said they didn't know if it was in another store and would NOT ask around or get the product from another store. I asked how could I make sure the product was actually in a store before I drove around to different stores. I was told I won't be able to check before hand. I'd just have to drive around. I asked to speak to the manager. The manager and I went over these same items with no effort made to satisfy the customer. She said I could either take a refund or the substitute. I asked when more stock was scheduled to arrive, that I could wait for a while. She left and came back sometime later. She said new stock would be in on the 4th of May (today is April 21). I said I'd see them then. Walmart online ordering would rather inconvenience and aggravate a customer and loose the sale, than get the product from a near by store (or at least find the product in a near by store) and share the sale and make the customer happy with the effort. Today my mother and I were checking out and we're trying to find a deal on birthday bags but settled with what we could find. MS. TAMMI...went well out of her way to help us find what we were looking for and saved us a few dollars each! I have never in my life witnessed such an amazing act of kindness. Was that her job to go out of her way for almost 20 minutes looking for birthday bags??? NO! But she did and we are forever grateful! The Walmart on Sardis Church Rd has gone downhill in the past 9 months or so. The entire store is not stocked well and is very unorganized. Boxes of items sit in nearly every aisle and bags of trash are laying around various spots. Dress code is virtually none-existent as employees wear anything they want...sweatpants, pants hanging off their bottoms, etc. Looks very unprofessional. Taking my business elsewhere unless they get their act together. read more

Updating my review since my last one was 'emotional". This is walmart and where I go whenever I need - walmart stuff. From sporting goods items, to medicine, shorts, socks, food, whatever you need is here. Place is clean, well stocked and other than the vision center, I'm here often for what everyone else gets. Its the closest to my home but Oakwood is the same distance but not the standard this one is. Dacula/Buford area at Hamilton mill is one of the better ones in N Ga and a easy on off from 85. Staff is usually always helpful and people watching is better at the Buford 985 store .. why I go here.. read more

This is Wal-Mart! Some like it some don't. The store has what you need. Screaming kids, family outings for groceries no different from any other Wal-Mart. I shop at this location since its closes to home. I have never had a problem looking for/ finding items. Since Atlanta roads/ highways are basically SHUT DOWN due to snow yesterday. I can surely thank this location for having yet again what I need. Kids are home today and tomorrow, so I'm here to purchase a few stuck in the house cabin fever treats. read more

So sick of this Walmart and not honoring the price listed!!! I went to the register (self check out) and the register rung it up wrong. So I flagged the associate down and explained. She said that is not the price. I walked back and I took 2 photos of the price listed for these items.. two end caps had the same price on them and walked back and showed the associate. She said "it has to be 3 end caps to honor the price" What? So, I said, "Are you kidding me, are you making that up?" Then she said. Ok, I will give it to you on one item but I can't do both. I said no, you should honor the price on both items. She said she can't do that, "the system won't let her". So I said, ok get a manager. I waited 45 mins for them to finally get the manager. They keep telling me there was no manager or supervisor available and they avoided me, like they were just waiting for me to give up and leave... Nope... I was not going to give in. It was on now.. every associate I approached treated me poorly. The manager finally showed up, he honored the price and that was it. Simple as that. But guess who he had check me out? .. Yep... the lady that said she didn't have the ability to change the price for both items, only one of them. Liar!!! I wish I would have got the names of these associates. They were terrible! No customer service at all. Now I rarely shop there. read more

Unable to access garden center plants at 9:06 am on Tuesday Came back Saturday and unable to access garden center plants on Saturday at 630pm. Plants are behind locked rolling doors. Customer Service said hours are 8a-7p. What a waste of shelf space for perishable, seasonal items. Why would I even consider returning for anything garden related when a Home Depot is 4 mins away. Hope their vendors are aware that the inventory is not moving as quickly due to poor management of the product. Zero sales per square foot makes zero sense. read more

REVIEW FOR THE OPTICAL INSIDE OF THIS WALMART, THEY ARE TECHNICALLY U & M FAMILY EYECARE This office was very professional. You wouldn't expect that necessarily since they are located inside of the Walmart. The optometrist was very knowledgeable and had me try out contacts for an astigmatism which hadn't been suggested in years for me. The contact didn't fit well for me, but it was nice that he mentioned it. Also, the tech Ty was great. She was super friendly and efficient. I was in and out in less than an hour. I can't stand going to Walmart. Their parking lots remind me of Disney, asphalt jungles; and I always feel like they should have a trolley or monorail from your car to the entrance. This Walmart is an exception however. It is clean and the parking lot is laid out well. The distance between aisles is good and the store is organized efficiently. Of course it also has everything you need. The auto shop has great customer service and their prices on new tires are tough to beat. I recently replaced all four on my car They had it in and out within 30 minutes. An added bonus, you get to stroll around the store while they work on your car, giving you ample opportunity to spend money on stuff you had no intention of buying when you went there. read more

Worst Walmart I have ever been to! You have to check every single thing you buy to make sure it's not expired! They're notorious for having expired food on the shelves! No matter how many times you complain to the managers about it, they don't care and will not fix it. They also love to shut down all of the checkout lanes by about eight or 9 PM. No matter how many customers they have or how many of the customers complain, they only have one or two lanes openafter 7 PM. They even do this during the Christmas season! I absolutely hate this Walmart, and would love nothing more than for it to shut down! If I could give this Walmart zero stars, I would!
