Not even a month later where Macy's was the 15th. I paid Belk's on the 6th and they still charged me a $29 late fee. Today, September 14th I went online when I saw $1 interest and late fee. Belk's also charges a monthly fee for paper bill. When talking to customer service chickens are going off in the background. I cancelled my credit card.

After I get it home I realize that it looked like it had been opened and resealed. Yes.....it was returned and they put it back on the shelf!!! I plugged it in just to see and yes, the power wouldn't even come on....The bottom of the filter holder wasn't even there and there was no filter....I have always purchased my small appliances from Target. We met the guidelines to get the discount, but they would not give it to us. They said once they run out of coupons they can't do the discount anymore. Sign says through the 29th, says nothing about coupons. I heard a cashier say they only had a couple coupons left, obviously saving them for themselves or friends. They could easily have put a $5 off in manually. Instead they just refused. The only reason we decided to buy a coat there was because of the savings. The store was incredibly unorganized, we had to dig through mounds of unorganized merchandise to find the things we purchased. Then had to stand in a extremely long line just to get denied our discount. They had only one person at the registers for a long time, they finally opened up more registers but at that time the line had already formed ridiculously long. It was a horrible shopping experience, made worse when the discount we deserved was refused.

CHECK THE PERIMETER!…read more It is so easy to go into this store and just focus on shoes, bags and clothing because they are a major part of the store's inventory. However, you really need to consider the perimeter of the store and other "neglected" areas. Marshalls has great picture frames that are varied and unique. I love wood and leather because these materials continue to look great over time. Ten years from now, they will look the same as the day they were purchased. I love their bedding and especially their cotton mattress covers. They are great (thick and deep for oversized mattresses), and usually go on clearance after Christmas. My husband and I love to purchase our earbuds here because they are one of few stores that still carry the ones with volume control, (a must for the elliptical). Although I did not find the ones with volume control, we did find a nice pair with the microphone, remote and travel bag at a great price. Visit the food aisle and get something special such as a jar of preserves, balsamic vinegar, olive oil chips or whatever you desire. It is a fun way to try something new and to treat yourself in the process. Don't just stand in line staring out in space because this is where you find some of the coolest little items, like cooking utensils, gift wrapping paper as well as odds and ends. I purchased this lovely gift wrapping paper that resembled a map of the world along with a really nice, (heavy weight) gift bag. This is always a great resource when it comes to gift wrapping supplies because they have quality, unique items at great prices. Don't forget to go beyond the obvious and check out EVERYTHING because you never know what you might find and I have found some great surprises by just snooping around!

My experience here was honestly disappointing. My husband and I came in to buy a perfume, and from…read morethe start we felt ignored--likely because we're young. When we finally asked a male employee for help, the first thing he asked was, "Are you going to buy something?" We told him we weren't sure yet and just wanted to smell the perfumes first, which is completely normal. He helped us briefly and then walked away without saying anything. Later, a female employee came to help us, and the male employee returned and whispered something to her. After that, they were just looking at us instead of actually assisting us. In the end, we did purchase a perfume that cost $210, and the product itself is great--but the customer service was terrible. Wanting to try a fragrance before buying does not mean we weren't serious customers. The way we were treated made the experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming.
