They carry very cute lines of clothing, and a variety of other baby items, one of which is teething toys from a company called Itzy Ritzy ~ right in downtown Naperville. Take the time to look at everything because you might just stumble on the perfect baby/shower gift. There were even a few pairs of adorable shoes for those babies who are not yet standing or walking. Sizes start with newborn and go up to 4T and there is a sister store in Geneva, so if this store doesn't have the size you are looking for, the other store might. I did purchase a few things, but I did not feel pressured in any way. Jennie was able to answer all my questions and welcomed me to browse for as long as I wanted. Pricing was right on target for the items. This store put a smile on my face.

There weren't a ton of things in the store and there seemed to be a lot of space behind the counter with things that hadn't gotten out on the shelves yet. I was grateful that I as able to find a few items. When checking out the woman wasn't friendly and really didn't say anything to me other than the total. Also kind of tucked away and hard to find. Probably not my first Once Upon A Child that I will return too.

It seems like at the time I was here they'd just opened an expanded portion of their store, where they have some toys and things for older children--toddlers and up. You'll find lots of clothes, blankets, and books, as well as a couple wagons, strollers, and car seats. The owner is a midwife as well so you might avail yourself of services, too. I bought a couple of onesies that are magnetized. I keep hearing "no snaps!!" (but like EVERY PIECE of baby clothing has snaps...), so these were intriguing. They have a magnets along the flap as the closure mechanism so I bought a couple in the 6-9 month and above size to try them out. I have high hopes!

Not sure what happened but my friend said they packed the wrong size of ruffle butt when they got the outfit. I went to exchange but they no longer had the size we needed. Still, the store associate was very helpful and helped us pick out another outfit that fit the same vibe.

This store is overpriced with a very small selection. They had a few sale items like old unpopular…read moresized jeans for $1; however many of the items would not be considered "vintage". They have many items on par with typical Goodwill donations, but for 3 times the price. For example, a $38 Sonoma leather jacket from Kohl's. Regarding service, the clerk clearly did not plan to speak to me. However, I kept eye contact until she was forced to acknowledge me. At which point she said hello and I replied in kind. The next customer who entered received a much more enthusiastic greeting that I did. Towards the back, a male clerk walked by me several times, but also didn't speak. Overall, it's a cute set up, but not worth the time or the consideration of spending money. Especially if they can't be bothered to speak.
