I've been to two of these in the city and had no idea we'd gotten one here in N'ville...and yet here it was, hiding in plain sight on the main drag of Jefferson. Lucky me! This store is great! I love the accessories (scarves! bags! jewelry!) but they have some nice clothing as well, and it's surprisingly well-made for such affordable items. I saw some beautiful coats of a silvery blue jacquard-type fabric that almost looked as though they could have been vintage, and were nicely finished so that they really seemed as though they hearkened back to the days when people actually gave a care about linings and buttons. The selection isn't great - things you should have been able to find were not available during my visit. Curt and inconsiderate service - especially when you are returning or exchanging an item. What a great store! I absolutely fell in love with Francesca's Collections. I seriously could have spent all day in this store and probably could have emptied my bank account buying their jewelry and clothes. I got a beautiful coral and gold necklace for $18.00 and a pair of sunglasses for $14.00. At the time, they had a lot of sales going on. One section of the store was buy one item get one 50% off and outside they had a rack of clothes where you buy one item and you get one free. The clothes are adorable! A lot of high wasted pants and shorts with great, colorful chevron and tribal patterns, and really great, light, summery shirts. The staff were awesome. As soon as you walk in, someone greets you and asks if you need any help. When I was checking out the girl was so nice and polite. I had been waiting a long while in line and as soon as I got up there to check out she apologized to me and thanked me for waiting so long. I only have two issues with this store which is why I didn't give it five stars. The clothes are so nice but if it's not on sale rack, it's really expensive. The jewelry was also really, really expensive. I didn't want to spend $18.00 on the necklace but it was so cute I just had to have it. Ughhh. Charming Charlies has the same jewelry for much cheaper, but this place is conveniently located for me so I'm willing to pay the difference. My second issue is the size of the store. I went on a Saturday around noon and it was probably at max capacity. It was extremely hard to move in there and impossible to look through all the jewelry and racks of clothing without bumping into someone or having to wait for someone to move. I just adore Francesca's. It's my go to spot when I'm in need of a new top, dress, or gift! Their clothes are super cute and trendy and they always have deals on jewelry. I love the fact that they organize their garments by color. Prices are reasonable especially for a shop their size. It's nice when there aren't 50 of the same shirt! Feels like you're getting something unique :) Plus! They have a rack of "onesies" which includes items in which they only have one left and those are marked down 40%! Score! Amongst their clothes and accessories they also have awesome little gifts and nic-nacs. Anything from home decor, to wine glasses, to funny trinkets, and bridal essentials. Love it! The most noteworthy point about this Francesca's is their customer service. I've been in here a handful of times and the sales associate always remembers me! Everyone working there is always quick to help you find just what you're looking for and they even make suggestions on how to pair jewelry and accessories. It's like having your own personal stylist without breaking the bank! The only reason I can't give Francesca's a full 5 stars, is the quality of their clothes. For the most part I have no issues, but I have had some threads come out and the buttons on my super cute cape coat keep falling off :( Now if this was like a Forever21 all would be forgiven, but at this price point I expect better. I've heard of this place, and I've seen the Wheaton location but never went in there. I have a few coupons for this place so I thought it would be worth checking out sometime. Unfortunately, my first visit to this store was unexpected and my coupons weren't on me. I will also add that I had no idea this place was in downtown Naperville as I never really walked around or even down Jefferson till this past weekend. So...if you find parking and are browsing the area, stop in here, what a great little store!!! As others have mentioned - jewelry, clothes, shoes, accessories, purses, etc. Also what caught my eye for future purchases is that this is a great store to find that unique gift for that female in your life...girlfriend, mother, co-worker, etc. they have all kinds of neat stuff, wine glasses, wine openers, wine glass TUTUS!!! you name it...they have a gift for most females in this shop! I always catch myself buy something here, whether it is in the store or online. First off, I have to get a shout out to the staff here, because they are the most excellent and lively group of people I have every met in a boutique. The girls are very helpful and always have an insight and opinion and will tell you the truth, which I love! The accessories section is what you see when you first walk in. Yes, it can be overwhelming, but all of there jewelry is of excellent quality. This store has something for EVER outfit. There is a reason why their accessories/shoes were used on Project Runway.. Did you know that? My advice for this store, if you see something.. GET IT! I say this because, I have come in here for something cute (usually shopping for something summer related for my trips to Miami) and I was like "Oh, I'll think about it and come back". Negative! If it's there, you better get it or it most likely will not be there when you come back for it. This is a negative and a positive about this store. The positive part is that they are constantly changing their inventory so there is always something new every week, but dang!.. I wish that dress was still that (that's the only negative). It was super cute -they have a nice variety of clothes and a lot of cute gift items. This whole area in downtown Naperville is super cute! This store touts adorable clothes at mostly reasonable prices. They also have a lot of novelty items (of the gag gift variety), which are interesting to look at, but honestly, if I saw something I liked, I'd go and pick it up on amazon instead because it'd be cheaper. They also have tons of statement pieces of jewelry, which are so hard to pass up. I was impressed when a sales associate spent a lot of time with us to help my friend pick the perfect necklace to match her shirt. Staff is super nice and helpful. If I can give it no stars I would. My 60 year old mom wanted to buy a bracelet and asked if she can return the broken one she purchased. The girl said no and when my mom asked another question she told her to leave. My mom wanted to purchase a bracelet and didn't let her. I am sick over this. I've spent hundreds at this store and for her to do this to my mother was a slap in the face. No one should ever refuse a customer. Maybe it was the accent but still. This girl was a heavy set curly haired brunette. Please beware she has a bad attitude and a cold heart and doesn't do well with older ladies with accents. When you come into the store you should be greeted and they should smile. The staff there had zero customer service skills. I've worked in customer service. This place is great! It reminds me of an Urban Outfitters only with better, and less expensive clothes! I stopped in here the other day after a visit to Adagio Teas to find that not only to they have a whole bunch of cute little gift items, and cute jewelry, but they have very reasonably priced clothes that are perfect for wearing to work. I didn't really have much time to try anything on, but I have a feeling I'll be back. I love this place, prices are good for the quality of what you are getting, meaning prices are a little higher but it's for stuff you will want to keep for a long time. Plus the customer service is also very good. They always chat with you if you wanna chat or leave you alone if you wanna shop in peace. These reviews are obviously written by people closely associated with the store, no one would spend such time writing about Francesca's unless they have something to complain about, as I do. I walked into this particular Francesca's after going into the new Sephora, down the street. I had dropped quite a bit of money on makeup that day and had a large Sephora bag. Upon walking in I was immediately asked to see what was in my bag. I assumed the associate was interested because what girl isn't intrigued by a huge bag filled with makeup? So I explained what I had gotten that day. Not two minutes later did another sales worker ask about my bag, I explained again. At this point I had yet to think anything of it. About three minutes later a 3rd person asked to see what was in my bag, I flat out said no, and was getting very irritated. I walk to the other side of the store to look at earrings and a 4th person asked if they could put my bag behind the counter, I said no, and her comment back to me was "It's not like I'm going to steal anything." My response to her was "I just spent $300 at Sephora, I am not interested in stealing from your buy one get 50% off sale." And I promptly left the store. In my opinion, I was treated ridiculously in the store. I was dressed nicely and happened to be hauling a large Sephora bag around. Would they have preferred I left the bag on the sidewalk? After this incident I contacted their head office three times, each time I received a generic response saying someone will get back to me; they never did.
